Hi ladies, I've just found out I'm 4 weeks pregnant and wanted to set up this thread to talk to people in the same boat as me! At the moment I've very worried, thoughts of MCs in my head etc, worries for late periods arriving and am looking to chat to people who are at the same stage as me, or have been! :) thanks xxx

The best advice I can give is to relax and chill (easier said than done!) I know it's really hard in the beginning and so overwhelming but the best thing you can do for you and little one is not to stress :)

Thank you :) trying my best! My main concern at the mo is about chemical pregnancies; I've been looking online for stats but they either seem really high (suggesting I have a 25% of having this baby) or don't have any at all. It's so confusing! I'm not yet completely out of the time frame I was meant to get AF (although I'm 2 days late and normally like clockwork), I just want to get that bit done! I registered with my midwife but I'm too scared to get excited; I just feel as though it could be too good to be true... sigh

Try to remember that too much research is not necessarily a good thing! Just try and take one day at a time, and it will fly by, honestly!
I'm now 29+3 with twins and when we first found out I couldn't even imagine getting to this stage!

SophSoph92 · 11/07/2017 18:01

If you don't mind me asking, was it your first pregnancy? Xx

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and I'm petrified just like you it's horrible I just want my scan now and to fast forward a few weeks!!!

SophSoph92 · 11/07/2017 18:25

Congratulations @issy2165! :) it's such an exciting time and I want to tell the world and start getting prepared but worried that I'll be jinxing it if I do! :( have you had your first midwife appt then? Xxx

issy2165 · 11/07/2017 18:29

No because I live in a rural area I have a doctors appointment on Monday and then they refer me to a midwife/scan so i could be like 9 weeks before I get that!! Panick mode!!

issy2165 · 11/07/2017 18:32

I'm already drooling over the white company's baby stuff 🙄

cherryontopp · 11/07/2017 18:47

I'm 9 weeks and very anxious.

For those who are worried about chemical pregnancies and so on, if you have the money I would an early scan at 7/8 weeks to see if its a viable pregnancy. It eases your mind and it's good to see heartbeat Smile

SophSoph92 · 11/07/2017 18:57

Girls, how did you all feel during your first missed AF? I keep feeling like I'm going to get it, minus the back pain. Not sure if I'm just meant to feel normal...

Ps @issy2165 the white company stuff is 😍 I love a bit of neutral baby clothing!
Must be so frustrating about waiting for your first appt. I didn't even get to see the Dr where I am: you have to self refer to the midwife now. Would have liked to have seen her (Dr) to ask her some of my silly questions! Maybe that's why they stopped that 😂

SophSoph92 · 11/07/2017 19:05

Haha me too! Every time I sneeze I panic he's going to dislodge! And I'm really lightheaded when I dash around! Haha we have expectant mum brains already! Ahh me too 😍😍

I got bfp last week, about 4 weeks but not entirely sure tbh as I only had my coil removed at the beginning of June. This is my fourth pregnancy but I miscarried the first two around 6 weeks so I'm absolutely bricking myself! If I had the money I'd be doing a test everyday.

issy2165 · 11/07/2017 19:15

I work on a farm so I do a lot of heavy lifting and things it's so scary!

issy2165 · 11/07/2017 19:16

I seriously need to stop googling things and forget about it!

SophSoph92 · 11/07/2017 19:16

Hi! Congrats!! I got a pack of about 30 test strips from Amazon for £6, they're the same make as the OV tests used a lot on here, and seem to work for me. They first indicated my pregnancy which was confirmed by ClearBlue the day after :) I'd send you the link if you want! Having said that, I'm trying to stop testing daily too! Xxx

I just had a bath worst mistake ever i feel like I've been shut in a sauna for a week 😩😩😩

SophSoph92 · 11/07/2017 20:15

Oh no!!! Are you finding that you get ridiculously hot all the time?

OP posts:
issy2165 · 11/07/2017 20:53

Yes or freezing cold I went out in the boat the other evening and I was shivering in bed for a good hour when I got home 😂 hormones!!!

1000jobstodo · 11/07/2017 21:03

Hi all! I'm 4+2. I'm a bit worried as not having strong symptoms. I'm feeling tired, extra hungry, dizzy and hot but nothing like my first pregnancy, during which I had such strong symptoms!

I've also just eaten chicken which I noticed afterwards was pink in the middle. I know it can't harm the little poppy seed, but I'm worried about being sick as I'm so tired...

Had awful stomach cramps last night but no bleeding so I'm keeping a close eye on it. Seems to be in the evening that I notice stomach cramps. I had this in 1st pregnancy, so I'm trying not to panic. Failing really Grin

issy2165 · 11/07/2017 21:47

Hope you are okay! I have exactly the same symptoms as you but I'm 7 weeks tomorrow!

SophSoph92 · 11/07/2017 21:49

Hi @1000jobstodo! 👋🏼 you're a few days in front of me! Is your AF time frame completely over then? Xxx

SophSoph92 · 12/07/2017 07:34

Don't blame you!! Just having some well informed advice would do wonders I imagine! If you get down there today let us know how it goes xx
