Greedy ideas what ideas?! LOL!

Honeyapple I started having nightmares about having LO on the kitchen floor on my OWN with 2 DS's playing outside! I started getting worried and MNer's said maybe having a home birth planned/booked the worry/nightmares would go and they did! So come midnight I will just have a number to phone and that's it, MW comes to me and so on!

KitKat30 · 12/07/2007 13:21

Bloody hell ... I go for one meeting and come back to penises, masturbation and mutal rubbing... There's no way I'm looking up frottage on my work PC! I'm sure that's a sackable offence...

KitKat30 you love it really!

MrsMc so glad you saw LO's HB and moving about feels great doesn't it, cant wait to see pic!

Got so much done today cant believe it, ironing all done, shopping done, cleaning (what I had planned to do) done, oh and the best bit I even got my toe nails done I think I might go for a little walk soon, then a nap later before DH comes home

BabyMadandBIGbump · 12/07/2007 16:02

Just downed half a pineapple in 20 mins, i'll have the other half after tea and just before , I think I'm on a high today I was singing out loud (maybe why it started raining ) when I went for my hour long walk !

greedygreedyguzzler · 12/07/2007 17:27

you DO seem a bit hyper babymad!!!!! calm down!!!!! were your 2 ds's early or on time or late? i hope you aren't pinning too much on this lo coming out early, dont want you to get disappointed.

mrs - i only commented that i read about your scan on another thread for choosters benefit, i wasn't moaning at you for not thinking of us first!!!!!!!

fettle - i meant to ask you the other day....how was your liver problem discovered last time? did you have symptoms or was it the 28wk bloods?

honeyapple · 12/07/2007 17:31

Mrs- funny you are refering to LO as skeletor- DD has named this LO 'Peter Skeleton Head' since she was with us at 22 wk scan!

Babymad- calm down!

honeyapple · 12/07/2007 17:32

No idea where the Peter comes from.... don't think I will be letting her choose the first name somehow.

MrsMcJnr · 12/07/2007 17:37

PMSL Honeyapple

Babymad - you do seem a bit hyper...

Greedy -

greedygreedyguzzler · 12/07/2007 17:43

my kids keep calling my bump 'strawberry shortcake' or banana cake!'....................dont ask!.......they are both a bit odd!.......and they quite obviously get that trait from their daddy!

MrsMcJnr · 12/07/2007 17:45

.. you didn't give them your stash of strawberry shortcake dolls did you...

MrsMcJnr · 12/07/2007 17:46

Told my Mum that Beanie's new name is Skeletor and she is now calling it Scaletrix - think something got lost in text translation!

BabyMadandBIGbump · 12/07/2007 17:46

].

BabyMadandBIGbump · 12/07/2007 17:47

DS's were born at 39 weeks, not pinning all my hopes, I know that if a baby doesn't want to come then it just simply wont, Just nice trying .

fettleandminifettle · 12/07/2007 19:24

My goodness me, you lot have talked a lot today!! I could barely catch up!!!

Firstly - congrat MRS on the great scan - I'm sorry they spoilt it for you a bit though. My hospital were pretty understanding when I said that i didn't want any invasive tests with my history. Hopefully next week's scan will be better on that front for you both. But great that Scalelectrix is looking fine and dandy!

Frottage - even my DH didn't know what that was - he just Wikipedia-ed it and apparently it is non-penetrative sex. So anything goes really as long as you don't penetrate any orifice!!

Sorry, can't really remember what you were all up to today!

Greeds - liver condition shows itself by uncontrollably itchy soles of your feet and palms of your hands due to the excess of bile acide being laid down there as your body can't get rid of it. But this diagnosed by very specialist blood tests (only 2 hospitals in the country could test for bile acids in blood when I was pg with DD!). Got my consultant's appointment a week on Tuesday so see what he says then - not much if last time is anything to go by. Had MW today, all ok. Still measuring spot on, so I hope your elephant has stopped growing a bit Greeds! Have bloods next week.

Kitkat - I have swollen feet and ankles too and as someone said if they go down overnight and you have no other symptoms it is probably just one of those pgncy things. But defo mention to MW if worried. I've never worried much, as my urine is clear and BP is very low normally!

Babymad - good luck tonight - hope DP is prepared for his night ahead!!!

I'm hoping my labour is as easy as last time, but I'm kind of feeling that I;ve been put in a false sense of security for how easy it was, as I was induced, so my contractions were closer and stronger than normal as my drip had been set too high!! Also had no stitches or anything and she came out a dream, so I'm doubly worried about this time!!

Right, DD is nicely asleep already - the joys of being home early for my appointment, so I have to go cook supper now.

big hugs to all.
xxx

morning girls

Had the most vivid dream that I had had the baby... it was so real! I even was dreaming about logging on to tell all you guys about it. Baby had come early, and I wasnt prepared... only had one nappy... and didnt have any wraps for my reusable ones so they leaked everywhere. .

Mrs- BTW I dont think that your Downs risk was that high- are you having blood results too? High risk has to be 1:250 which even that doesnt sound very high to me. Annoying that the doctor was funny about you not wanting any invasive tests... totally your right, some doctors havent got a clue about people's emotions when they are PG. Good that your DH is supporting you in these decisions. i think my DP might have been more keen to have an amnio if we had had a high risk result.

Babymad- how was the sex? Did you knacker your DP out?

Bodders- how is Isla?
PinkB- how is Brooke? Looking forward to hearing from you both soon.

xx

BabyMadandBIGbump · 13/07/2007 09:22

NEWSFLASH

Today's the day for Chooster her waters broke at 1am and she is at the hospital contracting slowly having had her anti-biotics. When we spoke by text this morning at 7, she was in the car park walking around to hurry things up - I suggested jumping over the speed bumps might help - anyway, if I hear more, I'll let you know - so EXCITING!

MrsMcJnr · 13/07/2007 09:48

Hello Fettle thanks hon, I feel so excited about it all today going to treat us both to a Mexican bola this weekend ? I know LO won?t be able to hear it for a few more weeks but you never know I must be v innocent, how no idea what all this frottage stuff is about or why it got mentioned? Really hope the liver condition is much calmer this time round hon. Funny isn?t it how these Los catch up with the EDD based on LMP ? odd really! Am I right that that is what your EDD is based on?

Hello Honeyapple PMSL at your dream. I had one the other night that the baby was born, she was a girl with v dark hair and v bushy eyebrows like DH and I was trying to feed her myself but she was able to talk and somehow became my little sis when she was a moody teenager though stayed baby sized ? it made it very hard to concentrate on feeding her ? weird!! Hoping that the results won?t come back high for Downs. I did a bit of research and as long as the measurement is under 2.5 it should be ok (ours was 1.9) but I guess the background stats and the bloods now combine to come back with an overall score. The woman at the clinic (don?t think she was a Dr) said that anomaly scans can?t help at all with diagnosing Down?s therefore why have the nuchal. I explained that we wouldn?t end the pregnancy no matter what but if we are alerted to the fact that the baby may have Down?s and if the later scans show heart issues at least the medics will be aware of that and be able to take steps at birth.

PinkB ? I missed that you called your DD Brooke! that?s a lovely name hope all is well with you and your family x

Babymad ? go on race Chooster! how about you Firsty? Up for the challenge!

BabyMadandBIGbump · 13/07/2007 09:48

Nearly 12 hours since Chooster's waters broke - Bodkin doesn't seem like they have given Chooster one of your type of labours. It's a lovely warm, sunny day here in Edinburgh - hoping that Chooster is watching the sun shine on her lovely new boy as I write this!
