I'm 10-11DPO and just had BFP on a digital. I know it's incredibly early but looking at a due date March 3rd 2019!

Wow @Windmill1828 are you having twins?!

@ladycarlotta yep I'm feeling pretty sick already which I didn't really get with my last pregnancy. I was so relaxed about it all last time round, whereas now I feel a lot more anxious about how things will go, what I should be doing/eating etc.

Windmill1828 · 22/06/2018 14:25

@mostimproved @ladycarlotta
Today's my first massively darker than control line test and I'm guessing today I'm somewhere about 800/900 ish? (Beta)

How far along are we all?
I'm 4+3 (wow that's the first time I've written that! 😄)

mostimproved · 22/06/2018 17:18

I'm 4 weeks today, which feels weird as it's only 2 weeks since ovulation but at least it makes me feel more pregnant than I am, if that makes any sense at all?!

Velcro88 · 22/06/2018 17:35

@Windmill1828 wow, no confusion in that pic!! Amazing. Hoping mine tomorrow looks something like that but might still be early days for me!

I think I'm 3+6. @mostimproved I agree, I feel so much more pregnant with those numbers! Haha.

@ladycarlotta I felt super nauseous this morning, it woke me up but then it passed and I've been ok. Definitely something going on down there 👇!

Tinker315b · 22/06/2018 18:05

I’m 3+6 aswell 😊 Had really bad nausea and diarrhoea(tmi) from Tues-yesterday and today I’m actually ok! Will anyone go for an early private scan or just wait until your appointment comes through? I still can’t quite believe it x

Velcro88 · 22/06/2018 18:13

@Tinker315b high five for the 3+6 crew! 🙌

I'll wait for the nhs scan I think. You? Although I might have to buy more tests to keep me going!! I feel like it's my way of keeping in touch with the little bean and helping me to understand that it is actually real. I can't quite believe I'm pregnant! Sounds so mad.

Mamabear4180 · 22/06/2018 19:01

I'm also 3+6! @mostimproved it does sound better when you think 4 weeks already!

Congrats @Windmill1828!

I had felt sick earlier, unreal! I didn't feel nauseous until at least 5 weeks with my other 3 pregnancies. Hope it's a good sign!

I'm only going to do one more test despite not yet getting a strong line. AF would be due monday and I have one FRER left so that will be my final test day. I think once you know you know and it will drive me mad Grin

Tinker315b · 22/06/2018 19:07

@Velcro88 @Mamabear4180 not be long until we say 4 weeks!

I think I’ll wait on the nhs one also unless anything changes before then. I know it’s crazy, little baby is only the size of a chia seed at the moment!

ladycarlotta · 22/06/2018 19:21

I'm missing out on 3+6 crew by a scant day, I'm 4 weeks exactly.

Registered with GP today so will be making an appointment asap - erm, just realised I have no clue what comes next! I had a scan with a previous pregnancy at 4-5 weeks, but there were already concerns so I assume that isn't standard? If an NHS scan is on offer before 12 weeks I'll definitely take it.

Bozley47 · 22/06/2018 19:39

I may get a private scan depending on symptoms and how I feel. I’m 3+6 too. Still hasn’t sunk in!

I was very sick on the day I got my first bfp and have been feeling queasy and knackered since then. Hard work running around after a toddler!

Tinker315b · 22/06/2018 20:26

Yea I got my bfp on Tuesday which was 10dpo done another 6 the next morning and then rang the gp and she got me in that same morning! So just do nothing now until my first antenatal appointment. I can’t beleive it either!

thefirsttimer · 22/06/2018 22:19

Wow Windmill that is an impressive line! Twins came to mind to me too?!

I'm feeling sick too lady and most - glad to hear it's not just me. I wonder if a little anxiety is playing a part though!

I'm in the exactly 4 weeks today gang with lady Smile. Planning to phone my GP surgery on Monday to find out what the process is. Also been looking at early reassurance scans, they seem to be offered from 6 weeks?

pushit · 22/06/2018 23:45

Hi, I'm due early March. Got a faint line on Father's Day 😍 then turned so moody I thought

pushit · 22/06/2018 23:47

I was going crazy. Been trying for 18months for no. 2 and so used to my period turning up. Tested loads since and line is getting darker.

