Hi all anyone else getting anxious? Il be 37 weeks on Thursday and its starting to hit me that.... I have to get this baby out.... lol

Hello everyone I'm pregnant with my first baby. I was due on Wednesday 31st July, but that's come and gone! Currently 40+4 and feeling a bit fed up. I am booked in for a stretch and sweep on Wednesday. I hope he makes his appearance soon

Just to say my little son was born early on 3rd Aug, we had a lovely home birth but then placenta was being a bugger so had to be transferred in for some fun hospital times.
He was 7lb 4oz and is perfect.

40+2 for me now and increasingly impatient, I have no idea how this little bugger has so much room to dance about! I genuinely thought it would've slowed down by now and he'd be deep in my pelvis but my ribs are still getting a massive kicking.

Hoping the sweep works for you @Cam1991 and gets things on the way!
I also have a sweep booked on Wednesday, it's not until late afternoon though, my nap time haha. Really hoping things have got going by then though, we'll see.

I've woke up this morning after some sharp stabby pains to a constant dull ache really low down in abdomen. Got a sweep at 11.30, PRAYING something will be happening soon ! 🤞🏽

I am 37 weeks today, I think I majorly over did it this weekend, terrible back ache, my feet are definitely a size bigger and I was wearing my gardening/cleaning trainers most of yesterday so when I actually took them off my feet were in agony.

Also have woken up with pain in my hands again. I couldn't even squeeze the toothpaste!

On a positive though, it's my last Monday at work !! (5 days left!!) X

Spent the weekend sorting out our wardrobes/storage and we have a load to drop off at the charity shop. Meeting a friend for tea and cake later. I’m going to keep moving and hope that baby starts shifting.

Sweep wasn't painful at all, I found a smear worse! 3cm dialated so feeling great ! MW says I might not need another sweep on Wednesday 🤞🏽🤞🏽

I feel like I have been ran over by a truck! Every part of my body aches. My legs and hips especially!

Sweep at 10:30 today. Not hopeful 😭 get keep pains but it turns into nothing. 40+1 and bloody miserable 😂. My darling toddler had us up at 4:50am this morning so I currently feel like I should be eating my lunch, not breakfast.

have tried everything to get this baby to shift, raspberry leaf tea, primrose oil, clary sage, sex, hot food. Nothing. I think I'm still going to be pregnant by Christmas.

I feel like you do! I even started squatting last night 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve had curry, hot sauce, drinking loads of raspberry leaf tea, thyme tea, walking, sex, getting on my hands and knees to clean bathroom and kitchen floor...

I may take my 4yr old swimming this afternoon. Hopefully that works 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Chocolatedaim omg yes! I was doing the bathroom yesterday too 😂. I'm a bit crampy this morning, but I have been for what feels like 74928329 weeks 😂😂

I even cleaned the bins out and the skirting boards! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I hope everyone's sweeps/swimming/skirting board cleaning/chilli eating has the desired results. I too am physically ready for my baby to be born but want him to come on his planned c section day.

2cm dilated and midwife was touching baby's head... had a few cramps since, got slight back ache but nothing to be excited about... hoping baby comes tonight as my usual midwife is in and I love her 😭

Oh ladies. I am dreading going over. I am 37+1 and am so uncomfortable.

This weekend I deep cleaned the house , all kitchen cupboards, oven etc. Then on Sunday I pulled everything out of the garage cleaned it all, then cleaned the garage and put it all back in. Have shifted sofas, beds to clean behind.

Running out of things to clean now though.

DH is irritating me to no end too. Everything he is doing is grating on me.

Work have be on wind down so I am bored out of my mind.

Brought some clary sage from Holland and Barrett’s, is the idea that you just light a tea light and put the oil in a burner?

More spicy food for dinner tonight as well.

I have made plans to take my 4yr old bowling on Thursday so I bet I go into labour then!

I'm the same @ZazuMoon, trying everything to keep baby in until next Friday which is his scheduled appearance date! That said, had some weird blood test results today so waiting to hear from my midwife to see if they're going to bring my section forward. Not sure I'm quite ready for it!!
