@clueless987 oh I'm so sorry 😢 you must be devastated. Sorry I wasn't around much yesterday on here to respond. Hope you've got someone 'in real life' not just MN who can take care of you Xxx

@ladyfarmer I'm so sorry to read about your history. That properly sucks. Have you got anyone close enough to you who you can chat with? If not for around £50 I strongly suggest getting a counsellor for an hour for a phone call or video chat to explore how you feel and to get strategies in place for whatever happens.

@83Mimi 13wks?!?? Do you not get any video chat? I was reading that certain blood tests are needed by 10wks! Can you ring your GP and say your not happy with the level of care (no offence but re your age and the fact its a first time pregnancy) and say you have major concerns and want the tests at the right time.

83Mimi · 19/08/2020 09:47

@Apricotta I get a phone call (90 mins) in week 10. It just feels weird not seeing a real person - but i suppose that how things are now with COVID.

I had a google and I think the only blood test they would do earlier than the 12-14 scan/tests is for HIV, chlamydia etc which i only had done a few weeks ago at the fertility clinic. The good thing about having been through the early stages of fertility support is I have had tests for some risk factors eg STIs, fibroids, etc and all were clear Smile

I just want a test to tell me everything will be 100% ok - but that's not how things work!

Angel786786 · 19/08/2020 10:18

Smile yes have my hubby his a star offering full support and care. Have doctors too and midwife, my dad so count myself lucky xxx

Apricotta · 19/08/2020 10:41

Congratulations @Angel786786 ! Xxx
@83Mimi that's good then Xx

ladyfarmer · 19/08/2020 11:11

@Apricotta Thank you. Yes it’s a bit sucky but I’m putting my big girl pants on. I’ve contacted two counsellors but had no replies. Typical- I couldn’t find anyone to speak to when I had the termination so I just toughed it out.

Congratulations to everyone who’s finding out! Life doesn’t run in straight lines. That’s what I keep saying to myself!

Angel786786 · 19/08/2020 11:46

Know it can be daunting and quite emotional with miscarriages had one. No support or contact numbers, counselling just had to get on with it. Take each day slowly. Count your blessings you have another day.

doritodiva · 19/08/2020 12:35

Can I join? Due the 12th April. Nausea has really hit this week. Also I've had really bad lower back pain the whole time I've been pregnant. On and off. Has anyone had this? I have been doing a lot of lounging around.

Angel786786 · 19/08/2020 13:37

Mornings after tea is quite nauseating and get morning sickness too, I didn’t experience with my two daughters. Rest it off then I feel ok 👌🏽

Angel786786 · 19/08/2020 13:38

Thanks Apricotta! 🥰

Maybe3ornot · 19/08/2020 14:40

@doritodiva I’ve had lower back pain this week and I’m 6+4. Also very nauseous this week and a lot of lower stomach aches.

Furbabymum15 · 19/08/2020 14:52

Hey ladies I'm 5 wks today and worried only symptoms are tiredness and headaches I worry there's no sickness 😕 anyone else the same?

doritodiva · 19/08/2020 14:53

@Maybe3ornot I'm the same! I'm 6+2. Really feeling miserable. I think I've been sitting down too much to be honest.

SabrinaGx · 19/08/2020 16:10

@Furbabymum15 I'm the same. I think I'm just over 5 weeks (due 19th april) and have no nausea at all.. dont know if i should count myself lucky or be worried 😕

SabrinaGx · 19/08/2020 16:11

@Furbabymum15 I have also heard sickness might start from 6 weeks onwards lol, so might just be that we're both still quite early in our pregnancy.

Furbabymum15 · 19/08/2020 16:51

@SabrinaG we're due date buddies

SabrinaGx · 19/08/2020 17:25

@Furbabymum15 oh wow so I must be 5 weeks today then too! I get so confused with all the different calculators I use!
I'll let you know if I get any other symptoms but so far have just had tired legs at night really, and very mildly sore breasts (only if I touch them though but pain isn't even noticeable really)

Hi! We have the same due date 😊 I've had the exact same symptoms as you! And some big mood swings too! I'm a first time mum this is all so new to me sometimes I worry because I don't actually have "morning sickness" but I think feeling as nauseous as I do makes up for it 😷
Furbabymum15 · 19/08/2020 20:11

@SabrinaGx I know I ovulated on a Wednesday.. So I'm just guessing lol.
I am same except really tired and foggy headaches. Have u contacted midwife yet? I called today and got put on the list x

SabrinaGx · 19/08/2020 20:17

@Furbabymum15 I have been feeling tired but I'm not sure its the pregnancy or just me lol!
I contacted my gp last week and she said she would refer me to the Birmingham womens hospital. However the gp hasn't attached my referral form so the hospital won't book me in for anything until they receive it. My gp said the receptionist usually does this but she's been off work. She's back tomorrow so hopefully will be sent over soon. The hospital said I didnt need to worry though as I'm still early they wouldn't see me yet anyway lol! X

Furbabymum15 · 19/08/2020 21:12

@SabrinaGx aww sounds like the ball is rolling in the right direction x
Yeah I'm normally tired but this week has been horrific I could sleep stood up lol.
If I remember right you get your booking in appointment around 8 to 10 weeks. Mine was done via phone in April but unfortunately that turned out to be a missed miscarriage so fingers crossed this time xx

Sorry I'll be leaving you all! I had a scan, they couldn't even date me as there was literally nothing there. Not 1 sign of pregnancy Confused felt like I was a bit mad!
Best of luck on all your journeys xxx

Serethiel · 20/08/2020 07:43

@Stitchandangel I'm sorry to hear that! Are you having positive tests? How bizarre! Maybe things are super early? But I'd go with how you feel. I know it's completely different and I'm not trying to compare...I went for a scan when I was 9w2d to be told I was measuring only 5 weeks. I knew it wasn't right. Take care during this time x

stitchandangel · 20/08/2020 08:13

@Serethiel
Yes this was taken yesterday Sad
They did print out a photo and I asked to see it and there was nothing there Confused
Thank you ❤️ x

Sorry to hear that @stitchandangel, how many weeks do you think you are, could you just have been too early? Have they offered any follow up or explanation? I assumed they checked for ectopic just to be sure? It must be so confusing, take care of yourself Flowers
