How long did it take you to get pregnant?

With your first pregnancy if you were TTC, and how old were you?

I know up to a year is normal, I know it’s dependent on many factors, but I’m just nosey and curious really!

Surprisingly for me, not very long.
My first pregnancy took 3 months after coming off birth control. It was very fast and I have a higher BMI than I should 😳 so I was waiting for it to take ages or not happen at all.
DS is now 14mo
I was 25 at the time.

Started trying age 30. Pregnant aged 32 via 2nd cycle of ivf!

I’m going to add an unusual story.

10 years.

12 years total, miscarriage after 1.5 years.

I’m 35 now and 25 weeks pregnant.

We were told 5 years ago (after I finally went to the doctors) we both had major issues and we needed ivf which probably wouldn’t work.

So we carried on and recently I did think I didn’t want to accidentally be 50 and pregnant so maybe we should think about contraception.

Found out I was 10 weeks as of course after 12 years I wasn’t tracking my periods!

14 years.

5 failed IVFs before we got (naturally) lucky.

I was 39, will be 40 when the baby joins us.

32, we conceived on 6th cycle.

I was 31 and conceived on cycle 4 or 5. Unfortunately I lost the baby at 12 weeks (MMC, found out at the scan). I then conceived again, having not long turned 32, on cycle 3 after my MMC. My DD is 11 weeks, and I turn 33 next weekend!

Conceived first try with both pregnancies
Both planned, had dc1 at 19 and dc2 at 21
Dh had the snip at 23, as we knew we weren't having more

14 months. Started trying at 32.

Took me 6 months after coming off the pill.

First month after coming off the pill. Age 27.

1st cycle after IUS removal. 1st pregnancy, I’m 35. Expected it to take much longer, still slightly shocked (in a good way).

Took five months. I was 31.

TTC No. 2 happened first month at 34.

First month of trying and I'm 29.

2 months. Came off the cerezette pill on xmas eve last year, after 9 years on it!! Thought it would take 6 months to come out my system. Had a withdrawal bleed in Jan, then the first period in Feb then pregnant!

Now 34 weeks! I am 27 - BMI of 27 too.

Seven years, had three miscarriages and two failed ivfs (told we were unexplained) we were just about to start ivf number 3 and found out we conceived naturally I was 38 when I conceived and 39 when DS arrived. I've been ttc #2 since DS arrived (may seem madness but we were told you are really fertile post baby) I'm now 11 months ttc and have turned 40 and we are still ttc.

Two years (aged 30 to 32) due to unexplained infertility and then had twins through ivf.

Two years later I fell pregnant naturally whilst on the pill!

The human body is a complete mystery to me!

First cycle aged 30

Started ttc at 26, first round of ivf at 31 and now have twins.

40 , second month ( had early miscarriage )
40 , second month
42, first month

First month with both children when I was aged 30 and 33.

3 months aged 37
8 months aged 39

I was 33 and it took a week. I haven't dared have sex since.

I'm 26 and we conceived on our second cycle.

Conceived within a single cycle after stopping BC for three pregnancies but it took 3 or 4 months after a MC to conceive again.
DH and I are the cautionary tale to teens of "It can only take that one time you know!"

First pregnancy here. 27. Fell pregnant in the first cycle, stopped taking the pill and missed the first period after it.
