Looking for someone to chat too? I'm due on 22nd of may by the online calculators.

Just wanted to speak with someone who's just found out their expecting too?

Feeling very anxious due to previously having misscarriages

@SweetpeaOrMarigold I need to take a leaf out of your book! I've been testing every day even though I know it won't make a difference!!! I need to do every couple of days but the anxiety is real 😂😂

@lucymagoo @Trousersareoverrated I'm sure this is completely normal as @lucymagoo said! I've a friend who said she had this too and all is well x

Good to know. Thanks for the reassurance (although I’m still a bit terrified!). Our wedding was supposed to be this month but got postponed til next October so we decided to get going with TTC as I’m getting on a bit (37)

luckylakes · 12/09/2020 16:17

Oh so glad to have found this thread. I'm 42 and have had a BFP since Wednesday and think I would be due 23-25 May.

Had a MC in September last year and have had some chemical pregnancies over the past year. I'm so scared about miscarrying and I won't believe it until I see a heartbeat at 12 weeks.

I've turned into a crazy testing lady - trying to limit myself to one a day!!! AF is due on Tuesday......

Fingers crossed for everyone here x

lenny12345 · 12/09/2020 16:50

@Trousersareoverrated have my fingers crossed for you!!!

@luckylakes hiyah! Glad you found it tooo!!

It's so nerve wrecking isn't it ! Hopefully we can help keep each other going lol😂

Will you have a early scan or just the standard one at 12 weeks? Xxx

OP posts:
lenny12345 · 12/09/2020 16:52

@luckylakes honestly I'd really recommend paying private and having a early scan at 6-7 weeks. Then you KNOW. Either way. It feels way more manageable even if it's bad news if you get me!! Fingers tightly crossed it's not for the whole group of us here though!! Xxxx

OP posts:
luckylakes · 12/09/2020 18:11

I've booked a private scan for 8 weeks (last time I had one at 6 weeks then a miscarriage at 11 weeks but the foetus only measured 7 weeks) you're right it's well worth the money x

Because of my age I'll have the NIPT test too.

Mrsi2020 · 12/09/2020 21:46

@luckylakes I really hope this scan goes better for you. Just a couple of weeks to hold out! That's what I keep thinking to myself. We all know either way then!!!

@Mrsi2020 morning!! They are amazing positives. !!!!!

Are you on any medications this time? I am on progesterone and aspirin and I'm sure this was the one going problem I had!!!

I got my 2-3 weeks this morning and I could cry lol. In perfect timing to!! xx

Mrsi2020 · 13/09/2020 07:41

@lenny12345 that’s amazing. Just aspirin here so fx, first time using it.

Are any of you wearing fitbit’s? What’s your rhr doing? Xxx

lenny12345 · 13/09/2020 08:13

Is anyone having any symptoms yet? Xx

OP posts:
lucymagoo · 13/09/2020 09:58

Just sore boobs for me, I did have achy hips the past two days which worried me as I'm only 4 weeks and it seemed so early for that. They seem to have gone this morning thankfully

Sophi123 · 13/09/2020 10:13

No real symptoms for me yet. Bit of cramping, but no sore boobs (keep squeezing to check!) 4+1/4+3 depending on which app I look at! I'm trying to hold off testing. Got a nice strong FRER at 12dpo on Friday and a CB digital 1-2 weeks. Never managed to get above that next time so thinking will try if i can to hold off a few more days in the hope of getting 2-3 weeks next time I test!

lucymagoo · 13/09/2020 10:20

I’ve been doing line progression but I think I’ll stop now as I know there’s no guarantee even with strong lines. I know if one looks slightly lighter I’ll freak out and it will play on my mind!

Evey43 · 13/09/2020 10:22

Hi all mind if I join? Congratulations to you all😊

I found out yesterday I’m pregnant with my second, this time through IVF so I’m a bit more apprehensive this time around. As it’s IVF the clinic will do a scan in a couple of weeks to check all is ok 🤞. My app says I’m 4W+2 today and due 21st May but my first went well over her due date.

I do find sharing experiences on these forums supportive as have been on groups of IVF.

Xx

RustyCat · 13/09/2020 14:57

Hi, can I join? I'm 4wks 5 days due around 16th May according to the NHS due date calculator! How are you lovely ladies doing?

I'm having some symptoms mostly achy boobs and eating more than I usually do 🤣 xx

Evey43 · 13/09/2020 15:14

@RustyCat same! And I can feel the dreaded tiredness creeping in!

lenny12345 · 13/09/2020 15:47

Awh so lovely to hear everyone's stories and your all helping me to stop feeling anxious as I seem to be having achey hips too and I also can feel the tiredness creeping up I think! I felt full of energy this morning and I end shopping and now I'm very tired and DP is currently dragging me round car show rooms!

Off home soon to relax! What has everyone else been up to today? I keep reminding myself only 2 more weeks In till those of us who have 6 weeks reassurance scans can find out! I really do need that reassurance as the anxiety is starting to creep up now!!

OP posts:
lenny12345 · 13/09/2020 15:49

@lucymagoo Awh that's sounds really positive. Can't keep up with everyone. Did you say you was taking progesterone? I have ever so slight sore boobs but think it's the progesterone! Soo exciting isn't it!!

OP posts:
lenny12345 · 13/09/2020 15:50

@Evey43 congratulations ! How was your ivf? I was actually having some testing done with ivf on the cards. I really hope this works out for you as I can just imagine the long journey it's been 💞💞💞 just think if your body's done it before it can certainly do it again!! Xx

OP posts:
lenny12345 · 13/09/2020 15:51

@RustyCat welcome of course you can join and glad to hear your having symptoms! Your be able to tell us all what we have to look forward to as you seem to be a week ahead of most of us!! Is this your first? Xx
