Hi all anyone else getting anxious? Il be 37 weeks on Thursday and its starting to hit me that.... I have to get this baby out.... lol

I’m still bloody pregnant with no signs of imminent labour. I have an induction booked in for Monday, really hoping something happens before then!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Is any one else reading to deeply in to "signs" of labour. Every little thing I'm hoping is a step closer when in reality it's a bit of back ache or slightly more discharge than normal.
Not had no tightenings at all :(

Anytime I get a twinge or anything I think ooo but no still pregnant. I’m drinking more raspberry leaf tea than I thought physically possible. I’m going swimming again tomorrow morning. Can’t face another red chilli and I’m getting really bored of waiting. Initially I really didn’t want to be induced but it’s looking more and more appealing.

And @Sienna757 yes! I've been reading up all day about signs and whenever I get a twinge I think this could be it! Been walking all day up and down the roads to get baby going but now I'm officially over do so really feeling fed up 🙄 especially after having my bloody show I was reading online that other mams labours began pretty soon afterwards. I've also had the back ache but that comes and goes, as for tightenings I sometimes get them but they still feel like Braxton hicks and up high in my stomach so I can never be sure.
Phones been going off none stop with the 'is the baby here yet' texts so that's a let down too

I’m getting texts and it’s annoying, I sent a snippy one back to my mom saying I would let her know when I had news. I didn’t get a reply and have felt guilty all day 🤦🏻‍♀️

Had BH on Saturday night, so I had convinced myself that baby would be here by now.
He has been a stubborn baby all the way through, hiding his face so we couldn’t get a clear picture, cuddling up in a ball so sonographer couldn’t measure him, originally was back to back. Honestly he is just like his father 😆🤦🏻‍♀️

C-section went ahead this morning! Was taken to theatre at 12 and baby boy was born at 12:54 weighing a rather healthy 9lb 7.
I am completely overwhelmed and finally coming to terms with the csection and feeling like I made the right decision for me and baby!

Fingers crossed to all those waiting to meet their precious little bundles and hoping all the twitches and BH turn into the real thing soon!

Wee Sproggy born this morning after having my waters broken - a wee 6lbs 8.5oz but perfect in every way!
So so chuffed and in love!

@Chocolatedaim I had major anxiety about being induced and what I will say is that I went into the hospital and I was already 2cm dilated. I soon went to 10cm and into labour very quickly. So it might be quicker then you think. Keep us updated.

Our house was a sea of electric fans, 8-9 months during a summer heatwave isn’t fun. We are going to likely have two mid/late August babies as 2nd one looks like it’s going to be that way looking at the appointment schedule we have.

Congratulations to those with their new arrivals! I have less than 2 weeks to go and am counting down the days. Movement is difficult and I wasn't prepared for how tired I would suddenly feel as my energy levels have been all right the rest of the pregnancy. Also not prepared for the return of the heart burn and nausea!

The text messages are driving me crazy. Do people actually think that you would have the baby and then just not mention it to anyone?? So annoying!

I had my last day today, and actually had some really lovely presents and vouchers from work. Which was a complete shock.

I am soaking in the bath as I have such dull pain in my left hip, towards my thigh and down my leg.
.such a relief knowing I can just take things at my own pace now.

@ZazuMoon I am the same with energy levels! I feel great first thing (body naturally wakes me up at 6:15) then at about 3-5 I crash! Then full of beans again between 7-11!
.am going to attempt to go swimming next week. If I can get some sort of swimwear on. 😂😂

Brought myself an exercise ball today so I can do some bouncing. Also went swimming. Baby feels low and I am going to the loo every half an hour so he is obviously on my bladder but no significant signs, hopefully the ball will help!
Daughter wants to swim again tomorrow which suits me 😊

Coming late to the party ladies. I’m due on Tuesday. Sick of thinking every cramp and pain is the start of it. I’ve had 3 sweeps now to no avail. Really not sure if what I believe to be my mucas plug was indeed that and thought I had my bloody show week before last. It’s all such kind games! Mad how impatient I am as it’s coming nearer

@Snowflake9 at least you had some acknowledgement after your rubbish experience at work. My manager told me the week before my last day 'we haven't done anything for you, in case you were wondering.' Probably still annoyed that I won't come back early. Didn't even get a card! Don't care though as just a relief to be on leave.

@zazumoon that's terrible. I know the feeling of being relieved now you have finished.

Although for the last 30 mins I have been having pretty regular painful contractions which build then fall. Trying not to think too much of it as it always turns out to be nothing.

Going to take some paracetamol and go to bed.

Looks like my contractions were the real thing, currently in hospital with epidural in. Tried gas and air in the birthing pool which was okay but then got unbearable! Getting checked at 2am to see how I've dialated. Been 4cm for 9 hours so far and it's been so painful! X

Haven't been able to log into mumsnet for a few days for some reason so I've felt totally out of the loop.

Still pregnant. 40+5 now & by this point I'd had my DS so I'm feeling pretty fuming 😂. Had 2 sweeps and absolutely nothing is happening. Lost so much of my mucus plug yesterday, was everytime I went to the toilet but I haven't had any since my sweep this morning 😔. Coming to the realisation I maybe induced.
