I'm 10-11DPO and just had BFP on a digital. I know it's incredibly early but looking at a due date March 3rd 2019!

My hcg has gone from 275 to 672 in 48 hours, so a 144% increase Grin Beyond thrilled! That’s the first hurdle overcome, next will be a scan in 2 weeks.

Currently sat in my fertility centre trying to get my £ back for the cycle I haven’t commenced due to this surprise natural pregnancy.

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 26/07/2018 11:47

@Sictransitgloria it's my first pregnancy so I have no idea how I'm supposed to feel. But I don't feel pregnant either. I'm considering an early scan because I'm convinced I'm going to get to the 12 week one and they'll tell me there's nothing there.

Angelmiracle · 26/07/2018 12:22

@Sictransitgloria Hiya! Good to see you on the March board! Symptoms are coming in waves for me. Beginning of the week had heavy painful boobs and diarrhoea (tmi) and ovary twinges. Today feel completely normal which is unsettling. Though always have sore boobs at bedtime. I was 8 weeks along with DS before I got my BFP and symptoms literally started then!

Angelmiracle · 26/07/2018 12:26

@Elizabeth134 hi congratulations 🎉 Im due 24th!

I seen GP after I got my BFP and community midwife on Monday at 5+1 - it was quite pointless she just took my blood pressure and noted my dates. I was referred for my booking in appointment 4th Sept.

I think 6-8 weeks is ideal for early scanning. I haven't booked one. Not sure if I'll bother. But that seems to be the range most ladies get a private scan.

Wishing you a healthy pregnancy 🤞

HidCat · 26/07/2018 12:38

@VillageFete fingers crossed they give it to you!

Sictransitgloria · 26/07/2018 19:41

Thank you all ❤️

Having a wobble. Had a mc in Nov 17 and think I’m just worried this one may not stick. But I can’t change anything so need to just accept this as it is.

@whatlearningcurve yes it is Brand New and there are more fans on mumsnet than I ever thought there would be! 😂

Sunandsea1 · 26/07/2018 20:57

Hi guys,

I just need to winch a bit. I just feel quite sick, not so much nausea but tired, no appetite, totally washed out. Anyone else in this boat? Don't really know I could feel so sick, I was prepared for nausea but not this I feel I am hungover after having the flu...

WhatALearningCurve · 26/07/2018 21:15

@Sunandsea1 I totally feel your pain. The only way I've been able to describe how I feel is like the exhaustion that comes after the nausea of a hangover. Mixed with jet lag. Mixed with general sleep deprivation. I would almost (almost being the operative word) swap it for full sickness. At least that would be physical and wouldn't make me feel/seem like I was being dramatic

I'm not saying you ladies with sickness have it better in anyway shape or form. I just think it would help with my sanity slightly!

@Sictransitgloria amazing - a whole new generation of fans!

VillageFete · 26/07/2018 22:06

Does anyone know what i’m likely to see on my scan next week if all is well? On the day of my scan i’ll be classed as 5 weeks 6 days, but really the fetal age will only be 3 weeks 6 days. What should I hope for?

Angelmiracle · 26/07/2018 23:54

@VillageFete that's a fab hcg level 😊

BuffaloGiraffe · 27/07/2018 00:45

Hello! Tentatively sneaking onto the back of the bus, with a edd of March 30th. I’ll be high risk again though, so probably won’t get past mid March.

Congratulations to you all! How are you feeling? My nausea always starts the week before period is due, so I have that already and one very sore heavy breast, no idea what the other is doing - I actually thought I was going to have a period this month, but here I am and beyond delighted.

Angelmiracle · 27/07/2018 07:19

@BuffaloGiraffe welcome and congratulations!! I had very few symptoms but they kicked in when I got my BFP but been feeling pretty normal last couple of days. Yes on the one heavy boob thing - mine like to mix it up and alternate from one to the other being really heavy 😆

Sunandsea1 · 27/07/2018 07:55

I had an early pregnancy scan last week when I thought I was 6 weeks 3 days. They only saw a gestational sac and hold sac, told me I am probably more 6 weeks (which according to my research on sac sizes was actually not right more like 5 weeks 4 days) and that the pregnancy could be 50%successful or 50% not successful. I wanted this to be a reassurance scan which obviously have no reassurance at all. I went to another USS yesterday he dated me 6 weeks, fetal pole present heart beat seen. In retrospect I would have not gone for an early scan that early and would tell anyone unless you have symptoms like abdominal pain, bleeding etc not to have it that early. If it is just for reassurance go closer to 8 week mark otherwise you can be left in limbo and that is not pleasant.

