Hello everyone,
My husband (36 yo) and I (35 yo) have been trying to conceive for 6 months and yesterday, 3 days before my period was due, I took an early pregnancy test at home... and it came back positive! Today I'm 3 weeks + 5 days.
We're both over the moon, however now I'm starting to worry that I tested too early and this may end up in a miscarriage. :(
I'm literally worrying over any sign of discomfort, cramp, etc. I'm even worried my cough may dislodge my little sprout! Is anyone going through the same?

@abbeyb123 well done for trying to change it, try and stay positive and on Friday you will get to see everything. Fingers crossed you will be fine, especially if there has been no more bleeding xxx

@Gem173 good luck on Tuesday its so surreal seeing it for the first time, they will also give you your "official" due date which is exciting!

Really sorry I forgot to let everyone no last night. I had my scan yesterday and everything was fine. Baby wouldn't stop moving all over. Due on 26th aug 😃😃

Thanks @Gem173 baby dug their bum right in so have so squashed pics... Took ages and a lot of wiggling to get the measurements, they didn't want to budge x

Wow that picture is so clear!! Your so lucky I’ve seen some pictures and they have not been as clear as that!

Ahh so lovely to see your photos ladies isn't it the best feeling to see them wiggling about in there!!!

I got my nuchal test results back on Friday and got 1:254 for Downs which they say is fine, they have a threshold of 1:150 at my hospital, but I still don't think its a great result. I can't remember what the nuchal fold test was but it was in the 2.5mm region, sonographer said that was fine, so maybe it was my age (34) and bloods that bought it down?? Husband thinks its fine but I'm debating getting an NIPT test for the certainty, already have a gender scan booked so going to see if they can convert it into the NIPT would much rather spend £400 on something else but at the same time there is still a long time to go before I meet the baby and it would be nice to get a definitive answer!

Just got back from our scan.
All looks good and no change to our expected date of 24th

A decent size of 61.4mm at 12w4

Scan went well ! Baby’s doing fine. Dated one day behind at 11 weeks 6 days.
Due 29th August ❤️

@SPARKS17 have you decided to go for the NIPT test after? Our sonographer said a NT measurement less than 3.5mm was acceptable in our trust. It's a tough decision to make because of the expense but might give you a bit of piece of mind xx

@DogsandBaby yes I decided to go for it, I'm sure all is well but it will be another weight off my mind to know for sure! Harmony test is booked for tomorrow and also comes with another scan and possible gender sighting! I will be 15wk 5days tomorrow and they can do the gender scan from 16 weeks so I may find out tomorrow what we are having if not next week when the Harmony test comes back and confirms the gender!

Are you guys going to find out gender or have a surprise?

We are finding out the gender.

Bloods got taken today for first Downs test as well, so we get that back in next two weeks and then decide if to have the next set of tests or not.
