How long did it take you to get pregnant?

With your first pregnancy if you were TTC, and how old were you?

I know up to a year is normal, I know it’s dependent on many factors, but I’m just nosey and curious really!

18 months, wife was 32, second, a couple of years later, 2 months.

Age 27, 1st month of trying.
Now age 28, 1 year later ttc #2, just starting 4th month. Was breastfeeding for the whole of first month though so body not ready yet I don't think.

Like others I always thought it would happen pretty quickly. Years later however, I've discovered otherwise. :-(
I'm taking comfort from many of you who despite failed IVF treatment have gone on to conceive naturally. It's renewed my hope a little.

Almost 31, took 8 months though might have had an early miscarriage (unusually late period) after 4 months or 'trying'.

33- conceived in a single cycle.

Age 28, second month.

First go with DC1 (I was 30). Took three months with DC2 (I was 32).

8 years.
Started trying at 32, had 6 rounds of fertility treatment, decided to give up on 40th birthday & move on with our lives. Fell pregnant naturally 6 weeks later and had my baby boy (prematurely) 6 months later.
Found out I was pregnant in the last hours of 2015. New year will always be special to us now :)

Wow bouncy that is lovely. It seems to happen that when couples give up, they conceive naturally. Happened to my neighbour too.

Almost 3 years with fertility treatment. DS is 10 months tomorrow and it's time to start thinking about no2.

I was 29, DS born just after I turned 30.

With ds 1 - it took 11 months Bd I was 29.

With ds 2 - I was 31 and it took about 5 minutes!

Less than 5 minutes and I was 32.

DS 2 months
DD 2 months.

Both times I came straight off the depo injection. Told my husband both times it'd be months 😬

Oh 28 and 31 respectively

32 and 3 months we decided to see what happens for the first year rather than actively track etc which would have been pretty pointless for us anyway as I had weird cycles. I had been off hormone contraceptive for 7 months though.

All of mine were surprises whilst using contraception, whilst pg with number 4 dh had the snip.

2 years. I was 35.

15 months after coming off the depo injection, at 33... But actually only 2 months after periods came back so blame the depo. No one had earned me but apparently common for it to hang around. At 35, floated the notion of a second baby and notion became reality 2 weeks later! 😳

Dc3 two weeks after my implant was removed

I have had miscarriages inbetween though where we had fallen pregnant unexpectedly on the pill and misscarried.

Haha I know, I defo need to abstain on the 7th cycle after this one is born!

Came off the pill in January and fell pregnant in the July 😊 I am 26 but will be 27 when I have my baby 💙💗 xx
