Hi @CowBrow and everyone, thought I would start a new thread since the old one has filled up and I can't find another! If there is one and I've missed it, let me know Smile how's everyone doing?

@Doop I'm also not in the UK so I'm a few hours behind the rest of you. My scan isn't for a couple of hours yet! I also have the awful back pain but the extreme fatigue seems to be lessening now. Did you have an early scan? I had one last time but this time I made myself wait. It's driving me crazy not knowing what's going on in there!

On the subject of tests, I don't know what Harmony or NIPT are as I've never been pregnant in the UK but I assume I will have something similar.

This is me at just over 14 weeks. Please someone else say they are this massive already! Ithibk a lot of it is the food I've eaten to gfget rid of the nausea but I look way too pregnant. I only just started to show at about 20 weeks with my first so this is freaking me out a lot.

You look totally normal!

Scan all good btw!

Secretlifeofme · 04/04/2019 05:41

@NMCB hello, we are due date buddies! Smile and I also have my 12 week scan on 17th April! I know what you mean about the waiting between scans. I had one only last week at 9+2, saw the baby waving its little arms and legs and saw and heard a strong heartbeat, but I'm so impatient to see it again. DH and I have been trying since Sept 2016 and I've had two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy since then - my first miscarriage was a missed miscarriage at 9 +6 so you can imagine that I'm very anxious about this pregnancy.

Sending you and everyone lots of good wishes for your little beans. We will need to start a new thread soon!

@saffy347 I may have to get some today when I go out and give them a try.

@harryharry glad scan went well and everything was ok.

Claireb2203 · 04/04/2019 07:44

@frizzy1986 I'm exactly the same. I don't know if mine's because I was slightly overweight when I feel pregnant and had a bit of a tummy to start with. Apparantly you do start to show earlier with the second

princesstinnedpeach · 04/04/2019 08:24

Oh @Frizzy1986 you look great!

Jodie6 · 04/04/2019 08:26

Had my 12 week scan on Monday. Everything is well with baby and can't believe how quickly they grow.

@HarryHarry no i havent had any scans...they make me too anxious. I didnt even do a pregnancy test. I jusy waited until therr was no question and went to the dr. In the uk you have to have a drs test to get a midwife. Anxiety disorders are the worst...especially in pregnancy!

@Claireb2203 I hate that feeling of something at the back of my throat!

@Frizzy1986 I'm 11 weeks with my second and definitely feeling quite bumpy. I'm a bridesmaid next week and I'm sure everyone will just think I've got a bit fat!

6 days to go until my scan... feels like forever!

Nextchapter19 · 04/04/2019 10:57

Has anyone had a skin breakout? Im 12 weeks and today woke up 3 red spots/marks on my forehead! And some by chin. Im usually very lucky with clear skin so this has come from nowhere!!!!

Nextchapter19 · 04/04/2019 10:59

@Ginmama1 my scan is on Tuesday-also feels like foreverr! Literally wishing the days away until then! I haven’t told any of my family yet, or my partners, or most friends so Im itching to share our news all going well!

Claireb2203 · 04/04/2019 12:07

@GinMama1 have u found anything to get rid of that feeling in your throat?

Claireb2203 · 04/04/2019 12:10

You ladies all look lovely, I'm sat here in baggy t shirt and leggings, don't feel very happy about my clothes at the moment

Frizzy1986 · 04/04/2019 12:23

@saffy347 that looks so neat. That's definitely baby related and not food (which is what most of mine must be! Haha)

Fab scan news around too

Doop · 04/04/2019 12:35

@saffy347 i did find that...my scan date came before my booking appointment. Apparently the system changed the day i took my sample to the GP, and they thought theyd referred me but hadnt. but now everyone has to self refer i believe, so i slipped through the net. Its all in place now though.

I went to the chiropractor today.... i did have sacroliliac dysfunction which was making one leg longer than the other and causing issues in 4 different ways in different parts of my back. Im still in pain but hoping to be feeling better soon. I didnt think this would be my biggest issue in pregnancy!

Doop · 04/04/2019 12:37

@Claireb2203 ugh clothes!! Finding something to go to work in is the worst! What do people who have uniforms do?! So fed up of looking like a sack of spuds!
