Does anyone feel like a chat?

Age: 34
TTC: 11 months
Due: July 2018

I had vivid dreams in the two week wait. Since BFP I've just had mildly sensitive boobs.

My colleague has just announced his wife is pregnant, they've just had their first scan, I can't help but feel he's stolen my thunder a little bit!

Oh and a tip for your 12 week scan - at first all they could see was my bladder, because like a good patient I had drank a few cups of water before going there. Apparently you don't need a full bladder when you go these days. I had to go pee before she could see anything!
And then she had to press down quite hard to get a clear view. Apparently bowel gas can impair the view - so don't have mexican the night before!!

When is everyone else scans?

Hello!!

I'm 22 and this is my first, I'm currently 11 weeks and got my scan on Thursday! (30th) had one at the beginning of November as I wasn't sure how far gone I was and I got to see my tiny little blob and their heart beating away 😍

Hopefully all will be well, I was really ill beginning of last week, couldnt keep anything at all down and had some sort of viral infection and was sent into hospital and put on a drip and all my morning sickness and everything has stopped since then so I'm pretty worried but just trying to keep calm till Thursday xx

@Nancyp309 congrats Nancy!! Aww your very lucky to get an early scan 😊 and i hope all goes well on thurs and i wouldnt worry too much about the sickness maybe the drip you had gave you load of hydration back into your body that has helped 😊

Can I join please?
I'm 34 yrs old and I am (according to apps etc) 6 weeks due 18th july.
This is my first baby and I'm really anxious.
Since my BFP last week I have had really painful tender boobs and nausea.
I keep getting sharp pains in my stomach and aches in my lower back.
Is that normal?? I spoke to my doctor about it and he referred me to get a scan which is on Friday.

@LMXO thank you! I'm hoping so too! And if everything is okay then I'm glad the morning sickness has stopped! I'm still getting indigestion and my boobs kill! I'm due 25th of June at the moment but they will give me a more exact date on Thursday ☺

@Kitcat159 congrats!!! Sounds about normal to me but at least the scan will put your mind to rest and you will get to see your little baby a littler earlier than most hope all goes well!! 😊

Squeee! 12+5 so due date now 8th June!!

Now I can tell more people. Been lovely telling everyone at work!

Everyday for me is very different today im sore and uncomfortable with having had trapped wind 😢 however yesterday was tiredness and sickness how are you @MegEmski

Hi! Can't believe I'm here! I'm 38, thought I was past it, had accepted that it wasn't going to happen. My period was a week late yesterday so I've done four tests. BFP on all of them! I'm in shock, very very happy, but in a complete daze! I've not even told hubby yet! Just enjoying a few days of it being just mine, I know it sounds bonkers but hubby can be a bit high maintenance and I want to get my head round it first! Looks like I'm due on around 3rd August so very very early days!

Congratulations @Brettgirl - how exciting. Will your DH be pleased or take a while to get his head round it?

Thank you Meg! I'm not sure tbh, we have talked about it in the past and it's what we both wanted but he's had some health trouble lately and may struggle with not being centre of attention...
