End September babies

Hello! So I'm 32+4 with my second, a girl this time 😊 the whole pregnancy has gone quick as been running round after my toddler, though now I know I'm almost there it's going so slowly! So looking for some buddies to compare notes and pass the time with! Though don't know why I want it to hurry up as I know too well the pain and sleepless nights ahead 🤣 just I think uncomfortable enough now to want her out! Everywhere pretty swollen already, hips hurt and wake me up, I pee all the time even in the night, tired and get some braxton hicks. How are others doing?

@Spark27 You’ve inspired me! I was dreading tomorrow’s full on rainy day with DS, but we shall now be baking and pesto and mozzarella scones are top of the list 😋

I still am not sure who’s having DS, should labour not happen until being induced. DS really isn’t happy with my mum still and I know my sister is perfect, but she’s got her own family to see to. I know she’ll be happy to have him though. We shall have to see how things go. I’m rambling!

How are we all feeling?
I'm starting to panic about tomorrow's induction now. I was hoping body would be feeling a bit more "ready" 😬

Feeling a bit rubbish tonight. Getting loads of solid Braxton Hicks, and got a really aching back. Very uncomfortable.

@MrsK89 Have you been induced before? I had the pessary last time and it was fine.

Sorry you’re feeling rubbish @Spark27. I did make the scones in the end, so if I go into labour tonight I’ll be thanking you!

Felt a bit uncomfortable all day, but also feel like I haven’t stopped. I’m sick of second guessing everything now. At least me and DH have been saying “this time next week”

I was induced first baby and I had the drip. I didnt like the 0-100 intensity feeling.
This is my 4th after 2 spontaneous deliveries.
Currently getting stronger bh every 10 mins

Yes I thought the pessary was a bit intense to start with, contractions every 3-4 minutes to start with. Hopefully these BH will come of something!

39+5 and still not feeling much, he feels a bit lower but that's it. I'm going to the gym now to do some squats, apparently it opens the pelvis up and it's good to keep moving 😄 so if any of you ladies see a whale by the squat rack at the gym you know it's me! 🙋🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♂️

You’d have to get me anywhere near a gym first @Spark27 😂

40+6 today and with each day, DH is looking more and more appealing...!

Dont go mentioning me and the gym in the same sentence. So not my thing 🤣. Very impressed with anyone who has the energy to go at all, let alone now.

I actually had a really good nights sleep. Woke a few times to wee but got back to see quickly. And DD didnt wake me til 0700. Given DH a lie in til 1000. Only so I can be smug all day and then claim a lie in tomorrow. Its definitely a bartering system now 😅 xx

Oh sorry I’m now fully awake and see that was @SunStruck! And at 5:30am?!

Saturdays are my lie in, so it’s nice to have the bed to myself for an hour!

Looking like a rainy weekend here, so going to use the time to absolutely finish what needs doing and definitely try to resist the temptation to repack my hospital bag!

All good here. In the ward waiting for midwife to talk through the induction plan, so nothing as of yet. I think they will be a while, not a midwife in sight x

Climbing the walls here and im only 40+1. With lockdown etc. I cant relax until babys here, blooming covid got my anxiety sky high..convinced ill be told to isolate 24 days just before I do go into labour. Midwife appointment booked for Tuesday for a sweep if still no signs. My first kid was 1 week late and I was such a grumpy cow lol x

Sweep on Thursday doesn’t appeared to have done anything although I did just lose my mucas plug (undeniably haha) 😂

Also 39+5 - Still have a feeling baby will keep me waiting right until the end though (max they’ll let me go is 40+12)

Nothing much to report as usual. Lots of movement this evening and backache, but unless something happens overnight, she’s definitely waiting to be served for notice on Wednesday.

Waited all day for induction to start. They gve me the gel around 2am and since then I've been getting contractions every 3-5 mins
Trying but struggling to go back to sleep x

I’m 41 weeks today. My hips seems to have given up being painful at night and just gone numb. 3 more days

Mucus plug still going away... how is there so much - been coming away since 2pm yesterday and still coming and I’d say at least 6 tablespoons of the stuff ... not actually measuring don’t worry haha

Morning all, well on the 23rd September our little man arrived into the world. A gruelling and traumatic 27 hour Labour ending up in emergency section was not what anyone expected but he is here and doin well. Me I am In alot of pain but getting there slowly.

Thanks guys. They gave me a sweep at around 7 and as soon as I had that, I was having contractions 1-2mins apart. Got myself to 4cm on one dose of paracetamol then they let me go to labour ward at 11. Waters broke as soon as I sat in the room and baby was born at 12pm. Had gas and air from 11 till birth.
Both doing well. Although I'm exhausted xx

Hi ladies.. how is everyone?

DUE DATE today! Absolutely nothing happening though, I also think he'll be an October baby at this rate 🤣 some shooting period like pains from time to time but no contractions, no loss of plug, no trickling of fluid... 🙄

We have a scan tomorrow and examination, what needs to happen for them to be able to do a sweep, do you know? Will I have to be dilated to a certain point or something else?
