Blimey. I've been lurking around mumsnet for a few months while ttc, but have only posted a couple of times. Didn't expect to be the one starting this thread!

Got a BFP yesterday (in the loo at work - classy!) and another one this morning.

According to fertility friend the due date is 9th feb.

It'll be our first, and we're both a bit shell-shocked. But happy, I think!

Is anyone else due in feb? I could really do with someone to compare notes with. I'm dying to tell my friends and family, but feel that we should leave it a few weeks, really..

Anyway ? hello everybody!

Angeliz: Congrats!

My sickness has calmed down..still feel slightly queezy but not too bad. Have got aches under my stomach which I don't like though. Sort of like AF pains but not too bad..doesn't hurt as such..I am just aware of it if you see what I mean. Temps still nice and high though and boobs still growing so feeling positive..just wish aches would go!!

Hi Jolly,
I am 32 and have a DD of 7 too.
Congrats on your news and welcome

futurity · 23/06/2004 13:19

Congrats and welcome jolly4!

I am 30 and have one D.S aged 2.5.

Momof2 · 23/06/2004 13:37

Futurity- How are your aches this morning? I get niggles now and again, mainly if I feel really tired and then lie down!

futurity · 23/06/2004 13:53

At the moment they are fine...can't feel anything but as the day goes on they do appear. Found a thread on Mumsnet of women who had the same and they were all told by there doctors that it is just the stretching of the uterus and ligaments so I was reasurred by that. I will mention it to the doctor when I see her next Wednesday.

2ticks · 23/06/2004 17:54

Futurity - I've come to join you on this thread - I guess I didn't need to be worried about my leutal phase after all!!

I'm only on CD26, so very, very, very early days, but a line came up on the test this morning, so I guess it's real!! All being well my due date will be 28th Feb.

Bit of an exciting week this week - at the beginning of the week we set our wedding date for 5th November, and now this!!!

Have a good weekend everybody!

Angeliz · 24/06/2004 14:19

Hope evryone is well this morning

Conratulations to all who have just realised++++

I am good, just shattered and a bit moody! (but that's nothing new, think dp is avoiding me)

futurity · 24/06/2004 18:03

Great to see you 2ticks...congrats!

I'm well..tiredness set in so just had a nap (thankfully DS is still napping in the day..I think I will keep it up until he is 5!!). Wearing my sickness bands as the queeziness is returning. Oh..and my breasts are bursting out of my bra!! Can't complain as they shrunk after breastfeeding last time.

jolly4 · 25/06/2004 15:27

hi, all me again i feel so wierd with this preg i dont feel preg but my boobs are sore , too be honest i feel quite agressive as if i could beat someone up quite worryin really my first preg wasnt like this

Angeliz · 25/06/2004 18:32

jolly4, me too!!!

Some silly woman parked in a parent and toddler space this morn,(alone in a flash car), i swear i could've whacked her one and searched for a pen to leave a snotty note on her windscreen!!!

Tears yesterday, it's confusing isn't it?

JonahB · 25/06/2004 22:03

Toothache and Mumof2 - thanks for the advise. I'll try your suggestions.
Angeliz, Jolly 4 and 2ticks - congratulations!! Really chuffed for you all
I'm 30, but this is my first. All a bit nervous, cos its all so new to me. Every sympton I get, DP and I are deliberating over, to decide what it means, and if we need to worry. I guess that's normal. I'm fine really, just really really tired, and wondering how I'm going to continue working daft working hours without falling asleep at my desk.....

ermentrude · 25/06/2004 22:50

Tentatively joining here after starting the march thread as adviseplease. like 2ticks I am very ealry on..only cd27 of a 33 day cycle and have had some light spotting. Off to docs tomorrow about something else so will run it all past her when I am there. Due date is 1st March but DS was early....

2ticks · 25/06/2004 23:17

Hope all goes well at the Dr for you tomorrow Ermentrude.

I'm feeling really panicky today - maybe it's just sinking in - we were really lucky conceiving DS first month of trying, and didn't think we would be so lucky again, so a bit of a surprise for us for it to happen so quickly again (a very nice one though ). I kind of remember feeling like this with DS, so I think it's just one of my pg symptoms. Hopefully I'll calm down a bit soon!

jolly4 · 25/06/2004 23:36
