I'm 10-11DPO and just had BFP on a digital. I know it's incredibly early but looking at a due date March 3rd 2019!

@Firsttimer glad it’s not just me then. And the lack of coffee is making things even worse as I normally have three cups a day! I forgot how many things we aren’t allowed - I’m missing alcohol already, but at least it’s a chance for a detox from it only to be replaced by biscuits

pushit · 23/06/2018 15:17

I got a bit worried as my test was very faint this morning. I wanted a nice dark line!! But looked it up and it's probably just the extreme amount of water I drank yesterday. Need to stop testing probably. Period was due weds so unless I start bleeding I'm assuming all is well x

RedRobin7 · 23/06/2018 16:16

Hi ladies, just spotted this March thread.. I've been following the Feb one for a while but been too scared to join. I'm either 4+1 or +2, wasn't exactly sure which date I ovulated. So my EDD is either 28th Feb or 1st March. The Feb thread has been going for a while so everyone is already close on there. I've been very nervous about joining as I'm still too anxious to accept the fact I'm pregnant. I was pregnant in January, had an 8 week scan in Feb and heard the heartbeat and then at the 12 week scan we'd found out the baby had died 💔 So that was only 3 months ago and I'm terrified of losing this one too. I've only had 2 faint lines on FRERs earlier this week and a positive on a CB digital but still not feeling reassured. I don't want a POAS obsession as I had to do many of those after the MC to check my hormone levels had gone back to normal. It's really not healthy!

Need as much support as I can get on here as it's a long road to 12 weeks! I've got a private scan booked at 8+5 so fingers crossed. My DH just doesn't understand and hasn't been very supportive so I'm so glad I've met so many wonderful people on MN.

Oh and this will hopefully be DC1, I'm 29 and live near Reading.

newatbabystuff · 23/06/2018 22:39

Hi - joining in too. I’m 4+1 with a pleasant surprise first baby. It’s not really sunk in yet and DP doesn’t want to get excited til a bit further on.
I started doing the couch to 5k 2 weeks ago and want to keep going on it as it helps me feel human. Also suffering with tiredness and feeling nauseous in the mornings. Not sure how i’ll keep it secret but don’t think we’ll tell anyone til 8w.

So nice to meet other ladies at the same stage!

ladycarlotta · 23/06/2018 22:41

Oh @redrobin7, that's a tough ride you've had! I really feel for you. Congratulations on your bfp though, and welcome to the March squad.

The wedding went OK - it was actually pretty nice. I had a couple of swigs of champers for the toasts and managed to palm the rest of the glass off on my aunt who was socking it away and didn't notice. Much easier than I'd thought to just drink elderflower, and we left before the dancing was in full swing.

During the ceremony I felt a really deep, sharp pain like a really bad period cramp. I've had a few light cramps since, and no spotting, but I've got a slightly upset stomach. Really really hoping this is all normal and not a chemical pregnancy seeing itself out.

pushit · 23/06/2018 23:02

@ladycarlotta glad you got away with elderflower at the wedding and had a nice day. I've had some low down pains too, a tiny bit sharp. I think it's normal, although the worry is always there. I keep expecting my period to start and it all to chemical. I've had 2 chem pregs this year. My mood swings are immense however, and I'm stupidly tired so taking that as a good sign.

pushit · 23/06/2018 23:04

@newatbabystuff good job with couch to 5k. I want to keep up jogging and Zumba too but worry Zumba might be a bit too hardcore as I get super out of breath.

ladycarlotta · 23/06/2018 23:14

@pushit, that's reassuring, thank you - does this one feel different to your chems, do you think? I can't remember what my symptoms were last time, besides massive boobs. I'm pooped and nauseous, which is reassuring. I don't think Spanx and bloating was the best combination for physical comfort, tbh.

hamandpease · 24/06/2018 06:21

Hi all, may I join?

I'm 4 weeks and 2 days today and got my first BFP at 3+3 but wanted to get past my missed period before absolutely believing it. Have become a POAS addict testing with two different brands every day checking they get darker Grin

Dates above are adding 2 weeks onto when I know I ovulated giving a due date of March 1st I believe. I had a 33 day cycle though so I'm hoping at my booking in appointment they agree (booked for 7weeks by my dates or 7+5 using first day of last period).

Also planning to get an 8 week scan and then tell our parents

I have been feeling a bit sick all week am really off the idea of eating meat which surprised me as I thought that only started in week 6.

But the tiredness!! I am floored this past week!

thefirsttimer · 24/06/2018 07:06

Hi ham and new welcome and congratulations!

Glad to hear the wedding went ok lady Smile

pushit · 24/06/2018 08:21

What's the 8 week scan? Can they tell all is okay?

hamandpease · 24/06/2018 08:31

Hi @pushit sorry if my post was misleading, I'm intending to get an 8 week scan privately to check the heartbeat

RedRobin7 · 24/06/2018 08:33

@newatbabystuff We are trying to hold off telling people until 8 weeks too. Last time we told everyone the day we found out but I'd rather wait now. My sister is due next week so I don't want anyone worrying about me whilst they're worrying about her! I joined the gym in April, I try to run but only manage 10 mins in one go before having to walk for 5 to catch my breath lol. I want to keep going with that too but may only just manage a power walk. I also use the bike but I don't go crazy. Feeling a little worried people will judge me when I start to get a bump!!