Anyone else keep feeling cold all the time? Apparently it's a pregnancy thing!! My arms get freezing at the slightest breeze.

ladycarlotta · 22/06/2018 23:50

Ugh, so I went online to book an appointment with the brand new GP and the soonest they have is the 13th July! By which time I'll be 7 weeks. I've booked it but that seems a crazy wait. Is there any sense in calling up for an on-the-day appointment to be seen sooner? Probably my little ball of cells is not a high priority case but I want to be sure I'm doing everything right.

pushit · 22/06/2018 23:56

Yes @ladycarlotta - get a day appointment. They aren't just for urgent stuff. You probably need your booking in appointment with midwife in time to get your 12week scan booked and waiting that long would be cutting it a bit fine!

Velcro88 · 23/06/2018 09:36

@ladycarlotta jeeez that's a wait! I'd just phone them and ask their advice - they might be able to offer something different and some ladies don't even find out until then I guess! So hard to wait though, I'll be 6 weeks before I see mine and that seems far enough away! So long as you're taking your folic acid you should be fine 🙂. No trampolining or MMA!

Tested again this morning, line's getting darker! AF would have been due Sunday/Monday so that'll be the next milestone! Building up to phoning mum but I'm getting nervous!

@pushit Now you say about the cold, yes!! That makes so much sense. It's been so sunny out and I've been shivering; thought I was just being a big wet blanket. Thanks for the excuse!!

thefirsttimer · 23/06/2018 09:54

Hi pushit congratulations!

lady I'd say definitely go for an on the day appointment, that seems a bit too far away. Apparently in my area you don't even need a GP appointment, just ask to be referred to the community midwife team who then contact you about booking in. Seems sensible to not have to see a GP too, although waiting until 8 weeks to see any HCP is going to feel like forever.

ladycarlotta · 23/06/2018 10:05

@velcro88, no trampolining! Ugh, what a swizz. Not that I have any plans to trampoline, but I resent not having the option. I thought I understood the pg deal pretty well, but now it all applies to me I am AGHAST. I keep finding stuff I can't have - hot tubs, brie, liver (I had planned lebanese chicken livers for dinner on the day I got my BFP).

It's my cousin's wedding today and tbh I could do with drinking through it - my dad's family can be quite fraught - wondering if half a glass of bubbles to toast would be OK. I don't want to drink at all in first trimester, but feels like a dead giveaway not to.

thanks guys for the advice. I'll phone the surgery and see what they say.

Windmill1828 · 23/06/2018 10:14

Hi ladies, so it seems I'm the most far gone one on here - yaaaaay at my 4 weeks 4 days! 😂😂😂

I've been deliberating about booking in too. I have my first scan (private) (ivf) on July 13th and was wondering if I should wait till then before booking in and/or if I did would I miss my 12 week scan as I booked in late.
Got a holiday to Greece booked in at exactly 12 weeks so it would be nice to get that scan in before we go. I've read that flying is ok before 28weeks so I'll keep everything crossed!

I have no sickness as yet but I know it's still early days. I'm actually looking forward to it (I know that won't last) so I know I'm still preggers!!! 😂

ladycarlotta · 23/06/2018 10:38

@windmill1828, yeah I think flying is totally fine - some airlines let you go up to 36 weeks with a dr's note, it's mostly that they just don't want you giving birth on the plane. If you were doing loads of long-haul flights then radiation builds up, but it would have to be LOADS as flight attendants can still work while pg. I have to fly to America for work in July so I've been swotting up...

I'm also looking forward to the sickness. As perverse as that sounds. Bring it on.

mostimproved · 23/06/2018 11:46

@thefirsttimer it’s the same where I am (London), if you know where you want to give birth you just self refer straight to the hospital and then tell your GP afterwards which seems sensible as the GP doesn’t really do much when you see them anyway.

I am so exhausted right now - I love my sleep normally, but this is something else! I am about to have a nap already as I just can’t stay awake. Has anyone else got this yet?

thefirsttimer · 23/06/2018 13:04

Most that was the first sign I had even before the BFP! Haven't been able to get through a day without at least one nap since around 9dpo! It's only going to get worse as well Shock

Velcro88 · 23/06/2018 13:19

@ladycarlotta I had a glass of white wine and some Camembert last weekend before I knew! Think the verdict on small amounts of booze is out at the mo but I'm sure half a glass would be fine - especially if supped over an hour or something! Might be better than the stress 😂. All the things we're not supposed to have is nuts! I'm trying to find what the advice is like in different countries... I might have to pretend I'm French!
