How long did it take you to get pregnant?

With your first pregnancy if you were TTC, and how old were you?

I know up to a year is normal, I know it’s dependent on many factors, but I’m just nosey and curious really!

We were not trying AT ALL....DH & I were both 29 but wanted to wait until we had brought our 1st house/got married so were planning to TTC 1-2yars from then. DD clearly had other ideas and was conceived in spite of me taking the MAP 3/4hours following a condom failure. It was a shock when we found out to say the least but as soon as the news sunk in and we figured that she must be pretty lucky to have made it passed all those odds there was never any question about not continuing. She is still just as tenacious now - there I not stopping her when she sets her mind to something!

DC1 - 3rd month of TTC (age 30)
DC2 - 1st month of TTC (age 32)
DC3 - 1st month of TTC (age 34)

3 months after coming off of the pill. I used ovulation kits which helped a lot with timings. I was 31.

14 months - started trying at 25

3 months first time, but miscarried.
Then another 6 months to conceive DS. I was 34 when he was born.
2nd time, almost 2 years, with a chemical/pregnancy of unknown location in the middle. I’m 34 weeks now and will be 38 when ds2 is born.

We've been TTC for 5 years in total.

Almost 3 years and then I had a surprise pregnancy just before we started fertility treatment. I miscarried. It's been another 2 years since then and no hint of a pregnancy again. I have PCOS.

I was 27 when I got pregnant.

6 months with both, early 30s

On my 26th birthday my DH suggested I come off the pill. On my 27th birthday I had an 8 week old son. It was VERY quick!

I was 25 nearly 26 when started TTC

Pg 1 - 2nd cycle post birth control. Mmc
Pg 2 - 2nd cycle post erpc. Mmc
Pg 3 - 1st cycle post erpc. Chemical
Pg 4 - 1st cycle after chemical. Mmc
Pg 5 - 1st cycle after visiting prof quenby clinic. DS was born a week after I turned 28
Pg 6 - weren't trying but now have ds2 😊

Two weeks after coming off pill.

Two weeks after coming off pill. Age 34.

I was 33 when we started TTC - I've also got a very high BMI and came off the pill (in the attempt to help lose weight as it affects me that way) in March.

Pregnant by May - due in January.....just thought I would have longer to drop a few kilos before then.

Currently pregnant with number 1.

Came off the pill mid-February, conceived end of March, due in December.

BMI was over 30 and I was 26 when I got pregnant (now 27). Had been on the pill for 10 years.

DC1 8 cycles after coming off pill age 32
Then a miscarriage after conceiving 1st cycle (age 34)
Then DC2 first month of trying age 35
Then a miscarriage after conceiving first cycle age ?36
Then DC3, unplanned following a careless night of passion, age 36
So for me it got easier to conceive as I got older. After that he had the snip!

9 years
5 IVFs
2 own egg cycles
3 donor eggs cycles

Started at 28 took 14 cycles .

Age 21 wasn't planned
Age 27 3 months
Age 33 4 months
Age 41 2 months

With my current dp on birth control and became pregnant literally after 1month. Had miscarriage at 13 weeks and then became pregnant another 3months later.
Went back on birth control, came off and got pregnant within about 4months. Miscarried again, 2months later found I was pregnant again and amazingly conceived 1 week after miscarriage!

I was very lucky. 2 months after coming off the pill age 27. X

20- pregnant on 1st cycle.
25- 12 cycles.
27- 13 or 14 cycles.
29- pregnant on 2nd cycle.

I've conceived every time we've had unprotected sex in my fertile period. w
Which is not to say all the pregnancies have stuck. I suspect I'm hyperfertile.

Live births aged 31and 34.

Came off pill age 28 fell pregnant 13 months later at 29. No reason for it taking so long, both healthy, normal BMI's etc

35 - 1st cycle
Currently 37 and on 2nd cycle ttc

DS1 immediately
DS2 2nd cycle

Very fortunate we were.
