Hi!!

This week I have taken 4 pregnancy tests, all positive. I’m afraid to get too excited because it is so early. I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow. I have no other signs of pregnancy so it doesn’t feel real yet. Anyone else in the same boat?

First pregnancy, so many questions but I can’t ask friends or family yet.

I’m feeling really nauseous this morning, it’s really knocking me off my feet. Think I’ll just be eating pasta today as it’s the only thing that isn’t making me sick

@Maizie83 I work up with the worst pain in my stomach and I was like 'what is that?!'

Then I realised I had trapped wind. It's all very glamorous. I hate analysing every internal movement. It's best to be busy then you don't really notice it as much! X

@happilyevernever I'm feeling very queasy today too, having to keep eating but still have a weird taste in my mouth.
Not great timing as I'm working 12 hours today... I was so tired by 4pm yesterday that I'm not sure how I'll keep going until 8!

@MrsS7 I ave a really metallic taste in my mouth which is making me ill. I’m travelling all day today and I get travel sickness as is, so dreading going out

I can't believe how tired I am. My DD is 11 so can't remember how I felt. I tested again this morning 😬 still positive (couldn't help it)

@Lorna2019 I couldn't think of anything worse! I have to be up and about even if it's just hinching the house!

@Lorna2019 I had this too, but a few weeks ago. The worst abdominal pain, which was trapped wind. The glamour of it!

No symptoms today but I slept for 12 hours and woke up exhausted. It's so unnerving when there are no symptoms, but honestly this thread is getting me through. Today I have convinced myself that something has gone wrong due to no overwhelming symptoms.

Anyone else feel time dragging at a glacial pace?

Any of you who were asking about apps, I am using the Ovia one, and Babycentre (as the week-by-week pics are good).

Any recommendations for apps for the Dads would be great. My DP is using one called Daddy Up! Seems a bit weird, but he likes it! Lol.

Hi Ladies! I got my BFP yesterday! I think my due date is 8th December. I am 6wks+2 today and it is my first. Weirdly, I got a BFP last week but the following days were negative. Ordered some more tests online and when they arrived I couldn’t resist turns out I was right as the clear blue said 2-3 weeks!

@Maizie83 Time really is dragging, I can’t believe it’s only been two days since I found out. Will be booking an early scan soon hopefully, as I had trouble in my pregnancy with Vinnie so want to make sure everything is okay with this LO.

@FlorenceAlice Congratulations! That is my predicted due date too...but I'm only 4 weeks. Have I worked it out wrong? I did fail my Maths GCSE (twice). Haha!

That’s so weird! I have no idea, but I used one of those calculator things. My cycle lengths have been all over the place too ranging from 28 - 35 days so I took an average. I wonder if that affects the due date?

The bounty app is quite good guys! Lots of good articles and pictures etc.
So dam tired atm! Thank God I finish for the Easter holidays tomorrow! Will be spending the majority of the two weeks off sleeping!

My cycles range between 26-28 days. I went off first day of last period as opposed to day of conception.
Either way, I'm excited to have my first appointment and find out what happens next. X

@Ells0204 yep pretty much everyday just picked up some cheap ones from Poundland 🙈 I know I should stop.

The lack of proper nausea is lovely but as least it gave me reassurance last time, it kicked in at 6wks last time and I’m only 5+3 today and might even be 5+0 if I go by ovulation business still super early days. Boobs still sore tho.

Anyone shared their exciting news yet?

@maizie83 is that a devil wears Pravda reference? 😂 “glacial pace” - yes though the last two weeks feel like months!

@florencealice I’m 6+2 with very regular 28 day cycles and my due date is 26th Nov so maybe that app has worked it out wrong? thought I’d let you know as I’d want someone to tell me!

I’m very crampy this evening feels just like a period then there’s some occasional...wind so I’m hoping it’s just that, fingers crossed. X

@Lorna2019 @MindyMoonstone out of interest what was the first day of your last cycle? Mine was 27th Feb!

@MindyMoonstone dw I've had a lot of cramping over the last two weeks since i found out, I spoke to my friend at work today who has a two month old who said she had it as well, said it felt like she was about to come on her period all the time.
@bumpingalong84 yes I told my mum at the weekend! It was her mothers day gift! I wrapped a baby grown up that said 'happy mothers day nanny I love you' on it in a big red heart and made sure she opened it last. She was so surprised and so happy! We all cried a lot! Lol.
Oh and congratulations @FlorenceAlice! Welcome to the pregnancy club!! Lol. Were all having Christmas babys!

And just out of interest, anyone else due on the 2nd of December?

@1990carey I’m due the 2nd so say all the calculators. I had last AF the 25th of Feb! Cycles were still a little chaotic after coming off the pill in December. I know I ovulated on the 14th of March which was cd18, so I think they will push me back a few days, however I think I employed fast as got a strong bfp at 9DPO but who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😂

@florencealice first day of last period was 19th feb, so I was 6 weeks on tuesday! :)

From 27th Feb if you had a 28 day cycle I’d count you at 5+1 😳 I’m so confused now 😂
