lucas is the only one i would consider, but as someone esle said luke is nicer

I like Jak for a boy and also James. DP liked neither so we went for Dylan which I also quite liked and still do.

Shame there are 3 in his class though.

Lucas will likely be shortened to Luke so unless you like that...

hi Kai is an irish name meaning son of the fiery one and is dh favourite (not made up at all)
Harley is my favourite as dh is a motobiker (not wanting to give too much away as im under an alias)
Kaydon and Lucas we both like
and James will be the middle name after my grandad.

James is a lovely name too. I preferred to have it as a middle name for my ds, as it gets all sorts of 'shortened versions' where I'm from when it's a first name, most of which I'm not keen on!

I dont see the point in worrying about what the 'kids at school' might call him as they will make a silly rhyme out of any name.

My name is zina and i got 'zina, ribena', 'zina, zebra', 'zina, peee-na', then as soon as the programe came out 'zina the warrior princess'.... any name will do for kids to take the mick out of.

I like Lucas...when we were looking for names,,, everyone hated what I kept suggesting... have a few ready and when he is born hopefully one will suit him just right!..

I wanted to call my first baby Lucas but dp refused to even discuss it saying it wasn't a real name.

We had 3 girls in the end so the problem never came up.

15 years on it's still my favourite boys name.
