Hi @CowBrow and everyone, thought I would start a new thread since the old one has filled up and I can't find another! If there is one and I've missed it, let me know Smile how's everyone doing?

@secretlifeofme yes me. I'd say I feel hungover it's that sort of sickness feeling. I get it randomly but mainly when I've not eaten for a while. This means if I wake up in the night I feel really yuk and struggle to get back to sleep. Same if dh wakes me with snoring in the morning.
I'm just grateful that I'm not actually being sick as although I wonder if it gives some relief, I really don't enjoy being sick and nausea is much easier to hide than actual vomit.

Jodie6 · 24/02/2019 08:24

@Rememberallball @Secretlifeofme thanks for finding me. I'd started another thread as the other had filled up except I was the only one on the new thread, and didn't see this one.

My post on there is below:

@lisalou88 not sure if this will connect to you but wanted to see if you would find this thread.

I had an early scan this week and am now 6w 6days and confirmed pregnancy and had a strong heartbeat so I am super relieved.

@Glitterandunicorns I'm so sorry to hear about your scan on the other thread. I'm really hoping it's a date thing and am thinking of you and hoping for better news this week.

CZFR · 24/02/2019 09:07

6 weeks today!! Feel super excited to get there! How is everyone symptom by this point? Not having many, some soreness and heavy breasts (although doesnt feel as sore as at the start), some cramping here and there, tiredness in the early evening, bit of dizziness. Dont think I am having any morning sickness yet. I did feel some nausea yesterday and had heartburns but could have been what I ate... too soon to tell I guess.

On the fb group issue, found on the old thread you need to add Christina Peak on fb and DM her asking to be added to the secret October 19 baby group. She should be adding you then. Xx

CZFR · 24/02/2019 09:46

Oh and backaches! Maybe I have a bit more symptoms than I thought 🤨🤷‍♀️😂

Lisalou88 · 24/02/2019 10:10

@Jodie6 that’s great news about the scan! Glad all was well. I only had my scan a few days ago and already back to worrying something is wrong. I felt really rough last week but then yesterday & today I have woke up feeling almost normal & I’m panicking something is going wrong again. Another 10 days till my next scan 😩 xx

CaramelCluster · 24/02/2019 10:13

Hey @CZFR think mine thus far is similar to yours (also 6 weeks) not nausea as of yet though. The one that's remained consistent is my nipples are tender. Can also squeeze a lemon on those things! 🤣

Has anyone told their family yet? Or are most waiting for the 12 week scan? As it's our first, I'm currently waiting, but it's so hard not to tell my mum as we're close!

flowersaremyfave · 24/02/2019 10:15

@CaramelCluster I've told my teenagers and my family and dh family. Haven't told my little ones though (4&2) waiting until 12 weeks for that

Jodie6 · 24/02/2019 10:28

@Lisalou88 hymn that great. Tbh I've felt relieved since the early scan and am hoping to now wait until the 12 week scan which is 1 April. I do have another scan booked at 9 weeks but if I'm feeling ok about it I might just wait.

Only thing is I've not really had any symptoms other than tiredness (so I'll had lots of early nights) and my boobs have grown. I'd be happy not to get any other symptoms of course as long as everything is ok.

I'm not one to wish time by but it is difficult not being able to tell anyone. We have decided to wait until the 12 week scan before telling anyone but that feels an age away!

Frizzy1986 · 24/02/2019 10:35

@caramelcluster we've told a few people. My best friend (told her almost straight away), both sets of parents and our siblings. There's nothing I can do to stop it going wrong and I'll probably want their support if it does so I'm not bothered about telling them early. We only told my parents before our early scan as they were visiting and I wanted to tell them face to face. We told the rest afterwards.
We won't be telling dd until after the 12 weeks as she will tell everyone. She's 5 and will be too excited and won't keep her mouth shut.

