Looking for someone to chat too? I'm due on 22nd of may by the online calculators.

Just wanted to speak with someone who's just found out their expecting too?

Feeling very anxious due to previously having misscarriages

We go from LMP to work out your 12 week scan date and then do your proper date from the scan findings, as in what stage of development and measurements.

I typed a big reply to everyone last night and apparently it didnt send!

I'm balancing on excitement and fear, especially when I get cramps because that's how the MCs started, but my test yesterday was a bit stronger so holding onto that. Will have a reassurance scan about 6-7 weeks I think through the recurrent MC clinic.
My boobs are really sore and gone up 2 sizes already but that can be a side effect of the progesterone (@lenny12345 I'm on 400mg twice a day too) and I'm so tired when I've not really done anything!
Had hyperemesis with my 10yo and nausea with these recent pregnancies but doesnt seem to be affecting me so far, just when I'm hungry. Fingers crossed for everyone.

Oh thanks @SweetpeaOrMarigold, I’ll stick with the LMP date. I am quite worried about boob size increasing, mine are already enormous pre-pregnancy 😩

@Serz88 no, not done a self-referral yet, that’s a job for this week. Have you? I’m still in two minds about where to book as our local hospital has mixed reviews, a lot of women in this area go to the one a bit further away.

@mouldygrapes my DH asked me yesterday ‘will your boobs get massive again?’ 😐

@MindfulMouse that's a bit harsh of the midwife. Perhaps she just worded herself badly. I have self referred to my local midwifery, it's the one I registered to before on my last pregnancy as I thought it's best as they'll have record that I previously lost a baby this year.

Just waiting to hear back from them now, last time it took a few weeks but it was near the start of the pandemic.

@lenny12345 I’m taking 75mg aspirin

@Bea11 I take it in the morning .

Hi everyone! I’m also booking an early scan, for around 7 weeks! Can’t bloody wait. I have hardly any symptoms and am extremely anxious too xxx

@Mrsi2020 yes - I had some ICs left so been doing those but used the last one today. Have a CB digital which I’m saving for next week 🙈

Have to admit I'm not but that's because I'm out of tests 🤣 my last one was the clear blue one and DH will think I'm mad if I buy more tests 😅

Does anyone else have brain fog and forgetfulness? I feel MENTAL. I have hidden the spare keys somewhere safe and cannot for the life of me remember where. And I keep leaving things eg a full cup of tea forgotten in the kitchen and found hours later

I tested this morning and have been worried since as the CB digital has gone up in weeks but FRER looks same/lighter I think? Had chemical in July so really anxious. Never got to 2-3 weeks last time so guess should be happy but is hard to be at moment particularly when don't feel pregnant at all either....

@Sophi123 I would say the later FRER definitely looks darker, so good signs 😊 xx

I was doing alternate days but felt it had gone lighter so did yesterday as well and a frer which is deffo darker when you click into the 2 frers. Going to leave it for now if I still feel like I do, sore boobs, tired and like theres a brick in my uterus from bloating. Will do one at 5 weeks which is wed and probably 6 too. Oh and nausea has appeared this morning but not badly.

@mouldygrapes Oh my goodness yes to the brain fog! I keep forgetting the words for things and called the tv remote control a cardigan yesterday!🤣

mouldygrapes · 14/09/2020 11:19

@Bea11 glad it’s not just me! I was searching the boiler cupboard for the spare keys (still not found them!) and left a cup of tea in there as well. Just glad I found it before my partner did

Yep I left my front door key in the door the other day, luckily my husband got home not long after me and was very puzzled Grin

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if you've got cramps how bad they are. I think I'm due on 21st May. First tested last Wednesday and since then have had cramps on and off. They're all over my lower tummy area ( so not one sided) and they do feel more pully than period pains but I'm worried that a week later what I thought was implantation pain has gone on for too long? Apart from that I've had fatigue and slight nausea and got a 2-3 weeks on a clear blue this morning. I definitely feel pregnant.

After chemical pregnancies and a miscarriage I am so anxious - knicker checking and POAS like a mad woman. I'm so scared that it happens again 😞

Anyone else got cramps and if so what are they like?

Evey43 · 14/09/2020 13:03

@luckylakes I have the exact same thing and I’m also due on the 21st. I can understand why you’re worried but I think that ‘cramps’ like that are just things stretching xx

Report
luckylakes · 14/09/2020 13:16

@Evey43 it's so reassuring to hear that.

This is my third but there's an 8 year gap so I feel like a first time mum again and I'm 42 so I'm worrying about all that brings with it.

With my first two I never gave anything a second though- had no issues and was blissfully unaware that things could go wrong!!

Why is time standing still!!! It's so good to chat to ladies at the same stage x

A few times a day I get fear cramps that make me knicker check. Feels like a period but not as bad as miscarriage cramps, they were awful. They only last 30 seconds or so though I'd say.

luckylakes · 14/09/2020 13:29

Thank you @SweetpeaOrMarigold yes miscarriage pains are unmistakable. I'm trying to enjoy every minute as to even get a BFP is wonderful.

Serz88 · 14/09/2020 13:29

@mouldygrapes I did my referral the day I got the positive test haha. I'm just dreading my OH not being allowed to come with me to things

@luckylakes yes I've had cramps on and off all across my lower stomach. That's why I thought I was coming on but luckily decided to take a test

I have the cramps too, lower tummy doesn't feel like it's on one side or the other. Had them for a few weeks now on and off.

I'm the same, I keep checking when I wipe and locker checking juuuust incase. But as people have said the miscarriage cramps are the worst things I've ever had and completely different to these or normal period cramps.
