Sorry 13th.

cryptonaut · 16/08/2018 17:06

Mmmm.... cake! Sounds like a good idea right now lol

I've not been comfortable lying on my side either. Makes my shoulder, hip, lower back and sometimes my leg hurt. Used to sleeping on my front and definitely can't do that anymore, seem to have ballooned in the past couple of weeks.

Also had headaches but I'm not great with drinking water so it could be that.

I had to move my scan due to work, so I've got it on 22nd instead of 30th now. Can't wait to see baby again and hoping all is good. Would like to know the sex too if they can find it. I like surprises but if I know ones coming I can't stand the wait lol

Seems like everyone's scans are fast approaching so fingers crossed for lots of healthy babies and good news.

GinGeum · 16/08/2018 17:23

Fuck Sad keep everything crossed for you

GinGeum · 16/08/2018 17:23

Keeping everything crossed

SuperVeggie · 16/08/2018 17:25

@FuckMyUterus I'm sorry that must be so horrible for you. Waiting is never nice. Are they not able to give you another scan a bit sooner? I would also maybe push to see a consultant if you haven't already seen/got one. They might at least be able to give you a bit more information. Fingers crossed for a good outcome and hope you are ok.

Quirkycutekitch2011 · 16/08/2018 17:37

FuckMyUterus sending you all the best and 🤞

FuckMyUterus · 16/08/2018 17:40

I already have a consultant, unfortunately there isn't much I or anyone else can do. Rest as much as possible, keep very well hydrated and hope and pray. I'm going to book a private scan for around the 18 week mark and hope and pray that something anything has changed by then.

Merrz · 16/08/2018 19:51

FuckMyUterus so sorry to ready that. What a worry, i can't even imagine. Everything crossed for you. Take care of yourself Flowers

doleritedinosaur · 16/08/2018 20:06

I’m so sorry @Fuckmyuterus I really hope the time passes quickly for you so you can find out what’s going on. Crossing everything for you.

sqoodles · 17/08/2018 05:21

I'm so sorry to read this fuck. Keeping everything crossed for you. Look after yourself xx

FuckMyUterus · 17/08/2018 09:29

Well I think my sanity saver is definitely my doppler. Baby is still moving about and heartbeat is a consistent 130-145 although he/she doesn't seem to like the sound of their own heartbeat, as the minute I find it, they jerk and move away.

FuckMyUterus · 18/08/2018 10:01

Sorry guys my depressing news seems to have killed the thread :(
How is everyone feeling?

GinGeum · 18/08/2018 10:16

Fuck I was just coming on to ask how you’re doing? It certainly puts things into perspective doesnt it? Since your post I haven’t been moaning so much about being tired/headachey/uncomfortable because really, we wouldn’t have it any other way, would we?

Buttercup53 · 18/08/2018 10:18

It hasn’t @fuckmyuterus don’t worry about that. This thread always seems to have loads of comments at once and then nothing for a while! How are you feeling today?

I had my 20 week scan yesterday and it turns out I’m having a boy! Feel really emotional about it, I had always pictured myself with a little girl, but now I’m extremely excited to bring this boy (my boy!) into the world and see everything through his eyes. Having to have more scans as his abdomen is in the 95th centile while the rest of him is in the 50th-ish, trying not to worry about it as midwife told me not to, and googling just seems to indicate that he’s gonna be a big baby. Got the GTT test at 30 weeks but imagine they’ll want to bring that forward now, hopefully I’ve understood everything correctly, no one ever seems to really explain anything, just give you news in words you don’t know then say ‘don’t worry’.

GinGeum · 18/08/2018 10:34

Congrats Buttercup! I’m secretly still hoping for a boy although I just know she’s going to be a girl!

FuckMyUterus · 18/08/2018 10:57

gingeum I'm doing well thank you, drinking like a fish and checking the baby's heartbeat twice a day like a mad lady.
buttercup oh! Congratulations :) boys are better as babies anyway, much easier and calmer ; ) I've booked a private scan for 1st September, and if baby is still hanging on, we'll find out the sex.

doleritedinosaur · 18/08/2018 12:42

@fuckmyuterus you definitely haven’t killed the thread. Hope you’re doing okay.

Congratulations @buttercup I have to say boys are definitely easier than girls! Not that I’ve had a girl yet but going by friends girls.

I’m trying to type but my two Ds’s are kicking off, got given balloons & it’s all gone downhill.
I definitely look pregnant now though & not fat so that’s a positive.

Merrz · 18/08/2018 13:40

Hope you're managing to stay positive fuck It definitley puts things into perspective and reminds you that we're not there yet!
I can't wait to get 20 week scan done and hopefully find out all is ok. I'm a bit worried by my lack of bump Confused my normal clothes are very tight so there's something there but it's really not very obvious.

FuckMyUterus · 18/08/2018 13:45

merrz it does, it's so hard not to moan and whinge, but the second I do, I feel incredibly guilty and imagine how I'll feel if in a few weeks I have nothing to moan about anymore :(

Merrz · 18/08/2018 14:07

It's a heartbreaking thought Sad I have everything crossed for you.

FuckMyUterus · 18/08/2018 17:13

Thank you, it really means a lot. So far, baby seems happy enough, heartbeat sounds nice and strong, regular accelerations and can hear kicks on the doppler too, so fingers crossed the fluid is replenishing.

littlebug19 · 18/08/2018 17:19

I'm 25 and currently 19 weeks with my first baby, who we found out yesterday is a little boy. V exciting times! I'm still struggling with the tiredness and lack of energy but am aware it's only going to get harder the further along I get...help!

I'm already firmly in my maternity jeans and leggings, I'm definitely showing and feel huge but apparently this is because my placenta is lying at the front - meaning I don't really feel baby move yet. Anyone else like this?

Really sorry to hear your post @fuckmyuterus, keeping everything crossed for you and hope that there is some good news on the 13th Flowers

FuckMyUterus · 18/08/2018 18:07

littlebug I have an anterior placenta too. Thanks, fingers crossed it will correct itself! Hope the tiredness eases for you soon, mine is still crippling me!

GinGeum · 19/08/2018 07:12

So for the last few weeks of feeling baby move, it has been very stubborn and stopped moving the second I either look at my belly, or rest a hand on it. Until last night when it finally gave in, and for a good hour while lying in bed, I could feel so many kicks with my hand! I didn’t expect this so soon. Of course, baby waited until DH had fallen asleep so he hasn’t felt it yet, but hopefully it will do a repeat performance tonight.

Wowthisisreal · 19/08/2018 08:47

@GinGeum amazing! How far along are you? 😊
