Is anyone else dreaming loads? I know it’s a pregnancy symptom but it’s so weird! For the last few weeks, I wake up in the night because of a weird dream, and I can remember most of it. I then normally wake up in the morning remembering another dream I’ve had! I think before being pregnant, the last time I remembered anything I dreamt was months and months ago.

Also an annoying combination of feeling sick and feeling like my tummy is empty. I managed to eat an okay ish amount last night but I’ve still woken up feeling really sick and empty. Not much I can do to fill up when I literally gag over my plate as I eat 🙈

Again thank you all. We really dont mind whether we have a little boy or girl after everything thats happened. But when the consultant asked if we would like to know we did say yes and shes 99% sure its a little boy.

@Penny2020 I know exactly how you feel. Still cautiously optimistic and letting the news sink in a little. Really want to share our news with others too but going to wait until we can see them

@Bs93 I’ve been lucky with nausea it’s only happened about twice but every 2-3 hours after eating I am ravenously hungry again - a really really empty feeling! I’m 9 weeks tomorrow.

@Bs93 @Tatty1987 same!! Feel like I’m on a constant cycle of eating, feeling hungry, feeling sick, then eating again! By some miracle haven’t put any weight on yet.

Hello ladies, I am due around 4th June and I am currently 9 weeks 3 days with my first baby. I had a private scan last week where I was measuring around 1 week behind but I was reassured this is normal. It was just so lovely and reassuring to see a heartbeat!

Hi all, hope everyone is ok.
I was referred to the early pregnancy unit for a scan today after some bleeding and pain on Thursday. Baby is measuring a week behind where I was initially ( originally told 10wks +3 but scan shows 9wks +3)but it does make a lot more sense as to when I ovulated, I have also read that growing can also catch up over the 12 weeks. Heartbeat also seen.
No known reason for the bleed, everything else looked clear.

Trying to take it easy, although not the easiest with a 3 yr old! Hopefully will be more reassured at 12 week scan.

Anyone else in a similar position?

@Viper84 i was told you date can constantly change up to the 12 week mark when they date you and it will stay at that date thereafter because growth can change so much before that mark.

Not at the same stage but my last pregnancy i had a slight bleed around 32 weeks which was down to BV. Thats good that the scan showed everything was ok ❤️

@Bs93 yes! I had a bizarre one last night that my baby was born and she had a nipple on her face and 4 other nipples. They said she wasn't fully developed yet so they would put her back in for a few weeks 🙈

Me!!! Strange vivid dreams every night for the past two weeks ! Constantly hungry even though I'm eating but still have food aversion and nausea, not as bad but still there, waking up hungry and I'm like how 🤣

@Viper84 I am not as far along as you but I was referred to the EPAUnit too for a scan a couple of weeks ago. I was dated behind where I thought I was and was told that the accuracy isn't reliable until the baby is bigger. They detected a heartbeat and the bleeding has stopped but they weren't sure what had caused the bleeding to start. I have a private scan booked for next weekend just to see how things are as my dating scan isn't until the last week of December so it's a long wait.

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow and really struggling with only being able to eat small portions of meals! I can’t remember the last time I had a decent, fully sized portion of a meal. Cooked myself a lovely roast dinner tonight, I’d been dreaming of it all week and was really looking forward to it. Managed about a third of it. Now in bed feeling soooo full and bloated and generally uncomfortable. I can usually eat purely for the sake of eating, so this is totally new for me. Is anyone else having the same thing?

@swiftt yep! Generally get fuller much quicker on evening meals than I used to. Ive been halving my old portions mostly

@swiftt me too. Just in the last few days but I’m fine breakfast but evening meals I can’t eat hardly anything before feeling really full and bloated. Look about 5 months pregnant not 11 weeks. Getting a little constipated too.

Glad I’m not the only one with the weird dreams!! It’s so strange

I also have the issue of eating a few bites then having to stop, it’s awful when it’s something you’ve really fancied. Although I did manage to eat a big portion of pasta tonight, it was the most I’ve ate in one sitting for weeks. Obviously have felt sick all night but it was worth it

Glad to see I'm not the only one having food miseries! I was nauseous all week and woke up fine yesterday, was fine all day and ate normally it was great! Today I was fine again when I woke up, by lunchtime as soon as I finished eating the nausea was back again and it hasn't gone since. Have taken myself to bed early because I'm no company and am so sick of being hungry but nothing satisfying me/seeming appealing.

@swiftt yup I'm the same , I'll be 11 weeks Tuesday, I thought it was improving but last 3 days have been the worst, I can eat plain pasta , the foods I had been relying on like spuds etc can't even think to eat now 🤢 it's so strange ! All I've had today is cereal, a lolly pop and bag of crsips , I feel so bad not getting healthy food in

I'm fed up of eating like a fussy toddler. Plain food or potatoes are actually amazing

@Scarftown yes, evening meals definitely the worst. I can scoff all sorts in the morning - I’m usually a breakfast skipper and can’t eat til lunch so this is all new to me haha!

And the dreams! Last night I really vividly dreamt I’d given birth except it was a kitten, and no one cared and everyone just treated it like a baby all the same. So bizarre!

@waitingforbabypage same here ! It's the aspect of pregnancy I was so clueless about ! So much for the eating for two 🤣 can barely eat for one

Haha so I'm really early, coming up to 5 weeks. I haven't been turned off food yet but I'm not eating loads 😅 I'm craving milkshakes all the time though.
When did your nausea start?? What week x

@AnnaPosie cheddar biscuits are a god send. My OH has just gone to the take away to get me some chips with seasoning salt on them (it's spiced like Nando's chips) he's a legend.

Hiya! Welcome and congratulations!! Nausea for me started around the 6/7 week mark, no actual sickness but just nausea. Still going at the 12 week mark, it's a delicate balance- being hungry makes me nauseous, too much food does it too, the wrong food definitely does. 😂 being pregnant is fun.
