@Kathryn19 due on 18th August, can not come quick enough for me! DP is a teacher so the early in August the better really so we get more time off together Smile
Exactly! If I don’t feel a movement for around half an hour I’m jiggling, poking and nudging to get a wiggle out of him, then I’m shattered because he doesn’t stop all day 🙈

@kittytiggy well I’m sold, I’d give both my legs for 6 hours sleep! Might send a hint over to DP, he’s off on a residential weekend away with the school he works at this weekend so think he owes me seeing how close to the end it is Wink

Kathryn19 · 10/07/2019 10:11

@TheSweatyPregnancy oh nice, very close to me! My husband also has more free time over summer, so wouldn't be a bad thing if baby came a little early but equally we need time to move house first!
@mynameiscalypso I am feeling similar... got up at 2 for the loo, tossed and turned from discomfort at 4, and had to get up at 6 30 with tummy pains... now trying to concentrate on work but not feeling up for it at all...

Msd2416 · 10/07/2019 10:24

Im 32+5! We have no names at all for girls/boys we agree on. Just cant wait to sleep on my belly again!

kittytiggy · 10/07/2019 15:12

How is everyone today? I have drank an ungodly amount of nesquik Blush and about to drop the toddler off at nana's to go and get ready for my 4pm-8pm shift! I just feel bloody huge and my back hurts ahahaha. Only 2 more weeks to go now Emilie, 2 more weeks to go. Still feel knackered even after my increased amount of sleep! Sorry for the moan Grin

kittytiggy · 10/07/2019 15:14

AND YES EVERYONE GET THE PILLOW IT IS A GODSEND

mumoftwo1988 · 10/07/2019 15:49

Had my 37 week appointment today apparently babys head is 'free' at 33 weeks he was 1/5th 😩 am I right in thinking with second and third pregnancys they sometimes dont engage till labor? I'm actually so excited to go into labor 😂 I'm done.. I dont even mind being in pain bring it on!

OP posts:
Lexyness · 10/07/2019 16:51

@mumoftwo1988 yes as far as I was aware heads don’t engage until labour with subsequent babies (certainly my others anyway)
I’m exhausted again! Fell asleep just before ds walked through the door from secondary school so had to then stay awake to pick the others up form primary school. Decided to go to bed before work but haven’t managed to sleep at all and now going to work 😭 also feel like I’m going to vomit again 😢
Willing myself to struggle through for another 2 weeks until full term but I’m so done right now! x

Firsttimemumdueaugust · 10/07/2019 17:09

I can feel the pain of all of you with the lack of sleep. I've have however just managed an hour's nap which has been heaven!
Spent all day batch cooking with my mum, freezer full with more stored at hers. I am desperate not to starve (or survive on takeaway) once the baby gets here.
Has anyone else done any batch cooking?

Lexyness · 10/07/2019 19:47

@Firsttimemumdueaugust
I would’ve loved to have been able to batch cook a load of meals, but just don’t have the space in my freezer 😭 well done on being so organised and also for getting a nap in!
I think I am going to be super busy when we become a family of 6! 🤞🏻 Fingers crossed my older 2 are willing to do a bit of cooking for me lol, I did ask them today since I’m feeling so sick but no joy 😞 and we don’t have many takeaways either so that’s not much of an option when dc4 is here lol! Even the closest McDonald’s is 30+ mins away lol! x

Firsttimemumdueaugust · 10/07/2019 20:10

I've managed to persuade my mum to lend me some space in her chest freezer for all the cooking. Luckily she only lives 10 mins away. My freezer is currently full of ice cream and other naughty things. Must eat those before dc arrives. 😂
We also have a lack of takeaways in our area. Only a Chinese will deliver. Don't think my waist line could take that too often.
Tomorrow I'm sure I'll spend my day doing naff all so my batch cooking smugness will swiftley disappear!
I'm sure the older children will help to cook if that's the only way they will get any dinner!

ZazuMoon · 10/07/2019 21:19

@kittytiggy thanks for the review. 6 hours sounds dreamy.

@mynameiscalypso I'm with you on the second breakfasts. It's so hard when you eat at 3 or 4am not to just eat again by 9.

My biggest comfiest pair of work shoes were digging in today. The problem is my feet have swelled upwards, if that makes sense, so I can't even just buy a bigger pair. I'm always amazed at the way my body is changing in unexpected ways.

Lexyness · 10/07/2019 22:06

@Firsttimemumdueaugust
We don’t have a single takeaway who delivers locally 😮 if we want food we have to go collect it. Such a pain in the 4rse!

