Hey. Starting a new thread before the last one runs out. I will post a link to it in the old one so hopefully everyone can find it.

Ps im still pregnant! But today actually pleased as dd1 has a ear infection so literally no sleep last night and whole household like zombies so probably for the best we don’t have a newborn in the mix too! Here’s hoping for a good nights sleep tonight and baby come on Easter Day! Would be fab Easter present!

Having a bad day today where I’m feeling super tired and fed up I feel like I want it to happen but also keep thinking but I’m so tired how am I going to be able to have the energy to actually give birth?!? Also both DC’s broken up for the Easter hols today which usually would be great but I’m actually worried because now I have to entertain them/break up the arguments/bickering I mean I wasn’t looking forward to doing the school run with a baby but I think this could be a lot worse

How are you doing @Clevs ? Did you get your induction today?

...hope you have your babies soon. I found it really hard going 11 days overdue. When I went in to be induced & had an internal the midwife couldn’t even reach my cervix so I was nowhere near ready. The pessary worked within 4 hours of going in & I had him the same day. Fingers crossed for some Easter babies over the long weekend

@Crapbags It’s tomorrow😃

Hoping it won’t take long, Baby is definitely wriggling about more and I think changed position slightly so hopefully it’s planning it’s exit!

Ah sorry @clevs all the days are blurring into one at the moment😜 good luck for 2mrw hopefully baby will pip the induction to the post and come of his/her own accord! And yep hoping I’ll make a March baby but looking more likely to be April at the moment!

Right so I actually slept last night!! The whole night! (Bar a quick loo break) so I’m ready.......bring out the baby!

Also - advice from mummies please. Just sorting the bottles etc for baby. Was going to try reuse bottles from dd1 for new baby with new teats but is this bad? Should I just buy new bottles too?

Ah a whole nights sleep sounds glorious @vickylou78 any twinges today?

Also wondering how @clevs is getting on? Hoping you have your baby now🤞🏼

@crapbags not a single twinge!! Except the Braxton Hicks which I have all the time. But bump is so low!!! Sometimes feel it may fall out and other times not!
Any signs from your bump?

No baby yet, been in hospital since 2pm. Got a pessary in but no changes yet. I’m so bored

Oh @clevs I feel for you..... what’s the plan if nothing happens? Do they try something else?

@vickylou78 same here mine is so low it does honestly feel like it’s just gonna drop out any minute (ha if only it were that easy!) hope this isn’t tmi but does your erm ‘undercarriage’😳 feel really swollen and heavy? Not something I remember from before and hoping it’s nothing to be worried about?! But nope no other signs except the damn braxton hicks.

I’m so hoping that this ones late arrival (compared to my previous early ones with DC’s 1&2) means he is going to be a super chilled, sleepy baby🤞🏼 Which is definitely not what the other 2 were like!!

Yes @crapbags my ‘undercarriage’ is very swollen and red and massive!! It has been for a few weeks though... I discovered it’s true horror when trying to de-hair down there. But it’s particularly swollen and more odd this week. Hoping is perfectly normal!

Ah well as odd as it sounds I’m glad I’m not the only swollen one @vickylou78 🙈 and yep it feels massive too so strange?!

Only one more day of March!!!! Maybe April’s fools will be our day?! Would make sense really feel like a fool for putting myself through this again

Yes I sometimes think why am I doing this to myself again, especially when dd1 is having a little tantrum about putting her pjs on! Maybe April fools day will be quite fitting!

@Crapbags They reassess after it’s been in for 24 hours then possibly put another one in for up to another 24 hours. If that doesn’t work then I go on a drip. Yesterday’s pessary has just fallen out though when I went to the loo so have had a new one in already 🙈.

It’s so noisy on the ward, had the worst nights sleep ever 😩

Popping across to see how the last few are getting on. clevs sorry to hear you’re still waiting for the pessary to work. Fingers crossed the next one works & you’re soon in labour. The wards are so noisy aren’t they - hope you can get a bit of sleep today x

Hi @hazydays81 thanks for the well wishes still pregnant and massive and beginning to wonder if there is even a baby in there...perhaps I’ve imagined the whole thing......😂how’s life treating you with a newborn?

crapbags haha I felt the same, thought I’d be pregnant forever! I’m loving being a mummy again - totally in love with my little one On day 5 today & thankfully feeling more comfortable from the birth. Breast feeding is going well - baby only lost 1oz from his birth weight! We also made it out for lunch today as a family of 5!

41 weeks today with #2 and still no signs at all! C'mon baby! Haha... crazy when my first was 17 weeks premature, this one has very different ideas

Oh wow @Kidsandfarmers just shows you how different two pregnancies/babies can be eh?! Have they given you a date for induction?

Ah @hazydays81 glad to hear you’re out and about as a 5 piece already we went to lunch today and were thinking oh god can we do this with 3 of them😱
