Wanted to create a follow up thread for those who are pregnant and are due in May 2021. Please feel free to ask questions and share stories

@RustyCat @Beepbeep42 Wishing you both loads of luck for the scans tomorrow. Mine's on Friday....so nervous!!!

@Bea11 thank you! I'm so so nervous, feels the morning of my wedding all over again! I'm excited too but nervous it might be bad news (paranoia from last time)

I know exactly what you mean. I've had 3 miscarriages in the past 18 months and one of them I only found out about at the 12 week scan. It's so hard to stay positive isn't it when you're trying to protect yourself too. I want to get excited but I just can't let myself until I know all is ok. Will be thinking of you tomorrow and keeping everyone crossed for you. Are partners allowed to go where you are? Ours are currently allowing them but we've been told to ring on the day because they could change the rules at any moment!

Scan day ladies!!!!
Don't know about you but I am sick with nerves.

Partner is not allowed with me to this 12week scan, which makes me more nervous. What if something is wrong? I have to deal with the news by myself and get a bus home I know I'm fearing the worst when I should be staying positive but I am honestly just waiting for something to go wrong.

@Waitingforbabypage it is indeed. I am the same I was awake at 5 feeling sick and nervous. Not been able to eat yet either 🤣.

I am too going on my own, DH is at work as he cannot get out due to a special event or some rubbish. So I'm driving on my own and going in on my own. Absolutely bricking it if I'm honest!

I am sure we will all have amazing scans same as everyone else!

@RustyCat virtually holding your hand for today then. We'll get through it together. What times your scan? 10.30 here.
It feel like I've been waiting for this for an age! Things have to be going ok in there, They just have to be!
I've been up since 6, going to force myself to eat something in a min as the hunger sets off the nausea. 😂

Agreed it feels like I've been waiting ages! This last month since my booking appointment has dragged 🤣.

Ooh so, got my dates suuuuper wrong!!
Turns out, I'm only actually 9 weeks along which makes it a June baby! But it was reassuring to see a jiggly, happy little bean in there waving little arms and legs about.
Hope everyone else's scans go well!

Oh my god! You guys I sobbed my heart out, when the ultrasound lady turned the monitor on for me to see... I am expecting twins!! The shock is unreal, I thought she was winding me up at first!

@RustyCat OMG!!!!!! AMAZING! How do you feel!? Do you have any other children? WOW WOW WOW!

@RustyCat oh my god twins, how amazing! I would’ve loved twins but my husband definitely didn’t! How do you feel?

I am still shell shocked I really am. Especially a si have had little to no symptoms it's so strange to think I have two bubba's wiggling around inside!

I'll pop up some pictures in a second. They are amazing, the hospital gave me like 7 pictures!!

I know right?? I burst into tears when she finally showed me and said 'here are the babies' I honestly couldn't believe it.

I feel so happy and over the moon but shocked. Measuring 12wk 2 so 1 day ahead but with twins they'll probably come early but my due date is 16th May 😊.

@Littlebee1990 thank you! I have 7 in total she kept printing them 🤣. How exciting! I don't think ill make it to my due date. I reckon they'll come earlier.

@Waitingforbabypage thank you!! I'm so happy! Ooh see that's what I'm hoping for! They aren't identical, they have their own placentas and own membranes (bubbles basically)

@RustyCat oh wow, amazing to see you are expecting twins! Congratulations!!!! Such amazing news. Know your partner couldn't be there, have you told him yet? Did he also think it was a joke?!

Hope everyone else has had good scans. Some of my symptoms have dropped off a little woohoo so kind of feel normal/not pregnant right this second!

@choccychar he doesn't know yet! Been waiting for him to come back so I can tell him and see the look on his face 😂. I deserve that at least for having to go in on my own.
