@Freddie15VES I just had a phone consultation with my doctor but have an early scan booked for 6th aug for reassurance. U?

Freddie15VES · 24/07/2020 20:11

@2020wish I haven’t called yet. I think I will on Monday, after the chemical I’m apprehensive just to make sure it lasts!

2020wish · 24/07/2020 20:12

I’m completely the same. I wouldn’t have called them only my doctor urgently referred me so it sorta pushed the process a bit quicker than what I was planning.

Getting slight tingling sensations around lower abdo and like a slight shooting pain feeling around my belly button. So anxious

Nottherealslimshady · 24/07/2020 20:15

Hi I got my positive today, app says due date would be 1st April. But I've had some spotting and cramping today so nervous its AF on the way. AF was due either wednesday or today depending which app you want to believe. Did anyone else have spotting around this time?

Kristy17 · 24/07/2020 20:20

Hello can I join please? Congratulations to all. I got my BFP 10DPO and I’m now 13DPO so fingers crossed. Based on my last period my due date will be 31st March, but based on when I ovulated I think it will be more than likely moved to early April, based on ovulation online its days 3rd April.

I have a 20 month old so this will be our second 😊

Serethiel · 24/07/2020 20:27

Hello Smile

This is my first post! I was part of another forum but it's way too quiet. Then I found this :)

Anyway! I got a ever so slight bfp on Wednesday around 7dpo - I know.....I thought it most probably was an evap. I posted it online and others said they saw it too. A few more faint squinter lines on cheap one step tests and a FRER which clearly showed 2 lines. Now I am here! Still not due my AF for 6 days based on my usual 35 day cycles. But I had a MC in March and since then my cycles have been a lot shorter (28 days) so I actually have no idea when my AF would be due.

So, yeah, that's my story ha!

Due April 4th according to my dodgy dates

NatJayne87 · 24/07/2020 20:36

Can i tentatively join? Im currently 4+2 and found out Monday, im a lot less shocked now, but instead the worry about eaely loss is creeping in. This is my first pregnancy so it all just feels crazy. Based on when i ovulated i have a due date if 31st March 2021 x

NatJayne87 · 24/07/2020 22:06

@RaspberryInAMelon Im based in Gloucestershire also, 20 minutes from Gloucester though i used to live in Gloucester itself. Small world but nice to know there is someone else close x

NatJayne87 · 24/07/2020 22:08

@RasperryInAMelon realised i tagged you wrong above! X

Kliz92 · 25/07/2020 01:26

2020wish · 25/07/2020 02:23

@Kliz92 me!! And when I do sleep I’m having upsetting vivid dreams wakening me up

RasperryInAMelon · 25/07/2020 03:04

Hello 3am crew... 🤦🏼‍♀️

I do like hearing people's TTC stories. It's oddly reassuring knowing that there are other people in the same boat - the worries aren't often talked about much.

@2020wish I had EMCS with DD at 42weeks last time, would love for a calm home or water VBAC this time but I really need to do some research into it all... lucky I have time for middle of the night reading eh!?... 😂

Congrats @Freddie15VES @Kristy17 @Serethiel @NatJayne87

I work in Cheltenham but am on the Thornbury side of the area - have only been here a short while so would be lovely to make some local friends especially mummy ones! Sounds as though we're due around the same time too!

2020wish · 25/07/2020 07:24

@RasperryInAMelon I had the same with my daughter. So I dunno if I am going to request a planned c section this time

disneyhopeful17 · 25/07/2020 07:57

Hi Guys, Can I join too?

I got my first BFP on Wednesday saying 1-2 weeks and then tested again today where it says 2-3 weeks.

This is my first BFP after almost 3 years TTC we had a first fertility appointment back in June to discuss possible interventions and then got our very happy surprise this week.

I'm 31 and I'm so excited but also terrified until I get to that first scan

It would be great to have somewhere to talk through worries and symptoms. Only ones I've had so far is tiredness and sore boots but as I'm on 4+5 I don't expect more for a week or so.

Due date calculator says 27th March but with a long history of very late babies in my family I'm expecting April :)

Congratulations on everyone else's BFPs xx

Kristy17 · 25/07/2020 08:02

Thank you @RasperryInAMelon

I’m near Southampton. We’ve just taken our 20 month old daughters Sides off her cot a few weeks back and she’s always stayed in the bed until we’ve collected her, but the last couple of days her new thing is to come find us and wake us up 🙈. Saturdays supposed to be my lay in day so I’m sleep, the OH gets the lay in on Sundays.

