@keepinghopeful good luck let us know how you get on 💐

BloominMoomin89 · 18/04/2018 18:59

Thank you everyone. Got the oomph to ring and book booking in - friday at 2pm.
I moved my scan to next week as I'll feel more confident seeing an 8 plus 3 than 7 plus 3 if all is well. Just going to try working and keeping my head down another week Smile

keepinghopeful · 18/04/2018 20:16

LisaSimpsonsbff · 19/04/2018 10:03

Great news, keeping!

Feeling a bit funny today. Had a horrible, really vivid and graphic nightmare about losing this baby last night - which of course means nothing (as DH pointed out 'that sounds awful, but it's actually surprising you haven't had more of these dreams given how much it occupies your thoughts') but I'm finding really hard to just shake off and get on with my day.

NoCatsHere · 19/04/2018 11:36

That's great news keeping, so pleased for you.
lisa sorry your dream has ruined your day, hopefully you'll have a more peaceful sleep tonight.
My scan is tomorrow at 9.50 at the epu, I'll be 8+4 so about the time my mmc was discovered at, it'd be great to get past the milestone.

Snorebrown · 20/04/2018 13:31

Hoping today went well nocats

Paranormalbouquet · 20/04/2018 15:43

Can I hop on tentatively. Have had 3 consecutive miscarriages while ttc #2 (June 6 weeks, sept 5 weeks, Jan MMC at 9 weeks with failed medical management and ERPC eventually, complicated by infection).

Had planned surgery to remove adhesions in early May and a cervical cerclage as I have a damaged cervix. Had been using condoms coming up to it so was very surprised to find myself late this month. Was due last weekend so I’m 4+5 or so. Feel fine which worries me of course, but everything will worry me now I think!

NoCatsHere · 20/04/2018 18:08

Thanks snore yes thank goodness all was well today. They were so kind to me. They’ve moved me forward a bit so I’m measuring 9 weeks today. I feel relieved to have got to this stage and think I’ll be ok to wait to 12 weeks now.

Welcome paranormal sorry to hear your losses. Great news you are currently pregnant. Fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy.

Snorebrown · 20/04/2018 18:38

Welcome paranormal. Yay! Brilliant news nocats :0)

kirinm · 20/04/2018 19:27

So good to see to

kirinm · 20/04/2018 19:28

@Paranormalbouquet so pleased to see you here. I was with you in the September thread. Fingers and everything else crossed for you.

Snorebrown · 20/04/2018 19:48

I had my booking appointment today but it just felt too surreal like it was just pretend. The midwife was lovely but i didnt feel right...anyone else felr like this?

LisaSimpsonsbff · 20/04/2018 20:01

So pleased to see your good news nocats, and to hear that it's helped you feel a bit more confident. Welcome and congratulations paranormal.

Snore I feel like I'm pretending all the time. I still can't shake the feeling that 'I'm pregnant!' is a weird lie I've made up and that everyone is kindly going along with. I went to a work meeting the other day which is so infrequently held that no one there knew I was pregnant, so they all made a big fuss about my bump - I was stood there, baby kicking me and all, feeling like a lunatic fraud who had made up this strange lie and now dragged all these acquaintances into it! I found my booking appointment really hard, because it felt like such a waste of mine and everyone's time - a long medical appointment that didn't actually do anything to tell me if the pregnancy was ok or not just felt so pointless. I think it's a particularly hard one when you're anxious after loss, because it's about preparing for a future that you feel so unsure will happen.

Snorebrown · 20/04/2018 20:13

Thanks Lisa it helps to know its a feeling shared by others although im sad to hear you feel this way too. The midwife kept saying just try to enjoy it it goes so quickly. Each day feels like a year!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 20/04/2018 21:38

@Paranormalbouquet I was wondering about an update on this! Crazy how things work out when you're not actively trying sometimes
