Hi ladies, I've just found out I'm 4 weeks pregnant and wanted to set up this thread to talk to people in the same boat as me! At the moment I've very worried, thoughts of MCs in my head etc, worries for late periods arriving and am looking to chat to people who are at the same stage as me, or have been! :) thanks xxx

I'm not sure. I seem to have blocked out my previous 2 pregnancies!

I went to the Dr on Tuesday as have had pneumonia and been on all kinds of drugs so I wanted to check that I wouldn't have done any damage. She said she would refer me next week as it was a bit early this week!

issy2165 · 13/07/2017 18:57

Ah okay I was 6 weeks yesterday so I'm guessing she will call when I get to 8 weeks it's hard when it's your first I have no idea what to expect or when!

SophSoph92 · 13/07/2017 19:01

Congrats! And welcome!!

Is this anyone else's first bubba? :)

Mine I'm only 21!

1000jobstodo · 13/07/2017 22:00

Issy don't let that worry you. I had my 1st at 26. I would have parented her exactly the same 5 years prior to that- age doesn't mean you won't cope etc, or things parenting wise will be different. So, just enjoy- I
Feel much wiser now, but I think that's from being a mum and the responsibilities rather than my current age!

SophSoph92 · 14/07/2017 00:54

Me too! I'm 24 :) well.... 25 on Sunday!

Phew that's okay then! Struggling not to get to exited😉

issy2165 · 14/07/2017 09:02

How's everyone feeling today? I'm getting tired of all these boob growing pains!

SophSoph92 · 14/07/2017 09:22

Boobs are killing me and I feel really sick all of a sudden! Did anyone else start feeling sick at 4+2

issy2165 · 14/07/2017 10:58

So far I'm okay but I'm popping b6 like it's going out of fashion!

HazyDays81 · 14/07/2017 11:03

I still haven't really got any symptoms! I'm 5+1 today with my third. Have felt slightly nauseous but that's it. Crazy you kind of want symptoms to prove it's actually happening!

issy2165 · 14/07/2017 13:44

I just want my mid wife to call me!

issy2165 · 14/07/2017 18:13

Does anyone else's belly feel like warm inside I feel like I'm an oven in here... well I am I guess it is an oven but so strange!

SophSoph92 · 14/07/2017 19:10

Definitely a warmth in a band around my stomach/lower back!

issy2165 · 14/07/2017 19:11

So strange I love it! It's amazing how much you can love something you have never seen!

SophSoph92 · 14/07/2017 19:26

I know! Amazing... love it and want to do everything you can to look after it even though its teeny tiny. They'll have heartbeats now though 😍

issy2165 · 14/07/2017 19:31

There's an app to hear it! I couldn't get it to work though 😞so exiting but I don't know when to stop worrying!!!

SophSoph92 · 14/07/2017 19:35

What app is that? I'd take it with a pinch of salt though. The technology in these phones is nowhere near as advanced as what hospitals have xxx

I have no idea I deleted it now! Nope I just wish I didn't have to wait so long!

1000jobstodo · 14/07/2017 20:16

I've got a private scan booked early August as I've no idea how far along I am! By period dates I think I'm 5 weeks something but I ovulate so late in the cycle... With my 1st pregnancy I was so surprised by dates- every scan they kept bringing the due date forward Grin

1000jobstodo · 14/07/2017 20:18

Still very few symptoms here too Hazel but this pregnancy I'm much busier so I don't think I notice it as much? Hopefully all is cooking away nicely. I vote we celebrate the no sickness just yet Wink

issy2165 · 14/07/2017 21:08

I felt sick for an hour this afternoon but all passed! There's a bug going around work that I don't want to catch!

issy2165 · 15/07/2017 07:15

Are any of you finding sexual intercourse really painful? As soon as it's over so to speak I get the worst cramp ever for a minute or so no bleeding or anything!

SophSoph92 · 15/07/2017 11:41

I admit I've been a bit rubbish since I found out so it's only happened once (!!!!) but I've been okay xxx
