mammii · 25/07/2020 19:15

@Kristy17 ahh, it's so nice to have that support and watch your babies grow isn't it 🥰

And glad I'm not on my own with the tearfulness! I thought I was going mad today 🙈😂

2020wish · 25/07/2020 19:23

I’m still in my baby month group from 10 years ago!!! Message them everyday!! They are all from America tho and I can never meet up with them

MrsFern · 25/07/2020 19:24

All being well I will be welcoming our third around the second of April xx congratulations all

mammii · 25/07/2020 20:05

@Serethiel if you click "reply", you should see a paper clip icon. Just click that and you should be able to attach a photo that way 😊

mammii · 25/07/2020 20:05

@2020wish ah that's a shame you're so far away! Is your other baby group through Mumsnet or another forum?

mammii · 25/07/2020 20:06

@MrsFern congratulations to you! Smile

2020wish · 25/07/2020 20:08

@mammii I think it was through what to expect. I’m excited to have a uk one if this little bean is my rainbow x

mammii · 25/07/2020 20:18

@2020wish ahh yes, I've heard of What to expect. Oh, I really hope your little one sticks. 💗

mammii · 25/07/2020 20:23

Is anyone breastfeeding at all? Or has anyone been pregnant and breastfeeding at the same time in the past?

I'm still breastfeeding my 7 month old and unsure whether to continue. I do enjoy the closeness, and I know she does. It's also very convenient in some ways. But unsure to continue in case I were to miscarry. I don't have a history of miscarriage, but just wouldn't want to risk anything

Serethiel · 25/07/2020 21:45

Serethiel · 25/07/2020 21:51

Still no idea how to share a pic. I dont seem to have the paperclip on the website! Never mind

mammii · 25/07/2020 22:31

@Serethiel get the app if you can, it's super easy on here 😊

RasperryInAMelon · 25/07/2020 22:34

Evening all!

Been a busy day visiting family today - feels weird that we haven't told our parents yet (we did straight away last time, but it's their birthdays this month so will surprise them at approx 8-10 weeks)

Feeling super irritable this evening, I'm exhausted but just want to eat and fidget...

Will have a look for the FB group!

Serethiel · 25/07/2020 22:36

I did download the app and I posted twice but they never actually posted....bit confused by it!

RasperryInAMelon · 25/07/2020 22:39

@whiteolive can you post a screenshot of the FB page? I can't see it come up in my groups?

Serethiel · 25/07/2020 22:39

I also couldnt find the group.

As it’s the first time I’ve been pregnant, and honestly we have very few friends who have had a baby, I don’t know where else to go to ask people for advice! Did you find it helpful telling parents early on the first time?

My partner and I live in East London and we’re 28 and 29. We’ve been together for 3.5 years. Most of our friends are just now getting into engagement territory so I think they’re all thinking kids are a good few years away. I have suspected PCOS but cause of coronavirus haven’t had an ultrasound to confirm, and I had an old (6 years Blush ) implant in my arm taken out 6 weeks ago. Turns out the implant must have still been doing something cause we got pregnant straight away, which has shocked us a bit by the speed but I’m still so pleased and grateful, just getting my head round it.

Congratulations ladies :)
I am also due in April 2021, done 2 tests this week and both positive. Everything feels so surreal and I go from being super excited to feeling totally scared.
Haven't got any early pregnancy symptoms yet except of mild cramping and my boobs are slightly sore.
How are you guys feeling? Any symptoms yet?
I worked it out and I'm only 4 weeks and 3 days lol.

mrsmummy1111 · 26/07/2020 08:11

Hi everyone, can I join?
I'm 4+2 with baby #2. Due date around 2nd April currently but I know that's likely to change.
We have a scan booked for 3 weeks time when I'm 7+2 just to make sure everything's ok. It took us 6 months to conceive this baby (first baby was conceived first month of trying) so almost feeling like it's too good to be true! Also have absolutely ZERO symptoms which is freaking me out, but trying not to dwell on it.
Hope you're all feeling ok

JTB123 · 26/07/2020 09:38

@mrsmummy1111
I'm 4/5 weeks and have 0 symptoms also, like nothing! So please don't worry! I'm sure they will kick in soon x

mrsmummy1111 · 26/07/2020 09:51

Thanks @JTB123 ! Glad to know I'm not the only one.
With my son I don't remember having many symptoms early on, but the reason I knew I was pregnant was because my boobs were killing me. Whereas this time there's SLIGHT tenderness on one side but if I didn't know I was pregnant I'd never notice.
I did an FRER 9DPO which was a blazing positive, then got my CB digital BFP at 10DPO which seems to be slightly earlier than others so that does reassure me slightly. We are on hols atm and the crazy lady in me wants to buy another pg test out here and do it on the sly, but the rational part of my brain luckily is overriding that and telling me to shut up and enjoy my holiday!

RasperryInAMelon · 26/07/2020 10:11

@JTB123 same here - With DD I came off the pill, used condoms and then stopped using them when we got married on the Saturday, went on honeymoon and came back pregnant.

I think I assumed it would happen quick this time round too, but we've been TTC since December.

I've had CB digi and normal CB - but like @mrsmummy1111 I still want to keep POAS 🙈

@RasperryInAMelon This happened to us! I had the coil taken out 3 weeks before my wedding and we found out we were pregnant 3 days before the wedding. So very much "planned" but also a total shock!

This time around we have been trying since Feb, and although I'd geared myself up for it taking a little longer this time, it was still heartbreaking every month when I got my period. I also convinced myself I was never gonna get pregnant again. Totally irrational but there ya go!
