Looking for someone to chat too? I'm due on 22nd of may by the online calculators.

Just wanted to speak with someone who's just found out their expecting too?

Feeling very anxious due to previously having misscarriages

Hi ladies! I'm a couple of days late and got this this morning! Due around to the 23rd of may! Don't want to get excited at all due to a miscarriage last June, hoping this baby is sticky!!

Is anyone else due on the 22nd may 2021?
LaMadrilena · 14/09/2020 14:32

Joining in, first timer due 22/05/21!

I had a chemical last month. Had lots of cramps, which I read could be normal, but which eventually turned out to be the worst. I was also exhausted, headachy etc.

This time I've got hardly any symptoms - no tiredness, no sore boobs. I may have had the odd cramp, but tbh I've got cystitis as well and a sore hip so I can't tell what my womb is feeling, it's all really messed up down there!

Now I'm worried precisely because of the lack of symptoms... Only got the bfp yesterday, so will have to do a couple more tests over the next few days. Fingers crossed...

mouldygrapes · 14/09/2020 14:43

Right, maybe I should just do the self referral then! If it’s too early like they said to @MindfulMouse I guess they can just wait and contact me later.

Symptoms are so variable today, but I think that’s par for the course!

Hope everyone is doing OK today, welcome to new joiners x

Laurenemma13 · 14/09/2020 15:05

Congrats @fingerscrossed95!
Keeping my fingers crossed for you :)
I'm due round about the 25th May as well and only just found out!

Yorkshiretea3876 · 14/09/2020 16:57

Hi! I'll be joining you all! Yesterday I was 3 days late so I took a test and got a faint line, struggled to sleep so was up at 4am this morning testing again to receive another faint line and then a positive on a digital.
A bit unsure how I feel, obviously excited but terrified/panicky (anxiety) at the same time. My app puts me at 4wks 4 days so due date is roughly 22nd May.
I think I'll be leaving it a few weeks before I contact my GP if it all goes well, when is the correct time to do this?

LS2020 · 14/09/2020 17:24

Hi all,
Adding myself to this thread as I’m due 23/24th depending on the calculator. This is my first child and the first time I’ve ever had a BFP so been v excited!
Only symptoms I’ve had are sore boobs and really bad nausea from 12dpo but body seems to be coping better with it over last couple of days 🙂

Bea11 · 14/09/2020 17:28

Welcome and huge congratulations to all the new joiners! xx

lenny12345 · 14/09/2020 18:17

Hi to everyone!! So sorry I can't keep up with all the messages but just need all your ladies advice!!

I'm so anxious, I've not bled but I've had reduced symptoms today. I just feel like they are gone and my boobs aren't hurting at all! Is everyone else's hurting? Xx

OP posts:
lucymagoo · 14/09/2020 18:53

@lenny12345 yes! I feel like my symptoms come and go daily. Achy hips are gone, boobs feel normal. I've got heartburn today but I get heartburn all the time so doubt it's pregnancy related

LaMadrilena · 14/09/2020 18:59

I've still got the achy hips, but not much else. Boobs ok. Maybe some little cramps, but I don't know how much is down to my imagination. Will test again tomorrow ...

Bea11 · 14/09/2020 19:01

My symptoms definitely come and go too. Awful nausea all day yesterday, today barely anything. A week ago, my achy hips were keeping me awake but this week I've only had it once. I think it's normal and no bleeding is a good sign @lenny12345 xx

Laurenemma13 · 14/09/2020 19:36

@lenny12345 iv3 literally just got a positive yesterday but had symptoms since last week and I'm only 12dpo! I was worried as I had quite a bit of cramping and wasnt sure and then had sore boobs last night and okay now but I tested again this morning and got a much darker line xx

lenny12345 · 14/09/2020 19:52

THANK YOU LADIEE FOR ALL THE REASSURANCE!!! 🥰🥰 just what I need to hear when I'm getting myself worked up. I will hopefully be fine! No bleeding I suppose is a good sign! This group of you all is really helping!! Xx

Sophi123 · 14/09/2020 20:07

Just to add I've been panicking about exactly the same! When I had my CP back in July I had quite a lot of symptoms, but this time I've had hardly anything and certainly don't have very sore boobs. I'm so paranoid especially because don't feel like my FRER line got stronger, although my CB digital did go up from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 weeks so just need to keep telling myself that....

