@Snowflake9 I was like that around 37 weeks, but the next few weeks will fly by! And now I can't believe I'm past my due date! I'm the same with DH! Last night he was driving me INSANE 😂 even just getting into bed he pissed me off 😂.

@Chocolatedaim so with the clary sage, I always use it with coconut oil, you need to mix it with a carrier oil, so olive, almond or coconut or even baby oil if you have some. I do 1 tablespoon of oil and 2-3 drops of clary sage. Don't over do it otherwise you'll over stimulate your uterus. I rub it into my bump and get DH to rub it into my ankles. It's lovely! Xxx

PhoebeBear · 06/08/2019 15:52

Not sure my sweep did anything apart from make me lose my plug, which I do know is still a plus!
Apart from that I've had no more pains, back at midwife app tomorrow so I think I'm going to ask for another sweep. Anything to bring on baby! 🤞🏽😄

Mammaof2x · 06/08/2019 16:43

I feel all your pain! Due date tomorrow and no significant signs yet.

I have started getting achy pains in the front of my floo (TMI) especially when up and moving around it feels like its throbbing is this normal? Good sign of imminent labour?

Also alot of backache and some sharp pains across the front of my belly.

Please say these are signs lol. Don't know how much longer I can cope 😂

Snowflake9 · 06/08/2019 19:42

Hi Lauren! Once junior is here I would be more than happy to do your survey :)

Things I have said to DH today :

It's like talking to a brick

Are you serious? Shut the fucking door, I don't want my living room to smell like BBQ

No I don't want new shoes for my birthday. No shoes fit me so what's the point?

I would love nothing more than to get you an ice cold cider from the fridge.

Corrrrrr.

ZazuMoon · 06/08/2019 21:27

@mynameiscalypso I hope you're feeling all right and that you are able to have your baby on the day planned. I lost my plug 10 days ago and it has made me apprehensive since that it's not going to be planned.

ZazuMoon · 06/08/2019 21:29

To everyone else, may the next few days bring forth more babies! 😀

bakingbabyv · 07/08/2019 07:34

Still no baby 😭. DTD last night in hope some extra fluid up there would bring labour on and nothing. I don't think I can DTD anymore, we've had it more in the last 3 weeks than we have in the last 12 years 😂.

I've had a good cry this morning, just feel so frustrated. Really trying not to get too stressed though as I know that won't help baby come out at all.

Woken up this morning to very swollen lips, I swell like a balloon on my last few days so I'm hoping that's a good sign. DH said he can't wait to see my cheekbones again. LOL HES SO CUTE.

Sweep booked for 8:30pm on Friday if baby doesn't come sooner so hopefully I'll have a baby Saturday. DOUBT IT THOUGH 😭

Sorry I'm so angry today 😂

Chocolatedaim · 07/08/2019 07:51

Morning all 👋🏻

Oh bakingbabyv I can sympathise. I woke up like that on Monday, I was snapping at everyone. I’m sort of passed that now, figured baby has got to arrive at some point 🤷🏻‍♀️😆

I tried Clary Sage last night, rubbed it on my skin (with olive oil) and put some drops in the bath. Baby has dropped, the kicks are happening much lower. Drinking raspberry leaf tea by the bucket load, I think I should invest in shares in the stuff! 😆

More walking and chilli today, love to you all x

happygoluckyhippo · 07/08/2019 08:50

Hey all, checking in as 38 weeks today and getting induced tomorrow night all being well. Have the midwife today for an MOT so hoping there's no new issues.
In total nesting mode but so so tired as well so a bit frustrated with myself! 15 month old at nursery today and netflix for me at the moment.
Poor husband's not been getting the 'best of hippo' the last wee while either so hoping I'll feel a but less irritable after baby's here!

Best of luck to those getting sweeps/c sections/inductions soon! And to those who don't need them! Fingers crossed for a bunch of healthy, cute, chubby, average sized babies in the next days! xx

TheSweatyPregnancy · 07/08/2019 11:03

@llaauurreenn just completed the survey for you. I had my little boy 3 weeks early via emergency c section after being diagnosed with Sepsis, so hope that’s something useful for you.

Good luck with all the arrivals still to come ladies, won’t be long before you’re in the ‘winging it’ club with me Smile

Sienna757 · 07/08/2019 13:32

Hi all I'm.new this forum.
I'm due 29th august is any one else due that date. How you feeling and any signs yet. The consultant wants me to be induced again and not so keen this time so I'm going to be trying everything over the next week for that not to happen

Chocolatedaim · 07/08/2019 14:10

Just got back from swimming, and the fanny daggers have returned with a vengeance. I feel such pressure down below almost like I want to push!
I’m going to have a walk through the marshes once the rain has passed. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I will also fill out surgery once baby has arrived!!

