Hi!!

This week I have taken 4 pregnancy tests, all positive. I’m afraid to get too excited because it is so early. I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow. I have no other signs of pregnancy so it doesn’t feel real yet. Anyone else in the same boat?

First pregnancy, so many questions but I can’t ask friends or family yet.

Is anyone still chatting in this thread? Just found out im 4 weeks pregnant with my first, due end of January ish (i think!)

@Catarinah I believe theres a January 2020 thread about if you prefer to chat to people due in January? Otherwise yah were still chatting!

Oh gosh guys I have my 12 week scan tomorrow morning, 815am (think I'm like the first appoitment of the day lol) I'm so so so excited and so nervous as well! Hopefully everything's doing fine and my little bean is growing as it should be! Keep your fingers crossed for me guys! Hopefully I'll be uploading a photo for you all tomorrow!!

Hey all. 12 weeks today! Starting to feel a bit more human.

Massively bloated at the moment and have started looking at maternity clothes!

Have my scan next Tuesday which I'm a bit nervous about but I guess we all are. My scan earlier in the pregnancy was fine. Just worries about downs etc with my age.

Hope everyone else is starting to feel less sick, tired and hormonal! 👍🏻😁

@1990carey good luck, that’s a lovely early appointment! Picture please! Counting down until Friday for mine, 3pm so hoping the day goes relatively quick

@badfurday I’m 12+1 and still suffering with nausea! On anti sickness tablets but to be honest they don’t do much apart from maybe take the edge off for a couple of hours. Everyone told me it would subside by 12 weeks but still going strong getting fed up now

@Ells0204 Nausea can last longer than 12 weeks unfortunately. You should talk to your doctor if it lasts more than 16 weeks.
I hope it gets easier soon for you, keep strong!

Had my dating scan today! Was so nervous but everything was great, strong heartbeat and baby was jumping about all over the place. He/she was lying too close to the placenta for the sonographer to get accurate measurements though, so I need to go back in 2 weeks to try again for screening tests. For the moment my EDD is 2nd December. So relieved!

Congratulations to everyone who have successful dating scans. I had mine yesterday at exactly 12 weeks. Saw baby, looking good for far :) so relieved and happy. All the nest to those with scans approaching.

Hey guys!!! So so so happy to say everything is doing great!!! My little bean was looking so lovley and they were happy with everything they saw! My little bean was wriggling about lots, bouncing about, kicking its legs and waving its hands about lots!!! In so happy and so relaxed and calm now!!! Yay!!! My Due date is december the 4th now, 2 days later, but i kind expected it to be a little before or after so I'm not bothered at all lol. Just very happy!!!

Hi ladies can I join? Had my dating scan Monday and found out I am due 1st December, not November like I thought! Thankfully scan looked all fine just waiting for screening results now. Has everyone else started telling people yet? We plan to tell the rest of our family and friends this weekend!!

Lovely scans!! Mine is Friday and I’m so excited but so nervous too. I feel my only symptoms are sore boobs. Anybody else the same? No bump, no sickness no more, nothing!

Although I have completely broken out in spots this week :(

@bobble53 I felt the same, I was sure they were going to see nothing at the scan today! But baby was defo there lol! Ans dw I've been getting quite a few spots this week too!

@1990carey that’s reassuring! Not about the spots though, where is this pregnancy glow they mention?!

Being pregnant for the first time is hard! You literally do not know what to expect and what is normal etc. It’s made me an anxious mess at times haha. Roll on Friday!

@bobble53 Pregnancy glow starts during the second trimestre, although not everyone gets it! 🙄

@bobble53 Haha no pregnancy glow for me as of yet, just spots and a constant appearance of being exhausted hahaha

@1990carey yep, I get told on a daily basis how tired I look at work!

Anyone else eating really badly in these first early weeks? I'm 9+4 and all I wanna eat is cake and chocolate. I wasn't an awful eater before, but I didn't eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. But now all I eat is snacks!! And yet everything I read is about how well I'm supposed to eat in these first 12 weeks please tell me I'm not the only one like this!!

@Dec19baby my nausea has been so bad I’ve eaten pretty much nothing but crisps for about 6 weeks. No fresh veg or fresh food, plus had to stop taking my vitamin as well because of how sick it made me feel. I don’t think diet is as huge a deal as people scare us into believing, just eat what you can or what you fancy!
