I'm 10-11DPO and just had BFP on a digital. I know it's incredibly early but looking at a due date March 3rd 2019!

Congratulations @CobaltRose! Welcome to the March-ers 😊

@ladycarlotta and @Emmafh3 Thanks for all your thoughts. Much appreciated and will just have to see how things go.

Re exercise I have every intention to continue exercising as before, but not go to hard. Hubby and I are leaving on Friday for a week riding our bikes in the French alps. It's my argument that if my little bean can't hold tight while I'm riding my bike, maybe it's not the right bean! After all. In 9 months time it'll have a helmet on and be strapped onto a bike 😂 (jokes)

ladycarlotta · 26/06/2018 14:31

darn right @frankiefumbles! My understanding is that if it was something you did before pg, there's no reason you can't keep doing it during, maybe with modifications. A mate of mine was still cycling huge distances at 38 weeks. Bean's just gonna have to hang on.

Congratulations @CobaltRose and welcome to the squad!

frankiefumbles · 26/06/2018 14:33

@CobaltRose sorry I didn't mean to ignore the other part of your post. A lot of us here seem to have previous miscarriages or chemical pregnancies so there is some discussion about that here already. Sorry to hear it didn't go well before. Try to keep positive but it's natural to be nervous. You've done well to conceive again so soon - it's taken my periods over 6 months to settle down again.

Emmafh3 · 26/06/2018 14:36

Congrats @cobaltrose, I see you're also a serial tester 😉

Oooohh the alps 😍 a lovely little French bean

CobaltRose · 26/06/2018 14:45

@Emmafh3, yup. Grin I took an eBay cheapie last night and got the faintest of faint lines, but I threw it away thinking it was an evap/BFN! I then went out and got FRERs and Clearblue Early Detection and got the results you see above!

That's okay @frankiefumbles. Yeah, we feel lucky that I was able to conceive again so quickly. My periods returned to normal within four weeks of my miscarriage. I'm fairly young though (early 20s). In the TTC Facebook group I'm in, there are many women who have been trying for years. The two and a half months it took us was hard enough, so I cannot imagine trying for years. Sad

Emmafh3 · 26/06/2018 14:58

2 and a half to conceive the first time?
The waiting to conceive and waiting to see if its viable is horrible. But yay we've all got this far!

I remember digging out my thought to be bfn out the bin and seeing the actual faint lines from ebay cheapies! 🙈 Won't show you the stash of faint line positive ebay ones for this pregnancy... Its almost embarrassing

frankiefumbles · 26/06/2018 15:00

@ladycarlotta
Controversially I want to do an Ironman at what will be week 12. Just have to see how I feel and whether I think it's easily within what I can do. Obviously wouldn't do anything daft/crazy. How far was she cycling? 🙈

@CobaltRose I didn't believe my first test either. In fact I still don't believe the clear blue. I'm saving my "last" clearblue for a week or so in the hope my HCG will rise and I'll see the 2-3/3+ text on the next one. Trying not to test constantly but I just dislike uncertainty!

CobaltRose · 26/06/2018 15:09

@Emmafh3, the pregnancy I lost was actually unplanned (contraceptive failure!).

pushit · 26/06/2018 15:46

I've just been to the dr for a sore throat that won't go, and obviously told her about being pregnant. She said to book in with midwife but at my surgery the midwives don't see you until 10 weeks. Is it like that everywhere? I've got an appointment on the 1st Aug...

Emmafh3 · 26/06/2018 15:52

You can try to insist and cry a little, might help book you in a little early?
Mine book in at 8 weeks earliest, and in the place I lived with dd I was booked in about 5 weeks routinely and had a scan at 6 for bleeding.

ladycarlotta · 26/06/2018 16:24

@pushit my midwife centre book you in asap - just made an appointment myself Smile is yours attached to the gp surgery and do you HAVE to use them? And yes, when all else fails, have a cry.
@frankiefumbles she definitely pootled London to Brighton, which to my mind is MAD but was no biggie to her although really don't know how she kept her balance. She was probably 36 weeks actually. If you feel good enough by then, Ironman would be a pretty kickass thing to do.

frankiefumbles · 26/06/2018 16:30

I booked a standard appointment with the Dr who dealt with me last time. He said I should just book in with him if I got pregnant again. Receptionist didn't ask me at all so I didn't tell her. Which would be 7+4 on 18th. I still don't believe I'll have it still by then, but one has to keep positive

frankiefumbles · 26/06/2018 16:31

@ladycarlotta I think I'll be off the bike by 30 weeks at the latest, but we will see. Hoping my swimming will improve!

