Hey all,

I know this is bit of a long shot, but is anyone due in March 2021?

I appreciate everyone is from different places, but are there a few ladies that want to create a WhatsApp group or something so we can be “cyber mum friends”?

I know being a mum (or a first time mum in my case) can be very daunting and a scary time, and not only that, but it can be quite lonely.. so it’s be great if a few people would like to become “online friends” so we can just talk and have company/share experiences/worries/how bored they are

Mw keeps offering me a lavender bath. I know I won't enjoy it, I hate baths that are anything less than piping hot but she obviously has a liking for the lavender bath.

@MeelaNotMyla I’ve got that downloaded for if I go in to be induced. Good luck and fingers crossed it’s over soon and you have your little one 😊

@MeelaNotMyla Inductions can be bit boring coz usually u would have relatives and partner being allowed in with u. But did they say u need to be a certain dilated for ur partner in the room with u? You got this and soon enough u will have ur baby 👶 💛.

They just said when I move up to delivery dh can come. But not sure when that will be. Having regular contractions now but can still talk through them, dh is on stand by to set off as soon as I ring

Mw said not to ring husband yet as it could be ages but I know from think will kick off now

I'm due tomorrow (2nd Match) with my 3rd child!
Was overdue by around a week with both previous pregnancies so not holding my breath for any movements tomorrow!!
Looking forward to hearing how everyone gets on 😊

Hi ladies, I've been trying to post for days now, start the message and getting sidetracked, and then trying to catch up with new posts... Can't cope!!!
Just wanted to say my DS is with us now ❤️❤️❤️- born by ELCS on 24th February, 8.3lbs so smaller than we expected. I'm sooooo in love with him ❤️❤️❤️
There were some complications with my delivery, which is why I was out for a few days, but we're both finally at home now, recovering and fighting hard to breastfeed.

@HungryHippo20 congratulations to you !!! Hope you're both good and you're feeling every day.

To all the March mummies - good luck and all the best! I'll try to post some more once I catch up on some sleep.

I hear you with the breastfeeding battle, it's really tough!!! Much more so than I expected to be honest. We are now on day 5 since baby arrived and I've struggled. Am now giving her formula too. Milk not yet through fully but close...apparently takes longer for us c section mums and am hoping this makes a difference 🤞

I text dh to come when my waters broke which was a good job because he got here as I was walking up to delivery. Could barely walk they were coming thick and fast. Got on the bed, new midwife started asking questions and I just said I need to push. She had a quick look. Said oh I haven't time to my gloves on! And within about 3 pushes she was out haha!! Dh was white he had only just got here!

She is beautiful, 9lbs 3oz and perfect. After all that worrying about induction it was the easiest of my labours! Only pain relief was gas and air and that was only for about 5 minutes at the end

A massive congratulations to you and your new arrival! I hope you both heal quickly and enjoy your baby 👶 💕 We're so proud!! Love a happy birth story! Hopefully we all have a good birth and nothing unexpected or traumatic.

Just had my first sweep, I’m 1.5cm dilated with a favourable cervix and booked in for another one on Thursday. Fingers crossed this gets things moving. I shall be spending my day on my ball, walking and staying as upright as possible

@MForMed aww Congratulations 👏 💖 on your baby boy! Hope you're healing well and don't be too hard on yourself as breastfeeding can be time-consuming but very rewarding. Take it slow and bonding is the key. I remember not having the Lansinoh nipple cream, I nearly swore I wouldn't breastfeed again but luckily my cousin grabbed the cream from tesco and it done wonders straight away (my nipple was sore, cracked and bleeding a bit)

@HungryHippo20 congratulations 👏 on your baby as well I keep missing whose had their baby's kkk. Hope the baby becomes a joy for you after the pain. I used to mix feed as well even though midwifes and nurses used to tell me "mum you do know that breast is best" i was feeling so bad but only you know what you went through! Kkkk I remember my mum was caught bottle feeding while I was out of it (dizzy and about to faint) and she got told off!!!
They should advise not pressure ppl!
Got my midwife today bit nervous I don't know why, this time last year they told me go up to labour ward to be induced coz of protein in urine. Hopefully everything will be fine 🙂

Hope everyone is well. My latest is that I’m now getting induced tomorrow due to static growth. Original due date was 24th March, now bubba should be here on the 9th/10th. Let’s hope the 9th

Congratulations on all the new babies.
Having a sweep on Tuesday so we'll see what that does. Having lots of really strong braxton hicks contractions this time (don't remember this with DS) but after getting excited thinking it might be the start of something on Wednesday (when they first felt strong and seemed to be vaguely regular), I've accepted it'll probably be a while yet.

Morning ladies, no sign here yet! Although I do have bouts of unbearable shooting pains sometimes when he's really moving about in there, I could cry!! I'm fed up now just want him here!
Tried hot curries, pineapple, upped the expressing, been exercising on my birth ball and even attempted sexy time (safe to say that didn't work 😂) nothing seems to be working so I've accepted he will just come when he's ready! Just so uncomfortable... but it'll be so worth it when he's here. I'm just praying he won't go too overdue and be huge. Biggest fear! 😩

I’ve been having period pain/BH constantly for days now. Every meal has been spicy, been for plenty of walks, tried the usual! Just so fed up now and have had a constant headache for 2 weeks. I’ve got a sweep tomorrow so praying that does something!

Ladies- can anyone enlighten me on the current rules for birth partners? Are they allowed in from 4cm or can they be with you for the full show? 😂 how did you new mamas in the group find things? Xx
