Hey. Starting a new thread before the last one runs out. I will post a link to it in the old one so hopefully everyone can find it.

Came and went not cake!

Ah that’s interesting @vickylou78 it does seem to not add up quite right, which in some ways makes me feel better. Would still like it to happen sooner rather than later!

We had our baby girl at 2241 last night 🐣.

Contractions started as I was having tea - BBQ chicken which I subsequently vomited up! That was at 1830. They came thick and fast and was on the way to hospital an hour later.

Once I got there I had an epidural but babies heart beat dropped and would not recover as they wanted. I was wheeled into theatre pretty pronto and had an emergency c section.

She is the most perfect baby I have ever seen and I’m so so proud right now. Got two days in hospital before I can go home. That’s ok - time seems to be going really quickly even though all I do it stare at her!

Just getting the hang of breastfeeding. She’s got very slight tongue tie but seems to love the boob nonetheless!

Afternoon all! Hope everyone is ok!
I've been in hospital with no fetal movements from baby but all is good he's just too comfy I guess but my consultant has decided to induce me tomorrow instead of waiting until Wednesday!

Starting to get rather nervous about it all now 😬😬

Wow, huge congratulations new mums! You did it! Would there be any interest in starting a thread for newborn mums? For support? Where would it go?

I think I’ll be a while yet.....good luck @TheMrs04 try to turn that nervous energy into excitement you should be meeting your baby soon!!!

So I've been here since 8am and not even been induced yet! Currently sat on the ward waiting for a bed in the labour ward! Starting to get very impatient!!

TheMrs04 I was just wondering how you’re getting on. That is frustrating you’ve been waiting around for so long. Hope something happens soon. I’m getting bits ready to go in for induction at 8am tomorrow.

RagDolly81 hope you’re getting on ok & have managed to get some rest.

I am good my little girl is as good as gold she doesn't cry or anything just gives a little moan to alert me she wants something. The older kids adore her and have been a great help. Nice to be home and settled in. Good luck everyone still waiting. Won't be long now xx

Was sent down to labour ward at 8pm waters were broken at 8.45pm and baby boy was born at 11.56pm! 7lbs exactly!! All with just gas and air! Super proud of myself!

Congrats to @raym @ragdolly81 and @themrs04. I had my boy on Saturday too and we are home now and trying to get into the swing of things. Ended up with forceps and epidural, so not straight forward but it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Good luck to those still waiting.

Congratulations TheMrs04 & MrsL2016! Fantastic news hope you’re both recovering well. I’m going in for induction today! Feeling scared & excited at the same time. Can’t believe I’ll meet my baby soon.
