Hi there,

Does anyone feel like a chat?

Age: 34
TTC: 11 months
Due: July 2018

I had vivid dreams in the two week wait. Since BFP I've just had mildly sensitive boobs.

My colleague has just announced his wife is pregnant, they've just had their first scan, I can't help but feel he's stolen my thunder a little bit!

I'm having quite a lot of stomach cramps, and excruciating leg pain last night! Lots of headaches this week too. Tummy is getting a bit "flippy"! What about you? Xx

@Brettgirl last week i had headaches & cramps apparently the cramps can be implantation pains or could be your body getting used to something in there lol how many weeks are you?

I'm four weeks and six days, so I assumed it was implantation pains. They seem worse in the evenings. How far are you? Xxx

Brettgirl congratulations love!

I had my first antenatal appt today. It was a bit of a whirlwind. They did a vaginal ultrasound, a 'viability scan' which I was not expecting!

I was alone so scared of potential bad news then bam! A little heartbeat! Woo hoo!

No it really hasn't! It feels so weird, I want to keep retesting to make sure it's not gone away!
So you are a week ahead of me, how does it feel? Xx

Thank you xx glad scan went well! I think I might need a transvaginal one because I have lost lots of weight and have a lot of excess skin x

I've gone with the 'if there has been no substantial bleeding' all is well. I don't think there is any point in knowing if something has gone wrong if you're not with a medical professional. I know what you mean though. How do we even know it's ok in there!

@Brettgirl It took me a good few days for it to sink in part of me wants to tell people but the rest of me is enjoying only a couple of people knowing im finding everyday is so different yesterday i felt terrible discomfort ive had a day where the tirdness and sickness wasnt great however ive felt great today lol

Hey girls I feel you I had the cramping from 4.5-5.5! Worse at night yes! Seems to have gone now .

You will probably al agree but do you feel protective over your body already? I know it’s now the size of a lentil (6w today) so it’s nothing but I find myself rubbing my belly sometimes! D

I feel the same, I'm particularly nervous when I'm driving, and I was at the supermarket and if anyone came within about ten metres I was a bit tetchy! I'm probably not drinking enough water, I don't normally. I'll have to get better! I'm a bit annoyed with myself though, I got my dates slightly wrong, I thought I was five weeks today, but I'm not until Sunday... so desperate for time to pass! Xx

Have any of you had appointments with the GP or anything? I've had to do a self referral to the midwife and don't see anyone til then, feels like so far away and I just want to see someone and make it more real lol xx
