Hi there,

Does anyone feel like a chat?

Age: 34
TTC: 11 months
Due: July 2018

I had vivid dreams in the two week wait. Since BFP I've just had mildly sensitive boobs.

My colleague has just announced his wife is pregnant, they've just had their first scan, I can't help but feel he's stolen my thunder a little bit!

Hello all! So i am currently 7 weeks pregnant (due July 2018)nausea has kicked in but not been sick much thank god and I am so hungry all day! Has anyone found this and found their tummy is super bloated and sometimes hard to touch? X

Rubec · 22/11/2017 11:27

@windowgazer123 thank you so much for those Labour option links it’s very useful! So much to think about.

@lmx0 it’s nervewracking.... every time i go to the toilet I’m worrying I’m going to see blood. Congratulations to u! Have u started having any other symptoms yet?

I generally just feel so bloated and google tells me to say goodbye to my waistline for the next 9 months at least as this bloating is here to stay!

Mild cramps and bloating but otherwise no symptoms. Is that normal at 4+2

Good luck everyone and congrats. It’s so exciting and still feels so unreal. I think once I have a scan things will feel a whole lot more real and it will calm my anxiety.... but still a long time to go til scan right? I’m only 4 weeks now

EmmaCaz4 · 22/11/2017 11:31

Congrats all! I'm due 6th July 2017. Got my dating scan on 22nd December so we can announce on Christmas day to the family.

TTC 18months, known for nearly 4weeks now, another 4 weeks to keep the secret. Struggling with nausea. Can hardly eat anything. Obsessed with fruit but meat and veggies egg are just making me heave!

kate288 · 22/11/2017 11:44

@hellybellyjellybean thanks for sharing that, it has definitely helped it to feel a bit less worrying. I've had a little bit of spotting this morning but nothing on a pad so that's good. I was so upset last night but feeling more positive today. I wasn't sure if i should tell someone as I haven't got a midwife yet but think I'll just wait it out and go to the GP if it gets worse. I have got some slight cramping but it's hard to know if it's normal or not. Fingers crossed!

LMX0 · 22/11/2017 11:45

@Rubec im the same as you feel bloated and mild cramps and thirsty and peeing LOADS but today i feel great yesterday i had a headache all day and sore back every symptom is so new and a little exciting im enjoying feeling ok as i wait on the tiredness & sickness (hopefully wont be to bad) you normally get a scan around 12 weeks so still another 8 weeks to wait for us (feels like forever) have you told many people yet or are you waiting?

SparkleSarah22 · 22/11/2017 11:52

@emmacaz4 we are due around the same time, congrats!! I have my initial appt on 4th dec hoping i can book my scan in before xmas to tell our families! Nausea is hitting me but not been sick so much! I am constantly hungry too lol x

LMX0 · 22/11/2017 12:02

Telling everyone on christmas day sounds wonderful be a lovely surprise to everyone

hannknitted · 22/11/2017 12:03

@Rubec @LMX0 I'm 4+2 as well and much the same as both of you - mild cramps, feeling bloated, and more thirsty than normal.

I've also not slept that well the past few nights - haven't been able to get comfy - but I'm not sure if that's related as it does happen to me every now and then anyway. It could be more to do with me worrying!

EmmaCaz4 · 22/11/2017 12:07

@sparklesarah22 congrats to you too!

Ahh your initial appt is on my birthday! 😄 I've got my 2nd midwife appt on 7th Dec. I had a mc a few months back and had a few other issues so saw her at 4wks, 6wks and then 10wks and then got my scan at 12.

Can't wait to tell people, it's driving me insane keeping this huge secret. Sounds horrible but I'm having to not spend as much time with my mum lately so I don't tell her or she doesn't guess. Xmas shopping with her on the 4th and just hope sickness stays away that day. Really want to tell them Xmas day be such a beautiful Xmas pressie.

SparkleSarah22 · 22/11/2017 12:18

@emmacaz4 hah i know i am trying to avoid my parents and i keep making up all excusea why i am not drinking. So hard around this time of year too lol. We have already planned our two family christmas dinner before xmas day to tell them all eeek!

Aww i really hope your scans and appts go well x

LMX0 · 22/11/2017 12:20

@hannknitted congrats!!! Ive also been more windy than normal 😂 poor DH i must say last night i had a fantastic sleep also last night watching tv i couldn’t get comfy, try bot to worry to much or stress yourself out just enjoy the now 😊

Rubec · 22/11/2017 12:32

@lmx0 nope haven’t told anyone yet! It’s quite nice that just me and hubby know... I really do want to shout it out but at same time my anxiety tells me to keep quiet lol. I think I might tell my mum in a couple of weeks. Have you told anyone yet?

@hannknitted congratulations!! I’m having trouble sleeping too and windy 😂😂😂

LMX0 · 22/11/2017 12:58

@Rubec have told hubby and my closest friend and she nearly guessed (as we talked about a few things before i took test lol) i really wanna tell everyone but want to wait until we have our scan its nice just the three of us know

LMX0 · 22/11/2017 12:59

@Rubec your saying a out your mum mine is the same she will prob guess she never misses anything that one!! But she will be so excited as this is the first grandchild id be afraid of her letting slip

EmmaCaz4 · 22/11/2017 13:00

@sparklesarah22 good luck with telling everyone! I'm sure they'll be over the moon. Lots of happy tears and a few screams haha! Hope all yours go well too. X

hellybellyjellybean · 22/11/2017 13:44

Just got back from my first midwife appointment, all a bit scary exciting and real! Again no fuss or concern over the pink discharge which is keeping me calm! It's just got me in a panic now when they mentioned screening tests. Should hear in 2 weeks about my date for my scan anyways, eek!

hellybellyjellybean · 22/11/2017 13:45

@Rubec impressed at not telling anyone! We've told both sets of parents and telling siblings tonight, they would guess straight away when I don't have a glass of wine!! I do feel like I'm lying to all my friends by not telling them

LMX0 · 22/11/2017 14:00

@hellybellyjellybean aww thats great 😊

hellybellyjellybean · 22/11/2017 14:12

Hello all and congrats.
I'm 31, due mid June, 12 week scan is on Friday (although I'll be around 11+4)

A colleague has just told us she's pregnant today so I spent some time talking to her and trying to hold back! I'll hopefully be telling colleagues on Monday.