Hello Sienna
I understand your anxieties around being induced. I was induced (wrongly) with my first so I’ve been very pig headed this time round and I have put my foot down (unless baby is in danger of course!)
Sending best wishes to you all

ZazuMoon · 07/08/2019 16:03

@TheSweatyPregnancy congratulations on your little boy! I do hope you are feeling all right after contracting sepsis. Look after yourself.

How is everyone else doing? I want to be cleaning but he is so low and heavy that doing much activity is giving me a stitch. So much for getting the house in order!

Sienna757 · 07/08/2019 16:18

I know this feeling every time I walk I feel as though my waters are bulging Ita hurts just walking from room to room but have the feeling I need to.clean
:(

ricecrispiecake · 07/08/2019 16:33

Went in today for my sweep which didn't happen as cervix was fully closed. Consultant wanted to book a c-section for 13th August to give baby a chance to make an appearance by himself but unfortunately the hospital is fully booked so the nearest date they could give me is tomorrow!

Feeling all sorts of emotions. Definitely excited to finally be meeting baby but also feeling slightly disheartened.

Good luck to everyone Thanks

Chocolatedaim · 07/08/2019 16:43

Goodness Ricecrispiecake so are you having csection tomorrow then? Good luck 👍🏻
Very jealous of you all who have your babies in your arms.
I can see mine is going to be as stubborn as his father 🤦🏻‍♀️😁

Xyzzzzz · 07/08/2019 18:21

Sorry I’ve not been around! Good luck to all those waiting for there babies

Firsttimemumdueaugust · 07/08/2019 21:48

I feel the annoyance of the sweep not not being successful @ricecrispiecake I had the same last week.
I've come into hospital this evening with some reduced movements and they have decided to induce me. All seems okay with babies monitoring just as I'm overdue and was being induced in sunday anyway they offered. To say me and my dh were a bit surprised is an understament! Now slightly shitting myself that next time I go home it will be with a baby! Good luck everyone. Xx

PhoebeBear · 08/08/2019 01:32

Happy due date here! 🙋🏼‍♀️
Ladies I had my second sweep today and the MW says I'm still 3cm, my waters are bulging and that she could easily break them there and then.. however once begging her to just do it she says she isn't allowed unless it's medical.. so that got my hopes up for nothing
Anyways after my sweep i had some cramping and backache while driving, went for a walk around the shops and had a lot of pressure down below. All this time I'm still loosing clumps of my mucus plug. However I went to the toilet before and my plugs turned from snot looking to having some blood in it. Could this be my bloody show? Also baby is VERY active tonight as if he knows it's time for him to come out x

Snowflake9 · 08/08/2019 08:20

Any updates @PhoebeBear? @Xyzzzzz?

I seem to have a lot to take to hospital too. I have as small case for me (have packed maternity towels and briefs which are rather bulky) have the changing bag ready for baby, with all clothes nappies, ready made milk incase I can't BF, muslin cloths etc.

A small bag of snacks as no one likes anyone when they are hangry. Isotonic drinks and OJ.

The. DH has a small bag with a change of clothes etc as hospital is 45 mins away.

Should I take the kitchen sink as well???

PhoebeBear · 08/08/2019 08:32

@Snowflake9 still here 🙋🏼‍♀️ been back to the toilet now nothing, no blood or mucus.. is it normal? Is it meant to all stop? I never thought about that and just imagined it would continue up until labour. Had a few aches through the night but nothing bad. DP starts his paternity leave today so now would be a great time for little one to make an appearance

Xyzzzzz · 08/08/2019 09:39

I was induced last week and delivered on the same day.

Snowflake9 · 08/08/2019 13:53

Sorry @Xyzzzzz I tagged the wrong username ! Hope you and little one are doing well.

PhoebeBear · 08/08/2019 17:04

Having a complete melt down, already stressing about possible induction and I've came home today to find out my partners parents have been in my house and took my dogs over to theirs while I've been staying at my mums house as she keeps an eye on me while DP works long shifts. I don't mind them checking on my dogs but I came home today to find my dogs fur tail cut EXTREMELY short without my permission or anything! I know some say 'it's just a dog' but they're like my babies, she's a shih tzu so she's always has a lovely groomed coat now that's ruined. My stress levels are hitting the roof and I'm worried I'll also be stressing this baby out 😣

PhoebeBear · 08/08/2019 17:12

Sorry for the rant! Anyways i had my bloody show last night and now I'm loosing mucus plug again so not sure what's happening. BH on all time high and babies very active , hoping something happens soon
