@cattaxi ah thats good to know then! Hopefully not to fast though! DH is going home with DD and only coming back when I go to delivery as don't want to waste my sisters day for nothing 😄

Morning all! I had lots of low down period type cramps overnight. They got quite sore at one point, but seem to have died down now. Phew!

Glad you got to go home @Frizzy1986. I hope you feel better & that you enjoy your sisters visit.

@SC0508 Your poor ds! I’m sure he’s fine - most stuff like that is an adventure for a kid.

I hope everyone else is ok & that everyone got some sleep.

Hi all, dd was born in Thursday. Sorry I haven’t updated.

It was a bit of a complicated birth and resulted in bruising and swelling around her face so won’t be posting the photo. Still doing some follow ups so hope it all turns out well for my poor dd who suffered a traumatic birth.

So far DS is curiously hands off his sister and trying to help me out when she cries by pointing it out but he can’t help be overcome with emotion and has been excessively sensitive when I choose baby over him. However it doesn’t seem like a big adjustment.

@MrsNotNice - congratulations on the birth of your daughter. for your experience which you said was traumatic. I hope that the coming few days will bring you some comfort and answers following her birth.
My 4yr old is also struggling a bit with me not being instantly available and has been more tearful and at times challenging than usual - but it will pass.