How is everyone else's cm doing? Mine is relentless, stringy and almost snot like. Yuk! There's no smell or weird colour so presume it's normal but it's weird.

angel0071987 · 24/02/2019 11:29

@Frizzy1986 totally normal with cm! I remember with my first I was really worried about it as there was soo much but totally normal and bodies way of protecting bubba by stopping infections. You may find that after taking antenatal vitamins for a while the colour changes to more weird yellowy colour. Also totally normal. Was told to just get checked if goes lumpy white or greeny or starts smelling fishy.

Ugh feeling like I have a hangover today and I've got to get on a plane soon. With a toddler!

@CaramelCluster I've told my family and a couple of work friends. All people who I would want to know if anything went wrong. Haven't told the ILs yet.

I'm 5w6d and desperate to have an early scan. Trying to work out if it's best to do it at 7.5 weeks to manage my impatience or 8.5 as stats will be much better then.

neuroticnumpty · 24/02/2019 11:52

Is anyone getting out of breath and lightheaded super easily?
I just took washing from one room to another and had to sit down 😳

flowersaremyfave · 24/02/2019 12:26

@neuroticnumpty I am I went upstairs last night and was huffing and puffing, had to sit down to catch my breath.I think it means your low on iron

PostiveThinkingRainbow · 24/02/2019 12:37

Hi Ladies, a second thread already😂

I'm 6 weeks today, have developed a constant dull ache in my uterus area, anyone else felt or feel the same thing?
Not sure it's not normal? Xx

Frizzy1986 · 24/02/2019 12:43

@neuroticnumpty all the time. I've just been to pets and home and waitrose (really wanted the Jamie Oliver mac and cheese where the sauce is literally types melted cheese and we had a gift card so free food) I'm sitting in the car dying! I'll need to sit down and do nothing for the rest of the day!

@ginmama1 I'd wait as long as you can. I had mine at 7+5 and although I feel a bit better I'm still contemplating another one in 2 weeks! Dh is being realistic though and reminding me that he saw a definite heartbeat going like the clappers (think I was a bit too busy trying not to move or she'd lose the image) and it's best to just wait for now.

@angel0071987 that's good to know. I can't remember with dd.

@saffy347 my bump is just pure fat right now. Got some size 16 jeggings as I can't get comfy in anything but Pjs.

My nipples have now become massive which dh finds hilarious as my boobs are rather tiny so it's all very out of proportion.

Clarew78 · 24/02/2019 14:35

Hi all can you add me, I'm due around 18th October. X

WhiteVixen · 24/02/2019 19:25

Yes to the snotty cervical mucus here, it just appeared today.
@positivethinkingrainbow I’ve also had the dull ache. It’s normal, just your uterus doing stretching growing things.

CaramelCluster · 24/02/2019 19:51

Thanks ladies! I may tell my mum when I get back, want her to know more than anyone.

@neuroticnumpty omg yes I hear you on the breathlessness. Got this coming up the stairs to work thinking I was getting unfit if I can't climb two flights 😅

@PostiveThinkingRainbow yes I've been getting that here and there for the past few days; been looking at Flo's updates and this is around the time the uterus doubles (or so) in size so makes sense.

bunnieboo91 · 24/02/2019 20:13

Hey girlies! Can I join in? I've been through IVF and took a pregnancy test today and got my BFP! Due date is 29th Oct! I am incredibly lucky because it was my first cycle with IVF Grin

neuroticnumpty · 24/02/2019 20:22

Yes! I was worried I was getting super unfit. Also my resting heart rate has elevated by 10 according to my Fitbit. Crazy isn't it!
I have a separate thread running about urgent bathroom trips too.
For all my tiredness and moaning I am actually delighted to be having another child 😁

neuroticnumpty · 24/02/2019 20:24

Is anyone actually looking bumpy/pregnant yet?
I'm 8 weeks into my second pregnancy and I think I really am showing sometimes but I did have a round tummy to start with.

Jodie6 · 24/02/2019 20:38

I'm 7 weeks and looked that up myself. I couldn't see that you start showing until the end of the first trimester. Having said that my diet hasn't really changed and yet my tummy is more than bloated so had to buy bigger trousers.

No idea? Maybe someone else knows?