Emmafh3 · 26/06/2018 16:34

Depends how big your bump is! And if it's a little breach thing that sits in your ribs 😑

frankiefumbles · 26/06/2018 16:36

@Emmafh3 I've put my order in for a small (but healthy!) one...I reckon it's a girl. I can feel it in my bowels 😂

Emmafh3 · 26/06/2018 19:35

Got a 50/50 chance to be right @frankiefumbles!

RedRobin7 · 26/06/2018 19:39

@CobaltRose Welcome! My FRERs were almost identical to yours. That was two days before my period was due. I didn't test again with those just used a CB digital the next day. I didn't want to believe it either. Still hasn't sunk in really. I've also got one more CB left which I'll use next week to check it's gone up. It's such a shame MC makes us anxious but the stats are in our favour.

@pushit I wouldn't worry, they all vary. I've previously had my midwife booking in appointment at 9 weeks and she sent my details to the hospital that day and then the following day I got my scan date in the post from the hospital. It was relatively quick.

I'm feeling so bloated but I think that's because I've been snacking more and haven't been to the gym in weeks. Going to try to have a light session on Monday. I do worry though that if I continue to go and start getting a visible bump people will judge me.

ladycarlotta · 26/06/2018 19:40

My bowels say this one is a boy... I don't know why. My bowels have often been wrong.

My grandmother has five (5) great-grandsons already, and not a single gt-granddaughter, so if this is the case she will be livid. Not that there is anything objectively wrong with boys, but she has no filter any more.

frankiefumbles · 26/06/2018 20:06

@ladycarlotta 😂😂😂 I hope you took your duty seriously and you get it "right". Otherwise obliged to try again ;)

@RedRobin7 absolutely #### anyone who judges you in a gym. Ive "intentionally" developed a little cake belly over the last few months which I feel will do me proud when it comes to those early days. It's my thought that you should keep moving as long as you can. That said today I've been totally wiped out in a sicky snoozy blur so I can totally get why you may not be blasting it out at the gym!

Emmafh3 · 26/06/2018 22:13

@redrobin7, if they start judging you at the gym in 20 something weeks time just stick a cigarette in your mouth and ask for a light... Give em a real show!
Please don't light it though 😩

But really I imagine they wouldn't judge. I love seeing prego women moving and keeping healthy!

Bozley47 · 27/06/2018 08:00

Got a 2-3 weeks on a CB digital this morning. Really need to stop this POAS obsession but can’t help it!! Got the maternity clothes out the attic from last time too to see if anything still fits. Hope you’re all feeling ok this morning x

OP posts:
hamandpease · 27/06/2018 08:04

@Bozley47 I'm really trying to make yesterday my last POAS day

I'm now 4+5 and I've know since 3+3 so I've got ages to wait for anything else!

Bozley47 · 27/06/2018 08:09

@hamandpease my midwife is going on my LMP instead of my OPK results so she says they have to count me as 6+4 pregnant instead of the 4+3 I know I am! so I will most likely get a scan when I’m about 10 weeks. I’m pleased as it means less time to wait!!
Still can’t believe it’s happened naturally when my cycles are so all over the place!

Bozley47 · 27/06/2018 08:09

And I still have one more digi to do next wed when hopefully it will say 3+!!

frankiefumbles · 27/06/2018 08:15

@Bozley47 don't tempt me!!!!! I think we are pretty much on the same day and now I'm tempted to do another test in case mine has also changed to the next level up 😂😂😂 I've got test envy...and the test is right here! How will I resist!!!!