I had a waterbirth with my daughter at 3 days overdue so I was incredibly lucky. It was amazing but also definitely not the most relaxing thing as the midwives didn’t believe me when I said I was ready to push until her head popped out and I therefore tore. I’ll probably go for the same this time, but also considering a home birth as we have no family close by so I figure it’s easier regarding childcare, though my OH is currently against that so we’ll see. Haven’t really thought about it yet.

Kristy17 · 25/07/2020 08:03

@disneyhopeful17 what a wonderful story. Congratulations on your BFP, you must be over the moon!

NatJayne87 · 25/07/2020 08:11

@Kliz, @2020wish, @RasperryInAMelon
I second the sleep issues! I fall asleep okay but wake up early hours and then just seem to stay awake for hours! Im shattered! Any of you struggling with your mouth? My gums and teeth hurt and now have ulcers on my tongue, i had no idea this was a thing, but then i have no idea about anything as this will be my first! @RasperryInAMelon, im only based in Newent so just under an hour from you. x

JTB123 · 25/07/2020 08:15

Hi gals!
Hope you don't mind if I join!
Find it really useful having people to talk to on here!
I got my BFP on Thursday after just 4 weeks of TTC - super lucky, I was expecting a long haul! Confirmed with a clean blue digital yesterday, NHS calculator is giving me a due date of 1st April ❤️

No symptoms at all!
Xx

Tipsygoalie · 25/07/2020 08:18

Morning ladies,
Hoping to join in. AF was due on the 21st and had a BFP on the 22nd. I am 32 and this will be our first. We have been TTC for a year but had only just started using OPK to track ovulation as I have long cycles.
Dont think it's quite hit me yet Grin
I definitely felt different in the last week or so, my boobs are hurting and I have lost my appetite (which is very unusual for me!) and the bloating feeling is unreal :/.
Congratulations on everyone's BPF

2020wish · 25/07/2020 08:18

@disneyhopeful17 aww congrats!! What a lovely surprise after so long!! Welcome to the thread

@Kristy17 lovely story! Home birth and water birth sound amazing!

@NatJayne87 I’ve noticed my back tooth and gums starting to hurt . I hope it doesn’t progress as the dentists aren’t seeing anyone atm

My af is officially late today! It’s been a long 10’days since I found my BFP. I’m 17dpo now. Anyone else still testing. My line progression is coming on nicely.. my last three pregnancy’s never got this dark. I also took a LH strip out of curiosity ask I hear people saying hcg can be picked up on an LH test

Due april 2021

Kristy17 · 25/07/2020 08:20

@JTB123 congratulations. I’ve also been similarly lucky, had my Copper coil out 2nd July and got my first BFP on Tuesday. We’ve just had to postpone our wedding until next September so we’re on a time limit as I don’t want to be heavily pregnant at our wedding so I’m feeling extremely lucky and not sure I believe it yet.

2020wish · 25/07/2020 08:26

@Kristy17 I’ve pushed my wedding back until 2020 for my little bean also... so I understand they time constraints lol

2020wish · 25/07/2020 08:26

2022 lol

NatJayne87 · 25/07/2020 08:27

@2020wish i took another clearblue date at 15dpo and it still said 1-2 weeks, this freaked me out and made me think this pregnancy wasnt going to stick, what I've since read is that they are so unpredictable and it he to be the first urine of the day to be accurate and although it was, i had been up early in the morning to uninate and dont know if this would have affected it. So atm i hsve decided not to test again, i still have sore boobs which feel like they are getting worse by the day and my gums hurt so as long as i dont see any bleeding any my symptoms continue then im thinking im all good and am not going to stress myself out...of course i say that now mind, im up in Newcastle for the weekend so that may change when i get home lol

Congratulations to all the new BFPers and welcome to the threat!

2020wish · 25/07/2020 08:30

@NatJayne87 1-2 weeks at 15dpo can be perfectly normal as it’s from date of conception which is correct as you would only be 1-2 weeks pregnant. Don’t let it worry you. Xx
