Hi Ladies,
Hope your all well?
I posted on here about 6 weeks ago... due 9th June at the mo... I'm 12 weeks today although I'm not having a scan until 14 weeks which is a bummer. Lovely to hear all the scans are going well 🥰

I was wondering if anyone is starting to feel better? Evenings are the worst for me and I'm still throwing up alot... I was hoping it would subside now I'm coming up to the end of the first trimester but no such luck!! So I was just wondering how you ladies are getting on?
Also is there a FB page I can join 😊😊

Happy2be · 25/11/2020 17:35

Firsttimeconcerns · 25/11/2020 19:15

Hey everyone,

I have previously posted about spotting/slight bleeding at 6 weeks. I am now 9 weeks and just having one of those anxious days. Just wanted to ask about people's sickness.

I know everyone's experiences are different and I'm not complaining or wanting to feel more sick than I am... But, I find myself retching as opposed to actually beng sick. I feel nauseous but not actually throwing up.

Did people's morning sickness begin like this and worsen?

I don't want to wish sickness on myself but worrying today it could be because my hormones aren't strong enough?

Confused
Scarftown · 25/11/2020 19:42

I have had nausea and retching on and off for the past 6 weeks. But actually haven’t been sick yet. So for me I hope that’s not how it starts as I’m kinda hoping now I’m at week 11 it will stop soon.

I have some days where I have no symptoms and you wouldn’t think I was pregnant and others where I look like I have a 6 month bump I’m exhausted and I either can’t eat or want to only eat junk food. I have put it down as just hormone fluctuations and keeping fingers crossed that at my scan next week I am right. Smile

milly159 · 25/11/2020 19:50

@Happy2be, I havent had anything cone through yet x

Firsttimeconcerns · 25/11/2020 19:53

@Scarftown thank you for sharing.

I have an early private scan on Saturday which I'm hoping will reassure me. I still haven't had a letter through for my 12 weeks but won't be due until final week of Dec.

Happy2be · 25/11/2020 19:55

@milly159 ive sent you a pm

Bs93 · 25/11/2020 20:27

@Firsttimeconcerns I feel sick all the time but haven’t been sick and I think quite a few on here are the same, it’s totally normal!

Northernlass101 · 25/11/2020 20:28

I never got my link :(

Can you tell me the name and I will search it and apply to join 🙂??? I'm using the Mumsnet app it doesn't show a direct message option?

Dragonfly92 · 25/11/2020 20:28

@Firsttimeconcerns I've not been sick (apart from when I had a stomach bug) and just have days where I feel constantly nauseous. It makes me cough and then I find myself retching but never actually sick.
I'm 10+5 and like @Scarftown, I have days where I feel perfectly fine, apart from achey boobs, and then days where I just feel so sick. I personally just try to enjoy the days where I feel better and try not to worry because the sickness feeling comes back around.

Garman · 25/11/2020 20:34

@Firsttimeconcerns morning sickness covers everything from mild nausea to vomiting throughout the day, it doesn't have to specifically be vomiting. In 3 pregnancies I've vomited twice in my first first trimester and never again, but I get almost constant low level nausea from 6 weeks to birth.

Garman · 25/11/2020 20:35

And I never retch.

Happy2be · 25/11/2020 20:45

@Northernlass101 ive sent you a link via pm

Firsttimeconcerns · 25/11/2020 20:58

Thank you
@Garman @Dragonfly92 @Bs93

That's made me feel much better. I think I'm just having one of those days. Thank you for taking time to reply

Ivybutterfly · 26/11/2020 21:27

@Ned106 welcome! Maybe it is because of Covid? I would ask about bloods and stuff.

PebzRebz90 · 27/11/2020 13:47

Hi everyone! Seeing these threads has been helping so much! I’m 10+6 and due mid June. But currently struggling with full time work, the exhaustion is unreal but luckily the sickness seems to be easing. Anyone else really struggling with work?

AlRRRR · 29/11/2020 07:51

Hey :)

Just woke up this morning to a bit of blood on tissue when I wiped. Minimal, no pain or cramping. Just streaks, I’m 10 weeks plus 2 days.

Has anyone experienced this, this late? I am going to ring the EPU at 8:30 when they open, but just wondered if anyone has experienced it? :)

swiftt · 29/11/2020 07:53

@AlRRRR thread is full now, find us over here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/4090022-June-2021-part-3

Hopefully someone will have experienced the same, I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about but phoning EPU should put your mind at ease x
