Paid the deposit on our pram yesterday! Was adament we were just looking at them in person, after narrowing it down online... but we saved £100 and it was the last day for the deal so ended up taking the plunge.

19+3 and still no movement, trying not to flap 😂

Everything as it should be at the scan, turns out I ve an anterior placenta so hence only having the small amount of movement so far. Its a boy:)

@BS9790 Don't fret, I'm 21 weeks and have barely felt anything I'd say was definitely movement!

Thought we are getting closer to the end of this thread, so will update the list, and then when it comes to it we can use this as the starting as everyone will be tagged.

@Strawberries4days Thank you. Them dresses look really comfy? Where are they from? I did a George order and got a few baby vests and sleepsuits whilst I was at it.

@DressingGown87 thank you! The white dress was from H&M for only £12.99 and the harem jumpsuit was from Amazon. I put a black tie belt on the jumpsuit so there's some sort of structure haha. Oh I love the George baby section, I got so much Disney baby grows and outfits for her haha

@DressingGown87 That's fab you have kept track of this.

We have our scan on Thursday I really want a surprise but my partner wants to know lol but is also happy to do what I want.
Which makes me think shall we just find out? I just think it will be so lovely at the end of giving birth finding out. I dunno 🤷‍♀️

Still not 100% sure if my partner can come in the scan not heard anything has changed? Wonder if the Midwife will know or maybe I phone the receptionist at the centre I have the scan?

Had my 20 week anomaly scan today, thankfully looks like a healthy (and wriggly) baby. We decided to leave the gender as a surprise :)

@Clalou83 is it your first? It's always nice to have a surprise too! I never found out with my first I thought it was a boy but I delivered a baby girl.who's 8 now and is my whole world. Second time round I found out I was having a boy, this time I really don't mind at all as I have one of each but I'm finding out for the kids as they need to know apparently lol!

@Clalou83 I called my ultrasound department today. Still no partner allowed sadly for my scan this Thursday (Surrey)

Ahhh I’ve had a nightmare trying to decorate the nursery. B&Q had no samples of paint I wanted. The valspar range is all blocked off, so you can’t even see the samples unless you que! Then my partner picked up my order from Dunelm which was meant to be a white curtain pole which is actually more cream/yellowy 🤯

I just want to be organised so we can get the carpet done and order the furniture!! I’m so impatient 🤣

Apologies I think this has already been discussed but does anyone have experience with belly button piercings?
What did you decide? Just take it out and just forget about it, buy flexible ones or put in every so often to keep it open? I've always loved my tummy and piercing but maybe it's time to just leave that in the past who knows what it'll look like afterwards.

@Clalou83 I've had my piercing out for a few years and it hasn't closed up so hopefully if you take it out and decide not to put a flexible bar in it'll still be fine :)

has got their or had their mat B1 form done before?

A midwife gave me one yesterday and filled her details out on it but as the antenatal clinic had closed for the day, she suggested that I ask my gp to stamp it.
I've rang my gp who said oh your midwife does it and i explained that they've already done it and i think i just need a doctors stamp but they sounded a bit unsure about it, do I definitely need both a midwives details and a doctors stamp on it?

@SamK93 Yeah think I'll give them a whirl.

@1990shopefulftm Is that the form for prescriptions and dental care? If so my midwife filled in I filled in then posted it then I got a letter back with a number on to use. If not not sure what you mean.
