Baby due late August 2018

Hello everyone,
My husband (36 yo) and I (35 yo) have been trying to conceive for 6 months and yesterday, 3 days before my period was due, I took an early pregnancy test at home... and it came back positive! Today I'm 3 weeks + 5 days.
We're both over the moon, however now I'm starting to worry that I tested too early and this may end up in a miscarriage. :(
I'm literally worrying over any sign of discomfort, cramp, etc. I'm even worried my cough may dislodge my little sprout! Is anyone going through the same?

Hi there everyone, I've been lurking around in the background for a wee while and would love to join the board. It's been so reassuring seeing everyone's lovely scan pictures and knowing that I'm not the only one with a million and one worries.

Me and my partner were ttc for 2 years and after a bit of a battle with pcos and treatment with fertility drugs finally got our much longed for positive just before Christmas.

I've been so excited since then but to be honest, a wee bit of a nervous wreck thinking that something would go wrong and let me tell you, that wait for my dating scan, was the longest wait ever.

Had my dating scan on Tuesday there and I'm delighted to say that our wee bubba was bouncing about happily and is looking very healthy with a lovely strong heartbeat. It was the best thing I've ever seen in my life and was such a relief.... I feel as if I can finally start to enjoy this pregnancy and chill a little bit.

Due date is the 21st August and here's a pic of my little one...

Welcome Cheryl what a gorgeous scan! The first 12 weeks is definitely the worst isn't it, I was constantly imagining the worst! Have you started telling your family and friends yet?

I had the results of my harmony test this week and all was well, I also found out I was expecting a Girl which I am thrilled about!! I have really relaxed now I know what I am having and can start planning properly!

Back to hospital today for first obstetrician appointment

Had our appointment and it all revolved around the age of my wife. As she is over 40 and our first child we are having scans and appointments with the obstetrician at the maternity unit every four weeks.
He tried to listen to the heart beat today but couldn't get it which he said wasn't an issue at just over 15 weeks but he came back with a mobile scanner, something from back in the day, and used that to show us the baby moving around and the heart beat.
So all good except loads more appointments, as the hospital ones will be on top of the midwife ones. Just need to sort it out with work so I can go to them all,