Hurradieweltgehtunter · 27/07/2018 08:35

Hello, new here. First pregnancy at 38yo after 2.5 years of trying. Partner has poor quality sperm. (Turns out I was pregnant at time of first fertility appointment at hospital where they decided to xray my tubes then offer us IVF if all clear!) Trying not to get too excited just in case, but if it sticks then baby due 31st March. Conceived via DIY needless syringe at home - 5 attempts over fertile period!
Only symptoms so far are waking up early every day, bit queasy and not as interested in food, sore boobs, peeing quite a bit.

BuffaloGiraffe · 27/07/2018 09:22

Thank you, @Angelmiricle. So glad I’m not the only one with odd boobs, I do not remember this from before at all, it was both or nothing. Is this your first?

@Sunandsea1, I’m so sorry you didn’t get the reassurance you sought the first time, but congratulations so pleased you saw a tiny heartbeat the second try. The first 12 weeks are such a rollercoaster!

Congratulations, @Hurradie and welcome. I have everything crossed for you that this works out.

HidCat · 27/07/2018 09:42

@Sunandsea1 I'm glad it worked out in the end but what a worry you must have had.

@Hurradieweltgehtunter congratulations on your bfp, it sounds like you've had a hell of a journey. I sincerely hope this is the one for you.

AtHe5292 · 27/07/2018 10:50

Hi guys. Started to get a really gurgling stomach that growls and makes me feel really hungry even though I’ve just eaten!! Anyone else got this?
Also I have started to feel really queasy when I take my folic acid!
There was me saying I had no symptoms yet. Tempted fate!!
Xxx

angel0071987 · 27/07/2018 13:17

I have to take my pregnacy vitamin with food otherwise they make me puke.
Seem to be worse in evenings which works well with DS bedtime thankfully. Just woozy somewhat during day. But that's because I have low blood pressure which the midwife said at my booking appointment isn't a worry. Only high is. I beg to differ if I can't stand up properly without fainting. But heyho

ballanj · 27/07/2018 14:41

@AtHe5292

I always take my pregnancy vitamin after my main meal, on a full stomach. I found they gave me a stomach ache otherwise. Also, they turned my urine radioactive yellow 😂 but I'm told that's common. They did also block me up but with this heat and ever since I found out I'm pregnant (a little under 8 weeks gone now) my bowels are looser. Sorry if that's too much info! My symptoms are fluctuating at the moment. Had some twinges but those have stopped for the time being. Mine are mainly the urge to pee a lot and I've got very disinterested in food whereas I'm one of life's eaters who eats everything in sight. I've gone right off meat and all I want is cold food (that might be the heat though!) xx

Kate2930 · 27/07/2018 14:58

I’m due on the 3rd of March and have only just found out at 7 weeks!

TheOneWithTheBaby · 27/07/2018 16:44

@Sunandsea1, that sounds like such a scary experience. I'm sorry you went though that but glad to hear you've had some reassurance now.

@ballanji, I don't think anything is TMI here! Mine were loser at Rost but now I'm really blocked up. I hadn't considered it could be the vitamins at all!

@kate2930 congratulations! How are you feeling?

I'm going on holiday soon, will be around 8 weeks. It's an all inclusive place and I'm a bit worried about the buffet food. I know they say no pre washed salad etc but that's mostly the sort of stuff I eat on a summer holiday. Can I eat the salad from the buffet and the pre cut fruit? I'll stick to bottled water but ice cubes and drinks they prepare might not be bottled?

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 27/07/2018 16:56

Sorry for the blunt, gross question but does anyone know if you can take senna laxatives? It says to consult doctor if pregnant on the packet but I'm not sure if that's just the manufacturers covering themselves. I'm getting a bit desperate. Nothing else seems to be working.

Kate2930 · 27/07/2018 17:09

I’m very worried, we have waited about 18 months for this. I honestly believe it, i took 4 tests and it still feels unreal.

I have booked us in for a early scan next week just to put my mind at rest. I’m so worried about miscarriages, missed miscarriages and ectopic pregnancy’s and what if it’s all in Munich head.

I feel very fat too and gone off chocolate. But overall okay!

Kate2930 · 27/07/2018 17:11

My head*

Angelmiracle · 27/07/2018 17:24

@BuffaloGiraffe This is no.2!! After 5 years ttc! No I do not remember this with DS they were both equally in agony. Then again I was 8 weeks along before I found out lol so 'missed' symptom spotting before that! Had looser bowels this AM just as I had to leave home 😫

Went to lunch with a friend a mistakenly ordered a panini with brie in it 🙈 had to send it back! I keep forgetting these things 😑
