Hey. Starting a new thread before the last one runs out. I will post a link to it in the old one so hopefully everyone can find it.

crapbags it was fine actually, easier than we thought tho we did only go to Pizza Express. DS1&2 happy colouring in & doing stickers. I fed DS3 before we left so he slept thru the whole lunch & then did a big poo when we got back home! Mission accomplished! It was good to get out.

HazyDays81 · 01/04/2018 08:36

clevs just wondering how you’re getting on? Hope the induction is working for you.

kidsandfarmers I went 11 days over with my little one. It must feel very strange going overdue when youve had such a premature baby before. Hope things happen soon for you.

Crapbags · 01/04/2018 19:33

@hazydays81 we were at pizza express too! If we can still manage that I’ll be happy;)

Still pregnant here☹️And more and more fed up....midwife coming tomorrow and has offered me a sweep so I’ll probably take her up on that. I know everyone is well meaning but Jesus I’m sick of being asked if ‘anything has happened’

How you feeling today @vickylou78? And @clevs?

Vickylou78 · 01/04/2018 23:44

Hi everyone! Thanks for the messages. I’m still pregnant here and no signs of imminent baby escape either! Feeling so massive! Sleeping terrible and feeling a bit sicky (bit like mild morning sickness nausea). Ready for this baby to come now!!

@crapbags, @kidsandfarmers and @clevs any baby news?

Vickylou78 · 01/04/2018 23:46

Glad you are doing so well @hazydays81, you must be really chuffed to have got out and about with all of your offspring and returned home unscathed! All up from here on in.

Crapbags · 02/04/2018 09:30

Still pregnant here too @vickylou78😖

Have midwife coming today....I think she’ll be giving me a date for induction☹️

Vickylou78 · 02/04/2018 10:47

Well at least an induction date will give you something to aim for!! Hopefully a sweep may kick things off?? Fingers crossed!

Crapbags · 03/04/2018 19:49

Any news @vickylou78?

Still pregnant here😫had the sweep and.....nothing😫

Vickylou78 · 03/04/2018 20:24

Arghh! Sorry to hear your sweep hasn’t started anything! Maybe tonight?!

I’m still pregnant too! No signs at all except full on squeezy Braxton Hicks!!

Clevs · 05/04/2018 11:43

Well I had my baby eventually! It was an April baby though! I had a little boy (well, not really that little at 8lb 13.5oz) by Emergency C-Section on Monday afternoon following failed induction of labour. The little monkey did not want to meet us! I had a horrendous time in labour but he was well worth the waitSmile I can’t stop staring at him wondering how the hell we made something so amazing!

HazyDays81 · 05/04/2018 12:07

Congratulations @clevs that is fantastic news. Sorry to hear you had a hard time, it must be such a relief he is here! Do you have a name yet?

Vickylou78& Crapbags how are you both doing?

MrsL2016 · 05/04/2018 12:14

Congratulations @Clevs!

I have a baby too!!Smile

He arrived at home at 115am this morning after a super speedy labour....so quick the midwife didn’t even make it so DH had to deliver him!! I’d had a sweep wed morn where midwife said all looked good 3cms dilated but didn’t have any regular contractions till about 9-10pm and even then they were pretty tame and not exactly in a really regular pattern so I thought I had a while went to bed at around midnight waters broke in bed at 1215 then made it downstairs after 2more contractions I wanted to push Shock midwife was on her way but by the time she got there head was already out! Was a little scary at that point because the cord was around he neck and DH couldn’t free it but luckily midwife came at that exact point and freed the cord and he came out....he needed a little oxygen to help start his breathing which was scary but after a couple of puffs he was crying away. Because of that they advised I then go into hospital just to have him checked over. So came in around 3am and still here now he’s all ok all stats/tests are good and I am so in love with him already. I have to stay in until 2mrw as due to a genetic condition my DS has this baby needs to have bloods (heel prick) done early at 24hrs old. Because of the condition and the risk he may well have it they want to monitor feeding too. I’m so glad to say he’s feeding really well already. He’s a big hungry boy at 9.4lbShock

Crapbags · 05/04/2018 16:29

Congratulations @clevs tooFlowers

Crapbags · 05/04/2018 16:29

How are you doing @vickylou78? Any signs? Wishing you luck Smile

HazyDays81 · 05/04/2018 17:22

Congrats crapbags glad to hear your baby is finally here! Wow that sounds like a super speedy entrance into the world, at least your DH was there & Midwife arrived when she did. A healthy weight too! Hope you are recovering well. I bet your other DC are excited their baby brother is here Smile

Vickylou78 · 05/04/2018 21:23

Clevs · 06/04/2018 04:51

@Crapbags and @Vickylou78 Congrats both! Nice dramatic entrance there Crapbags!

@HazyDays81 Toby💙

Are there any March babies still waiting?

Vickylou78 · 06/04/2018 06:54

@clevs sorry to hear about the c section but main thing is the baby is here safely and hope you will be on the mend soon. Lots love and congrats

@crapbags wowsers! Well done to that husband of yours! Think that’s the second husband delivered baby on this thread! Hopefully the hospital will check him out and you’ll be back home soon. Congrats!

So my birth wasn’t all plain sailing in labour but turned out ok in the end! My waters broke at about 4am yesterday, but no contractions so midwife at delivery suite said to come in and get checked. Headed out to hospital and by time got there (waters still leaking thank goodness for Tena lady pants!) I was having contractions every 4 minutes. But was told hospital was closed as no more space!!!! Looked like we would have to go to another hospital. But they found meconium in waters so I was higher risk and they managed to squeeze me in thankfully!

Got examined and found that baby was not engaged but was lying sideways! Cue doctors panicking and telling me may have to have c section but a bit of jiggery pokery and a doc managed to move the baby into place! It hurt though! Labour progressed but then had a heart rate scare and all docs came flying in and they had to give me injection to slow labour down or would be emergency c section... thankfully it worked and all ok rest of labour. Pretty intense labour and then out she popped with gas and air at 11.01 yesterday (5th April), She’s perfect and weighed in at 8lb 10. No name as yet!

Crapbags · 06/04/2018 08:17

Ahhhh wonderful news @vickylou78 how funny our babies came on the same day!! Sounds like you did so well going through all that..well done you!

I think we are the last ‘march’ babies aren’t we?

HazyDays81 · 06/04/2018 09:07

Congratulations Vickylou78! Sounds like you did amazingly even if it wasn’t straightforward.

Clevs love the name Toby Smile
