I managed a slice of toast with marmite this morning. I'm bloody shattered and am going to miss my eightybillion cups of coffee!

Last time was not like this - I feel like all I'm doing is moaning already!

Got a real watery mouth, almost metallic tasting and I can't stop having hot flushes. I've had a bit of a gippy tummy since Monday and my back is in bits! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Roll on the next 8 months! 😂

RasperryInAMelon · 24/07/2020 09:00

I met a bunch of ladies after DD was born (was a May 2017 group) - it has its moments but for the most part everyone is super amazing.

I've been lucky enough that 9 of us splintered off on our own and have a messenger group that we've spoken in everyday for 2.5 years - we're dotted up and down the country and have managed to have a camping trip with our families, girls nights and BBQs

Some good comes of them 🍀

kwastell · 24/07/2020 09:05

Can I join you all? Had faint lines for the past few days and this mornings is much stronger, so feeling more confident about it. Am due 3 April according to my app.

Had 3 previous miscarriages, last one was in June. So am a bit nervous, but am feeling optimistic about this one.

Congratulations on all your bfps! ✨

whiteolive · 24/07/2020 09:20

I feel you, also nervous about joining one and even blooming ringing them doctors as I feel I’m tempting fate! But what will be, will be. Stressing isn’t going to solve any problems so I’m sure it’s better to talk about it than bottle it up x

It seems a few of us have had recent miscarriages, fingers crossed for everyone. I don’t think it’s talked about half as much as what it should.

The group you joined sounds great. Maybe I’ll set one up and as and when people feel comfortable joining, join. It does make it easier then following a thread

romaniac123 · 24/07/2020 09:32

Thanks @Kliz92 Smile
I’ve now had my first scan postponed to 15th September as 7th August was too early apparently, and I’m in holiday for 2 weeks at end of August.

I’m feeling exhausted all the time, missing coffee, have sore boobs, feel like I’ve got very mild period pain, complaining all the time Grin. Also my allergies are playing up and the only antihistamine that works for me is Benadryl and apparently it’s a no-no, so I’m avoiding it, but it’s hard...

Also don’t have much of an appetite.

Bet you’re sorry you asked Wink

whiteolive · 24/07/2020 09:33

@kwastell congratulations! Hopefully this will be the one. Good news that it has happened so quickly again for you

mammii · 24/07/2020 10:42

Hey all! I hope you don't mind me joining? I literally JUST got my positive test this morning approx' 9dpo, after the second month of TTC. I feel very fortunate for it to have happened this easily, especially as I'm breastfeeding my nearly 7 month old. I'm due AF this weekend, so praying she doesn't rear her ugly head! Also, just wondered what you guys think... the first cheapy Amazon tear has THE faintest line, the Clearblue was definitely more obvious but still quite faint, but then the digital one clearly says pregnant. I should take that as pregnant, right? Any ideas why it would be so faint on the other tests?

Congratulations to you all! Can't wait to start this journey together 😃

@mammii those lines are normal for how along you are. Congrats x

Kliz92 · 24/07/2020 11:39

Hi @mammii i would say congratulations is in order! My first 3 tests were soo light and i was unsure at first bit now they are dsrk and the line is there immediately! Test again in a few days. I called the health visitor today she said the doctor will do all the referring so i dont have too. So now its a waiting game.

Thank you for the reassurance! It's very early days for me, so it's no wonder the line will be faint at the moment. I will probably check every day with my cheapies to see the line getting darker. When do you think you'll be due? X
Kliz92 · 24/07/2020 13:41

@mammii ive tested about 8 times 3 clearblue and the rest ic 😂 i just cant help it, but now ive ran out 😂. End of march i should be due. How about you?? Xx

2020wish · 24/07/2020 14:00

I tested every day until af was due lol seeing the line progression was really nice lol I took a clear blue weeks indicator on day of af being due and got 2-3 weeks which means 4-5 weeks. So going to take another one of those next weeks in hope I get my 3+ but I’ve stopped the cheapies x

mammii · 24/07/2020 14:21

@Kliz92 totally get that! It's weirdly addictive 😂 it can be so hard to actually believe it when you get a BFP! So pleased for you! I should be due 4th April 😄 were you ttc for long? Xx

mammii · 24/07/2020 14:23

@2020wish you sound very similar to me! It's really reassuring to see the line become darker and darker. I've also ordered some Clearblue weeks indicator tests, which arrive tomorrow! When will you be due? X

Birnam · 24/07/2020 14:55

Hey all! I did one FRER test the other day, and got a pretty clear line. Currently waiting for CB tests to arrive from Amazon tomorrow when I plan to do one of those and then finally tell my husband! Apparently I would be due on 2nd April.

Feeling very strange about it all. This is our very first month TTC so if all goes well from here, then it's happened much quicker than I expected!

Anyone else feeling really weird, the sickness feeling isn't a normal sickness feeling, does that make sense to anyone? Just feel a bit absent too! Those seem to be my symptoms. Also very bloated!!

2020wish · 24/07/2020 15:13

@mammii my due date online is 31march so I’m borderline March/April. With my first daughter I went two weeks over due but ended in emergency csection so unsure if I will have a c section this tile around and be mid March or go over and be April lol

Freddie15VES · 24/07/2020 15:23

Hello!

Can I join? Found out 3 days ago and due in April 😊 first baby, third cycle TTC. We had a chemical pregnancy in May but I have been testing everyday and my lines are getting darker and darker! Be lovely to share with you ladies! Only real symptoms I’ve been having is tiredness, period like cramping and I did actually have implantation bleeding which is actually what made me test! Also boobs a getting ginormous 🥴 xxx

2020wish · 24/07/2020 15:26

@Freddie15VES congrats!!! How many dpo are u?

Freddie15VES · 24/07/2020 15:57

@2020wish mines a weird one because I came on my period on the 2nd, lasted 5 days but then hit peak ovulation only 5 days later! So technically I’m 12 DPO I think. With my chemical pregnancy I tested way too early so told myself I’d only test when I was certain. How many are you? Xxx

2020wish · 24/07/2020 16:01

@Freddie15VES I’m 16dpo today, found out when I was 7dpo so very nervous Still. I tested everyday and lines kept getting stronger and weeks indicator is saying 2-3 weeks on clear blue so I’ve decided to stop testing now and maybe will do one more weeks indicators next week hoping to get my 3+

Freddie15VES · 24/07/2020 17:25

@2020wish I’m sure you’ll be fine, try not to let it stop you from enjoying the pregnancy. That’s how I’m thinking. If your lines are getting darker then you should be absolutely fine. Mine never got dark, just very faint and stayed faint. Yes I’m the same testing too much can just make you overthink everything. When are you seeing you doctor?