@ladycarlotta Try not to worry - I think that's normal as lots of things are changing and our bodies are trying to adjust. Good work with the champagne and elderflower.

@pushit The mood swings must be draining. Weirdly I have no mood swings and haven't felt hormonal. I started feeling better than I have in a long time about a week after conception and I did wonder if I was pregnant because it wasn't normal for me. I've been a bit of a moody cow for months so I hope this doesn't change 😂

@hamandpease Feeling sick and constantly hungry have been my only symptom so far. I wish more would hurry up so I could feel reassured! I'm a vegetarian but eventually the smell of meat cooking gets to me. My husband cooks burgers and steaks a lot so I'm not looking forward to that again!

Olivia2019 · 24/06/2018 09:20

Can I still join? I'm due on the 3rd Marchh as well Bozley47
Like so many other ladies on here I can't believe it. I wasn't planning on joining this threat at 1st because I thought I might jinx things. So good luck and congratulations to all of us on here and I can't wait to share my 1st scan with all of you Smile

mostimproved · 24/06/2018 09:51

@hamandpease roughly how much does an 8 week scan cost if you don't mind me asking? I've googled and they seem to vary a lot, and I know my DP will think it's a waste of money but I'm really keen to get one to make sure there's actually something in there!

@Olivia2019 welcome to the club - like you I didn't want to jinx it but it's nice to have others in the same boat to talk to.

@RedRobin7 I can't even run for 5 minutes so you are doing better than me! I am so unfit and get out of breath and dizzy very easily, and during my last pregnancy I could only walk 10 minutes without seeing stars so I'm really hoping it's not like that again. Will try some yoga and walking which will be better than nothing at least. Also, my work is about to start offering free gym memberships so I have no excuse!

@newatbabystuff welcome and well done with the c25k. I'm 4 + 2 today so same as you I think!

RedRobin7 · 24/06/2018 10:14

@mostimproved I haven't done any for about 2 weeks so will be interesting to see what I can do now I'm pregnant. I also had trouble walking during my first pregnancy but I was a couch potato earlier this year so I'm hoping what I've been doing might help with this one.

I had an 8 wk scan in January and it cost £95. My husband was not impressed. I've found a company with locations all over the country called Window to the Womb - not sure if it's any good as the 5 star reviews do say they were made to write a review before they left but it's £69 which is slightly better. What part of the country do you live in?

puravida31 · 24/06/2018 10:58

Hello ladies could I tentatively join please? We got our BFP yesterday but so scared of jinxing it! According to Ovia’s calculator I’m 4 weeks today with a due date of 3rd March, which is bittersweet as thats my dad’s birthday (he sadly died a few years ago). Symptom wise I’m shattered in the evenings & falling asleep by 9pm every night, but annoyingly waking up really early, wide awake for no reason! 7am this morning! Very very unlike me! How’s everyone else doing?

Htaylor182 · 24/06/2018 11:00

Cautiously joining too, AF isnt due till wed but been testing + for about a week now and line is getting more darker then the control line! Roughly works out dd is 6th March. Excited but worried! Tempted to go private for an early scan as seems what everyone is doing. Glad im not the only one worrying!!

Due March 2019
ladycarlotta · 24/06/2018 11:06

@puravida31 me too! My eyes ping open at 7 or earlier, and by 9 I'm dropping off on the sofa. It's like I just changed time zone.

welcome @hamandpease @olivia2019, I expect our March baby ranks will continue to swell as the month goes on. Wishing everyone a happy pregnancy, it's nice to know I have a cohort of people to go through this with.

hamandpease · 24/06/2018 11:31

@mostimproved they seem to be available for £49 upward although the clinic I looked at would be £80 ish for a first scan. They are available 6 weeks onward but I'd like to wait til 8 as the statistics are much better then to help you relax. I'm in the north though but I spend a lot of time in london and also looked there and they're not too much more

hamandpease · 24/06/2018 11:32

@RedRobin7 I wish I was hungry Envy xxx

hamandpease · 24/06/2018 11:34

@puravida31 the early waking is really getting to me, 4.30-5 some mornings.

Weekends have been easier just had a 3.5 hour nap!!

hamandpease · 24/06/2018 11:35

@ladycarlotta thank you!

(I will now focus on not replying to everyone individually bumping the post!!)

RedRobin7 · 24/06/2018 11:36

@hamandpease It's quite weird feeling queasy and hungry at the same time! I also don't want to become the size of a house by constantly snacking!

Welcome to all the new people today 😊 Fingers crossed for us all!

Bozley47 · 24/06/2018 11:50

Welcome all newcomers and congratulations! I’m not hungry at all really except when queasy when all I want is fruit. Find I feel really full after eating a small amount though.
Also feeling very puffy already in my waistband but I know you show earlier in a second pregnancy!

Undecided about an early private scan as hubby doesn’t want me to spend the money especially as we will have to save lots during this pregnancy as I’m no longer full time so my maternity leave wage will be much smaller than it was last time. 😬 but totally worth it if it all works out ok!
