9 days late but neg tests.....

Hi,

Im 9 days late and with no cramps. usually my periods are spot on so im confused with this one. Thing is my pregnancy tests have all been Neg. I had a nasty water infection for which i got "pregnancy friendly" anti-biotics for and finished them almost a week ago.

Could this be the reason i am so late?

Does it look hopeful i may be pregnant?

I have been told to go and get a blood test @ the docs but how long does it take for the results?

Yeh dont worry, im being realistic. Resigning myself to not being pg now so just waiting on the af.

Hi Babylove!! Sorry to hear that you've had another BFN. I'm not on MSN,don't know a lot about it really...

My news is...AF arrived yesterday, much to dh's relief!! I'd have loved another but the timings terrible! Well it was now or never, so I guess that's never, I've got three lovely healthy children and for that I'm blessed! I just hope that one day you'll be on here helping someone like yourself with your children all sleeping happily in bed!!!!

Clutching at straws (still being realistic, honest) but found this....

The benefit of urine pregnancy test kits is that they are less expensive; and testing can be done at home by the patient herself. However, instructions need to be followed carefully, and errors in interpreting the test results are not uncommon. These errors could occur if the urine is too dilute; or if the test is not done properly; or if there is a urinary tract infection exists.

Well i had the UTI! apparently dont have it anymore but have to go back 2 docs for more tests on kidney stones/renal cholic etc. Maybe, just maybe.......?

So glad i have my docs apt 2morro but wish i didnt have to go alone!

Well i went to the docs, what a waste of bloody time! He wouldnt help me @ all! Said if my period doesnt show up on 2nd Jan, go back and they'll see. I was so upset this morn. He even said "well it doesnt really make a diff if you are or arent pg, just treat everything as if you were". Um, it affects me a lot.....i wanna know if im gonna be a mum! I wanna know if my 5 months of ttc has actually worked! Bastard!

Sorry breathes deeply, im just very annoyed.

sorry havent read all of t his, altough i did post early on in it. How late are you now? surely there must be someway of telling you either way if you are pg.

Thanks for asking. Yeh im doing ok, well there are plenty of ways of knowing, blood tests and ultrasounds but he wouldnt do it! Says it isnt standard practice so that means i lose out. Just p'd off with it all, he didnt understand!

Wow, thats some messages! Awww it sucks dont it im 18 days late and have lost my sanity a while ago. You can buy some off ebay, a shop called fertility plan, they're v good.
