Hi,

Im 9 days late and with no cramps. usually my periods are spot on so im confused with this one. Thing is my pregnancy tests have all been Neg. I had a nasty water infection for which i got "pregnancy friendly" anti-biotics for and finished them almost a week ago.

Could this be the reason i am so late?

Does it look hopeful i may be pregnant?

I have been told to go and get a blood test @ the docs but how long does it take for the results?

Many thanks for any advice,

hi Pink, it wouldnt surprise me to be different, im what my dp calls "special" hehe!!!

Merrymeg, line still there (tested about 1 and a half hrs ago). The control line is about 4mm from the 1 end and the pink line is literally on the other end. Wondering if its the glue or something holding the end to the stick has dis-coloured or something.....

hmmm is there a brand name with the tests that got sent?

babylove123 · 24/12/2006 12:31

Its called Highest Advanced Technology One - Step Test. comes in white packet. Has the CE mark on it.

Well had a quick look @ test and line appears to be a tad darker. Still not convinced its not just the glue or something......still keeping fingers crossed tho!

babylove123 · 26/12/2006 23:01

Thanks! Im worried tho coz i dont "feel pg", no sypmtoms, all gone......dunno how to read into that.

Feeling v crap about going to in-laws 2morro, sigh, feeling sorry 4 myself!!!

OP posts:
3Ddonut · 26/12/2006 23:08

With all of my pg's I didn't notice that I was late because I had no symptoms......

Why are you so uptight about seeing your in-laws? don't you get on?

babylove123 · 26/12/2006 23:13

Ah ok, feeling a tad better. Had a lot @ 1st so maybe my body has become "used to it" so to speak......

Well i get really homesick even when its only for a couple of days, im crap @ change and like being at home y'kno? We get on ok but there is an "atmosphere" as they have the grandkids there who i dont particularly get on with!

3Ddonut · 26/12/2006 23:15

babylove123 · 26/12/2006 23:18

Not at all, I grumble about going to my IL's for an hour!!!!! (they're not that bad really!) where are they?

babylove123 · 26/12/2006 23:33

I live in gloucestershire and they're in north devon (soz, wld specify but they dont know we're ttc and obv i dont want anyone recognising me on here by any freak chance!)

They're ok really, just feel like the lemon, the odd 1 out and all.......just prefer being @ home!!!

Going to bed now.... check in in the morning though! Good luck at the IL's!

babylove123 · 27/12/2006 00:06

Awwww Babylove.......so sorry to hear that, i was all ready for some fab news. .

Hear from you soon.

whatisit · 27/12/2006 16:15

aw babylove was really hoping for some good news for you maybe next month. Looks like we really are in a similar situation now tho lol. I thought id started late christmas eve- had really nothing more that a bit of spotting for 2 days then thats it- so what's that all about !!!! Gonna make an appt at gps now tho not sure what they gonna do.

3Ddonut · 27/12/2006 20:04

whatsit.... Is it an implantation bleed?

whatisit · 28/12/2006 13:32

dont think so- it was a few spots around the time my 2nd missed/late period was due. not enought to call it anything really- i was so relieved things were back to normal then nothing!!!I was sterilised 6 years ago 3Ddonut did 3 pg test -ve and blood tests all normal so no early menopause etc so what ever it is is physical cos im not particularly stressed at mo. Usually tho you bleed more with problems not less! I cant find anything that would even point to possibilities as to why im having these probs. I was hoping someone might have had something similar.

3Ddonut · 28/12/2006 13:38

Ah I see! sorry, can't shed any light on this one, have you seen your GP?
