@Workingmama1
They did check my ovaries but there wasn't one sign of a pregnancy, no sac or nothing.
I'm supposed to be 5 weeks I think (I was on the pill so not sure)
God that empty ultrasound photo will stay with me ☹️
Haven't been offered any follow up, they said I will bleed eventually x

megmcc93 · 20/08/2020 09:20

@stitchandangel so sorry to hear this ☹️ does sound very strange - maybe you are much earlier than you thought. Hope you're as ok as you can be. Take care x

Apricotta · 20/08/2020 13:39

So sorry @stitchandangel xxx

Serethiel · 20/08/2020 16:28

@Stitchandangel please keep us updated!

Hope everyone is well

Apricotta · 20/08/2020 18:16

@Serethiel think hormones are swinging at the moment... Anxiety seems to be setting in but trying to keep it at bay. Going to be a fun ride 🤦🏻‍♀️

Apricotta · 21/08/2020 11:11

Stronger nausea wk 6 day 4 for me. Not been sick yet. On the positive side got my video chat mtg with maternity team end of the month and scan appointment for end of September! ❤️ How's everyone else? Xx

glastogal · 21/08/2020 16:39

I feel hungover in the afternoons and am dizzy when I get up but otherwise getting off pretty lightly with symptoms - I'm sorry you're having a rough day @Apricotta

Workingmama1 · 21/08/2020 16:46

@glastogal hungover is exactly how I would describe how I feel! Mild nausea and feeling a bit "foggy". Gagging occasionally when I brush my teeth and just don't feel like eating anything...

supersonicginandtonic · 21/08/2020 17:39

@glastogal oh my goodness, I have literally just been saying to my partner, when he came home from work, that I've felt funny again this afternoon, tired, nauseous and a little dizzy. Isn't it strange?
I keep going hot too, is anybody else feeling this?

Apricotta · 21/08/2020 19:45

@glastogal yes it's sooooo much like a hangover! It felt very mild hangover style for the week up until today and a bit stronger today, especially once I woke up so think it might be blood sugar related. It's eased off this evening. My light-headedness/dizziness has eased a little, but still rears a bit after I've got up to do something. I think blood pressure lowers in the early stages. Not been hot though xx

bh2210 · 21/08/2020 20:31

Glad I'm not the only one feeling weird! I'm 6+2.

for me it's dizziness, a tight head feeling of tiredness rolled in with motion sickness. It is on and off in the day but seems to ease up around 3pm and then I'm golden all evening to the point I'm wide awake by bedtime and lay there listening to audiobooks.
Went to the shops after work today and had to come back and lay down! Just as well I purchased snacks!
Salt and vinegar crisps are helping and vinegar with nearly all meals - I snacked on cornichons at 0930 this morning.

bh2210 · 21/08/2020 20:34

Oh and can we talk boobs.... I have already gone up more than a cup size (at 6wks) and they ache and hurt SO much. My sister went from an F to a JJ so I guess I may do similar..... 🤦🏻‍♀️

megmcc93 · 21/08/2020 20:54

@bh2210 My boobs are SO sore! I've not noticed a change in size yet - they are already massive (G) so I'm really hoping they don't grow anymore 😂😂

bh2210 · 21/08/2020 21:09

@megmcc93 sending soothing thoughts your way!

I also started at G and have just ordered an H. 😬
let's wait and see! at least I'll have my own life belt if I go swimming..!

megmcc93 · 21/08/2020 21:12

@bh2210 same to you!!
Oh gosh, I read the other day that your boobs can increase 3 cup sizes... bras are so expensive too 😂

Serethiel · 21/08/2020 21:54

Guys....before my son I was a 32C. Since that pregnancy I've remained a 34E. I'm now in a 36E and that's feeling tight so defo need to buy a bigger size!

Also I'm 8 weeks today! Nausea still here but sea bands seemed to have dulled it down a bit but not completely. Tiredness is still overwhelming. I struggle to prepare food and cant stand opening the fridge for all the food smells! Yuck. I run a small business pouring and selling wax melts which is really difficult right now!

megmcc93 · 21/08/2020 22:05

@Serethiel have you spoken to your doctor about the nausea? I spoke to mine on Wednesday as I couldn't really eat without being sick, expecting him to say it was just normal and to ride it out, but he prescribed me something for it straight away! Its only helping a small amount but it's still better.

Avril2020 · 21/08/2020 22:35

You could be describing me to a tee. Feel like I've been out on the Gin cocktails. Feel swimmy most of the day. Light head when I get up quickly. This evening feel lots better after eating quite a few slices of pizza and a fun size crunchie but not 100%. Making summer fruits squash for my children makes me feel sick. With my first child I would eat and drink anything orange all of the time. Frozen orange Capri sun drinks, orange and lemonade by the truck load. Now when I walk past our fruit bowl I wretch at the sight and smell of the oranges 🤢 but have had salt and vinegar crisps every day this week. I'm a teacher and getting a bit nervous about going back and smelling the lunches cooking, serving and scraping plates in the dining hall. Re boobs I can't stand underwired bras at the mo. Partly uncomfortable boobs but also I feel bloated a lot so they don't sit right. Amazing something the size of a blueberry can knock the stuffing out of us so much. But worth it. Midwife video call on Sunday. Lovely reading posts from everyone this evening xx

AntiHop · 22/08/2020 00:01

Hi all
I'm 7 weeks. For the last couple of days I've become ridiculously bloated. I look like I'm 5 months pregnant and my clothes feel uncomfortable. It's really stressing me out as I'm starting a new job soon and I need to be able to wear my work clothes!

Anyone else experiencing this?

Elspethelf · 22/08/2020 04:08

@SabrinaGx @Furbabymum15 We are due date buddies!! According to the calculator im due April 19. So far my symptoms are so mild, I just feel premenstrual. Sore boobs, fatigue, mild cramping. The only odd symptom is that I'm a bit weepy. I'm crying over everything. I also read nausea can start in week 6 so I'm trying to enjoy not feeling it this week.

Elspethelf · 22/08/2020 04:15

@amelie1234 I'm 38, pregnant with baby number one, and EDD April 19 - I'll be nervous along with you :)

Apricotta · 22/08/2020 09:26

Congratulations everyone new 🎉💐❤️!!! Eugh.... Woke up early felt sick so got up necked an actimel and went back to bed. Woke up hungry just now, really hungry and made honey on toast.... Makes me want to vom!!! But I'm hungry 😭😂😭😂 I'm taking this as a good sign... 😩

SabrinaGx · 22/08/2020 10:28

@Elspethelf congratulations :) x nice to have another due date buddy!

I'm the same, minimal symptoms but did get a wave of nausea yesterday afternoon. I've also been getting like a rust coloured discharge when I wipe. Its been like this the last 4 days! I don't really know what to do, I told the EPU but the lady I spoke to said they don't deal with stuff like that. I never had an implantation bleed but isn't this too late anyway as I'm just over 5 weeks now? Has anyone else had this?? Xx