Such a difficult time. Hopefully we'll all be moaning when our symptoms hit in a few weeks time!

Serz88 · 14/09/2020 20:40

@sophi123 you're right we will all be on here moaning haha
Not looking forward to morning sickness but I will take all of it aslong as everything is OK!

lucymagoo · 14/09/2020 20:47

Yeah I get nauseous at literally everything and have done for years so I doubt I'll sail through without being sick. Anyone else back in an office? I dont wait to tell them early but might have to if I get ill

Bea11 · 14/09/2020 21:13

I work in an office but they've only just started asking for volunteers to go back in. I'm using my 6 year old as an excuse to carry on wfh for as long as I can due to childcare issues. I really don't want to tell them I'm pregnant this early on but I also don't want to have to go back to commuting while pregnant! I'm hoping by the time we're all expected to go back, that I'll be far enough along to be able to be honest about why I want to continue to wfh.

RustyCat · 14/09/2020 21:18

My symptoms have mostly gone today too, had a few tummy cramps and a bit of back ache but my main symptom I was having of sore boobs has lifted today but no doubt it will be back again soon, it always is.

I'm still working from home, not in the office yet. Ours is asking for volunteers to go back but I'm swiftly dodging that and when/if it does come to it hopefully I'm far enough along to say to my boss and the management truthfully as to why I don't want to be in office. My boss is incredible though he was amazing during my MC so I'm sure he will be as brilliant for this one. Fingers crossed for sticky baby dust for us all!!

Bl0ndi3 · 14/09/2020 21:25

I'm due 25th based on my rubbish calculations but my last bleed was a miscarriage so it's tough to date myself but either way due end of May xxx

mouldygrapes · 14/09/2020 22:28

Moaning, supporting or just chatting, it’s good to have you guys to talk to! It’s really reassuring.
I have been going into work throughout (key worker) but have 2 weeks off now which I think is a real win, some time to destress and get our heads round it. I’m sure people at work will clock on soon, I’m constantly being asked or people are making comments eg “oh I dreamed you were pregnant”

Serz88 · 15/09/2020 08:00

I work in a school so the only person I've actually told is my head who is lovely. But the guidelines are people can be back at work so don't think me being pregnant will make a difference :/ a friend who works in another school was told she was be wfh as soon as she's 28 weeks?
I'm completing my final year of uni through the open University this year and my due date is just before my final big assignment o.o

mouldygrapes · 15/09/2020 08:36

@Serz88 maybe check what the rules are on the gov.uk website. For me, NHS guidance is work as normal until 28 weeks, after this it recommends non-patient facing work until delivery. I’m not sure how this would work in practice, but I guess we’ll cross that bridge when (if!) we get to it

RustyCat · 15/09/2020 09:33

100% agree it's lovely to have people to moan/chat with who are going though the same as me. Especially as we are all mostly keeping very busy hush 🤣. I'm not planning on telling anyone until I've at least had my first 12wk scan.

Bar my boss as I will need to book the time off to go to the appointment.

Trousersareoverrated · 15/09/2020 11:06

Serz if you look at the NHS info on corona and pregnancy it doesn’t look like there is a lot of extra risk for us - although we are on the moderately clinical vulnerable list as a precaution so being at work as normal should be fine.

We have got friends coming over on Friday for dinner and drinks - they will be very very suspicious if I don’t drink wine! I’m going to have to fake it which I’m quite nervous about.

notleglass · 15/09/2020 12:12

Hi.

I appear to be in the club too, we had an accident!! had a clear blue 2-3 weeks yesterday!! I'm a nurse working directly with patients and I have asthma so I'm really concerned about the virus and having a third baby. My husband isn't too keen on a third. I'm rather conflicted about what's best for my family!! I feel like I need to know the risks to pregnant women with asthma and if I'd be able to work in my role as I do now. But I don't feel like I can tell my work right now!! I feel like I change my mind like the wind about what is the best decision.