@mynameiscalypso I tend to have second breakfast as well 🤣 and I’m only having my first around 7 lol. Come late afternoon I don’t want anything more though, and having to force myself to try and eat something for tea each night!

Lexyness · 10/07/2019 22:13

Can I ask - is it possible to get blocked milk ducts whilst still pregnant?
I went to bed and had immense pain from taking my bra off, under my right nipple. Very tender, think there is a small swelling but it’s so sore to touch I can’t tell tbh, and possibly a little redder than the rest of me.

Only ever had a blocked duct when breastfeeding not when still pregnant! Wonder whether it’s the reason I’ve been feeling extra pants this afternoon and extra sick 🤷🏼‍♀️
Plus as tired as I am I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep due to the pain as It’s difficult enough to get these boobs comfortable as it is 🙈

Saladinthesun · 10/07/2019 23:06

@Firsttimemumdueaugust I’ve been batch cooking but have a small three drawer freezer so what I’ve managed so far is lots of freezer bags of bolognaise sauce and 5 tubs of cottage pie, might try making some curry too but I can’t take up anymore than one drawer, might ask my parents if I can use a drawer at theirs! Hadn’t thought of that Smile we also don’t have takeaways that deliver (probably a good thing!) but nearest McDonald’s is only 10 mins away...not a habit I want to start really though!

mumoftwo1988 · 11/07/2019 07:15

Does anyone feel more tired whe you get more sleep? Turning in bed is a very painful experience atm (spd) and was up around 7 times last night to pee 😩

Had some very vivid dreams last night aswell... anyone else get them? X

TheSweatyPregnancy · 11/07/2019 07:53

@Kathryn19 I don’t know how you are moving house this late on, we moved when I was around 20 weeks and it was difficult. DP pretty much did everything and I felt awful, but we managed to get in and everything sorted over one weekend 👍🏻 You will need a lot of cake after the move, I did Wink

@Lexyness I’m not sure but through this pregnancy I have had the worst nipple pain! Then about 2-3 weeks ago in the bath I held a really hot cloth to the pain to try and soothe and milk came out! (TMI sorry) I’m not sure if mine has been due to having that nipple pierced though, haven’t had a bar in it since February so maybe it’s healed funny, not sure.

@mumoftwo1988 I’m with you on the vivid dreams. At first they were just really random topics but last few weeks it’s all been birth related. Baby being breach, emergency CS etc. So much so when I wake it takes a minute to realise I’m at home and not in labour!

Kathryn19 · 11/07/2019 07:57

@TheSweatyPregnancy we currently rent and were house hunting when we found out I was pregnant... had to ramp it up! Our flat isn't really baby suitable (quite small, second bedroom is damp so can't be used for much storage, tiny garden etc) so we really wanted to buy before she came. It's just taking a very long time from finding the house to completing!!!

kittytiggy · 11/07/2019 12:57

34+1 today! Worked this morning and now at home eating a 'pregnancy salad' as it's suddenly dawned on me all I'm eating is crap Blush
Hope you're all ok?

Lexyness · 11/07/2019 13:32

@kittytiggy

Well done! If I can manage food it is literally crap! Just had my lunch of a packet of Cheetos crunchy (super excited to find proper Cheetos in the uk 🤣) and a Balti pasty washed down with Lucozade 🙈 debating on having some chocolate now lol

Lexyness · 11/07/2019 13:46

In another note - I washed all my pram/car seat fabrics today - woo! I take that as a nesting win 🤣
Anyway does anyone know how to clean raincovers? Have a brand new one for pram but was given one for car seat and it’s filthy!

mynameiscalypso · 11/07/2019 14:00

Hurrah for second breakfasts (I had a gingerbread man this morning, not sure if that counts?)

34 weeks today, bump is measuring very big but luckily already have a growth scan booked in for Monday. Was supposed to have an appointment with my consultant today (have an elective c section at 39+1) but after an hour of waiting, they realised she wasn't in this week. Typical!

PhoebeBear · 11/07/2019 14:39

@mumoftwo1988 yes I have vivid dreams too!
Last night I had such an amazing dream- I dreamt I gave birth and was recovering, I bathed my baby and he was just absolutely beautiful! My sister was helping me out and then I was dressing baby to go out and see my parents.

This is where it gets unrealistic- 😂 I dreamt I suddenly fit back into my size 10 jeans and I was looking great! My nipples had gotten smaller and not so dark. Then I woke up and got very sad 😂 x

kittytiggy · 11/07/2019 15:08

@Lexyness well done for being productive! I am being so lazy haha.

kittytiggy · 11/07/2019 15:09

@mynameiscalypso sounds like something that would happen to me!
