Welcome everyone :)

I am feeling much more positive today, how is everyone else?

Fun day - currently waiting on a callback from MW as I've stupidly fell over. Luckily I landed on my bum but it was a bit of a thump and I'm a bit achey. Just hoping our little lady makes some movement as I'm pretty nervous, I'm sure it'll be okay but I don't want to risk missing anything, especially not now.

I feel so fucking dumb and I'm not even sure what happened, it was all just so fast. I'm sure work will be thrilled with me atm but there we go

Aww @UnicornsandRainbows1 that must have been a fright im sure she is well protected in there though and everything is perfect (apart from your sore bum)but its best to be safe bless. Hope you're ok.

Today and yesterday have been a lot better. Still slow but have managed some short walks and appetite is picking up (although I have loads of padding so no harm having a small appetite for a week!).

Unicorns you poor thing. Baby is well protected so all should be fine, but best to get in touch with midwife. If you are rhesus negative it might be an anti-d indication?

@Unicornsandrainbows1 don’t be so hard on youself. These things happen. Hopefully the MW will check you over and put your mind at rest. A nice warm bath and rest should sort your aches and pains out.

My spotting has just about stopped again. Had my scan appointment through the post today for the 2nd of July. I’ll be about 12+5 by then. Excited but nervous too. Heard so many awful stories.

@iswallowtoothpaste really know what you are going thru. Hope u can detract attention and keep busy until then.
@UnicornsandRainbows1 sorry to hear about the fall. I'm sure she's doing fine in there and it's def right thing to call midwife.
@Paranormalbouquet oh scan anxiety is the worst! Really hope it all goes well for you. Will be thinking of you and waiting for an update.
Congratulations @DBoo and @doleritedinosaur I never had any sickness in any of my pregnancies (successful or not) and sore boobs never featured too much either. By this last one I just ignored all the symptoms or lack of and waited for scans!! Or booked private ones to alay my fears.
Sort of sick of seeing scan pictures now!! ;)

Just reading through. You're all so lovely. Midwife never rang back but have kept an eye on the situation; still no bleeding, just a bit sore down there and lower tummy. Had a bath as she seems to be quite active in them and sure enough she was having little kicking questions.

Bit pissed off with the clinic though tbh

Thanks @intelligentPutty ive scrolled through mn to track my sickness in last two pregnancies and in the last one i posted at 8 or 9 weeks after a scan something along yhe lines of 'if i hadn't of had a scan my lack of symptoms would have me convinced i wasnt even pregnant' so yeah it seems it can be normal for me too. I need to stop worrying and enjoy.

@unicorn sounds positive but yes id be well pissed off at the clinic not very good service there.

@UnicornsandRainbows1 I fell really hard in the snow and ice in March when I was around 22 weeks. Grazed quite a bit of my left side. Thankfully I didn't hit bump, but I couldn't stop crying! Thankfully they are well protected in there. Movements are a great reassurance too. Hope you're ok.

Oh no! Sorry to hear you’ve had a fall @UnicornsandRainbows1 but like the others have said I’m sure your little lady is fine in there, best to check though just to make sure.

I’m feeling sick with nerves tonight for my 12 week scan tomorrow. My last scan was over 2 weeks ago and whilst everything was fine I can’t help but worry it won’t be tomorrow. Thankfully my scan is an early one so we should be the first appointment which will get it out the way.
I’ve opted to have the blood test done after which is always a nightmare as they can never find a vein so I tend to get moved around the hospital to have multiple people try to take my blood. I’ll be glad when it’s all over but I just want to know all is ok and the measurements are all normal.

@mummyjl15, good luck for tomorrow, fingers crossed everything is fine, I’m sure it will be!! They can never find my veins either! Had to have blood taken out of the back of my hand last Friday during my booking in appointment with the midwife.

@Paranormalbouquet thinking of you for tomorrow too! Hope you will be able to breathe a sigh of relief after the stressful couple of weeks you’ve had xxx

@mummyjl15 good luck to you tomorrow too. Fingers crossed we will both have good news. After a hospital stay with multiple blood tests and cannulas (despite it being so brief) there’s going to be serious trouble finding a vein tomorrow for me too. I may have to do it for them! (Healthcare professional who can get blood from a stone here!).

para and mummyj hope all goes well for your scans today. Will be thinking of you both.

Scan looked good. They were really gentle and the baby wouldn’t stay still so took a while but measuring 12w exactly, NT 1.2cm and heart rate 164. Was so relieved I forgot to ask for a photo!

Dressings off and wound looks fantastic, almost healed already. Surgeon arranged for me to have a special, expensive negative pressure dressing (battery operated) because he wanted to make sure I didn’t have problems with wound infections while pregnant and to promote healing as will be having section in a few months. I must thank him as they aren’t routinely used.

My scan went well today too. Measuring just over 12 weeks so due date 18th December. Yay!!

21st December, but will be a c section at 38 weeks touch wood. Harmony results next week; then I can try relax!

We’ll be very close all the way mummy, after the last year I really never thought I’d get to 12 weeks again!

@unicorns poor you but sounds like all is ok. Babies are well padded and these things happen. Understand the scare though.

So pleased the scan went well para and mummy , all these Christmas babies are very exciting!

Oh wow! Lots of Christmas babies on the way then! I honestly can’t believe I’ve got this far. Still pinching myself...it’s finally starting to sink in though so I’m hoping I can enjoy this pregnancy a bit now rather than fearing the worst all the time 💙
