Hi all anyone else getting anxious? Il be 37 weeks on Thursday and its starting to hit me that.... I have to get this baby out.... lol

Goodluck to all still waiting to meet their precious ones. And congrats to all the August babies here already. How did we do without them?!

I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl weighing 8lb 15oz on Monday after a 1hr 45min labour. Didn't have time for pain relief so I was adamant I'd ripped in half 😂. She was also back to back which was fantastic 😭. Poor girl had a bit of a traumatic entrance, cord was wrapped round her neck so didn't breath for a while but she's all good now.

Got all my batch cooking done today though and lots of food bought for freezer.

An hour and 45 minutes??? Is this your first?

@bakingbabyv she's lovely! Mine weighed the same, wish the labour lasted like yours though- 23 and a half hours for me 😣

Thank you ladies 🥰 second baby @Snowflake9. I had a 5hr labour with my first so they told me to go in as soon as I had contractions with this one but didn't think it would be that quick! Hang in there it won't be long 😘

@PhoebeBear labour is so bloody hard but so worth it at the end. Hope you're okay ❤️

My boy was 8lbs 15 also!! and he was 50cm.

Anyone else now overdue and fed up?? 😩

My son arrived this week, a couple of days earlier than his planned section date and after a few hours of very quickly progressing labour I had an emergency section. Very pleased he's here safely. Thinking of all those who are still waiting ☺

@greystar30 thank you and I hope you don't have to wait much longer. ☺ the last couple of weeks of pregnancy are such a drag.

My due date is Monday. I am currently not speaking to DH.

Oh no @Snowflake9 ..... we are on frosty terms because everything DH does makes me want to hit him. I was due last Saturday and so sick of him asking if today is the day, how should be plan his workload.

As if I’m crossing my legs to be difficult and make everyone wait.

@Shahlalala - exactly!! My DH when is this baby coming? I have (reels off workload) to get done.

40 weeks today, had my bloody show on Saturday. Going midwife tomorrow. She will.offer a sweep. I kind of want baby to stay in a little while longer as I want to get a few more things done!

Also. The world and it's Mrs has text me I am sure of if.

"Any news?"

"Any sign of baby?"

Like family members we hardly hear from, I feel like saying "baby was born 3 weeks ago, just forgot to tell you! Silly me!" Just to see their reaction

Surely it can't be long now? Thinking of you all who are still waiting. Come on stubborn babies- it's September this week! 😀

40+5 now and no sign of baby. Unable to have a sweep due to polyhydramnious and cord prolapse risk 🙄 got a growth scan later today and then hopefully a consultant appointment to make a plan...

Is it sad that I am more excited about my new hoover arriving today?? So much so I have pushed the prospect of having a baby to the back of my mind. Haha.

So sweep was unsuccessful. She could touch my cervix but couldn't reach it to do s&s. Thinks it's thinning though and starting to dilate.

My DH was like. Surely she must know when it's coming? I was like, no. No one knows. He wasn't convinced and was sure that she knew and I wasn't telling him.

Corrrrr.. wish everyone would do one and let this baby comes when it comes!!!!

My scan went well, the fluid had reduced so they were able to do a sweep, I'm 2cm dilated, having another one tomorrow and being induced Friday if no baby by then. Hopefully she comes before as I've read being induced is more painful 😬

Reckon I am going to need to join a September thread now... No sign of baby yet. T+5 today. Livid.
