40 weeks today (but due to being pregnant immediately following a MC I've been pregnant 11 months bar a brief 2 week interlude) and massively fed up. It's strange because I definitely did not feel like this with DC1?!

Didn't feel like getting out of bed today (or all of last week...) just want to hibernate til the baby makes an appearance.

My DM and friends keep trying to get me to go out for coffee, lunch etc but the thought of being sociable fills me with dread Sad

The constant barrage of 'anything?' texts is driving me crazy and my DP is pissing me off just by breathingHmm.

I know I am being totally unreasonable, but please tell me I'm not the only one feeling like this! Don't get me wrong, I am not depressed and I love my DP and can't wait for our baby to come but I am soooooh over being pregnant!

Come and hold my hand, please!! Grin

Nothing happening here today. No major cramps today, they seem to have died off. Have the midwife Friday so fingers crossed I am in a place where they can give me a sweep.

Bellejessleo · 17/06/2015 15:25

Can I join you for a rant?! I'm 39+1 so not due for another 6 days but I'm sooooo fed up! I can't sleep at night due to constant Braxtons every time I try and rest, I can't walk very far due to spd, rib pain, heartburn, complete exhaustion, loosing mucous plug in bits which is making me feel disgusting down there! I'm too hot, nothing fits me anymore, the baby's head is so low I have this constant bulging feeling as if he's trying to burrow his head out of me and something's going to burst! And oh the school run...if I have another person comment on how big I am or how im having a big baby I'm going to punch them!! And on top of it all I'm entertaining my 3 yr old dd all day which is just so hard because I can't do anything!! I just want to go to bed and actually be able to sleep.
Sorry for all of you suffering too, you are not alone!

Purpleboa · 17/06/2015 15:25

So, having cramps that are irregular but getting increasingly stronger. Also, twice when I've been to the loo I've noticed Brown very thick jelly like discharge (sorry gross TMI!) So I'm guessing this could be the start of the mucus plug or show?? Excited but also freaking out in a 'I'm not sure I can do this' kind of way! Want to get the show on the road but also want to run and hide...anyone feeling like this?

Bellejessleo · 17/06/2015 15:36

Sounds like the start of something to me! Keep pottering about, stay upright and active and see if it continues....I'm not jealous at all Wink
Have u got a birthing ball you can lean over?

spillyobeans · 17/06/2015 15:42

Im due tomorrow and cant wait to just have this baby now! My belly feels sooo stretched and im so uncomfy. Plus everything everyone is doing is driving me insane - i know its unreasonable but even 'nice' comments make me want to punch people!

Purpleboa · 17/06/2015 15:52

Yeah going to have a bounce on it now! I know it could still be quite a few days off though. Hospital check tomorrow so hopefully they can check if I ask? Yup spillyobeans my belly is like a skin covered bowling ball, there really is no comfy position!

Purpleboa · 17/06/2015 15:54

Bellejess oooft you sound like you're suffering :( this is my first, the thought of keeping another child entertained feeling like this sounds impossible! Fingers crossed there's action soon for you...

guinnessgirl · 17/06/2015 16:59

so many of us waiting now! My nausea and D&V have subsided now, which is good in one sense but looks like it was just a very ill-timed bug rather than early labour Sad

Come on babies! You are much wanted!

starfish12 · 17/06/2015 17:05

Sounds like it's not long purple. All positive signs. You will be fine - just remember our bodies are designed to do this, even if they do keep us waiting!!

I got the doctor to agree to letting me go till monday for an induction at term +14. I know that's a bit mental but I've waited this long for a spontaneous labour I might as well see it thru!! Only other option was c section tomorrow which I don't fancy. Got a growth scan tomorrow to check all ok and asked for a cheeky sweep while I'm there.

Must muster up some energy for sexy time later.... Confused

hullabaloo234 · 17/06/2015 17:07

glad you are feeling a bit better Guiness, bitbut don't lose hope it could still be a sign of imminent labour Smile
fab news about being allowed to hang on til mon and the sweep! as for energy for sexy time, just lay/kneel there and let him do all the work-that's what I've been doing for weeks Grin

HelenF350 · 17/06/2015 19:25

Belle I feel your pain. I'm 38+3 and have spd, rib pain, heartburn, reflux etc and am losing my plug over the last few days. I can't imaging trying to look after a toddler on top of that, I have enough of a job dealing with DP! Grin

hullabaloo234 · 17/06/2015 22:37

anything happening for anyone?! x

Purpleboa · 17/06/2015 23:50

Nope! Cramps have stopped. Just lying here trying to wind down but mind is way too active! Hope something is happening for at least one of us...

hullabaloo234 · 18/06/2015 00:27

guinnessgirl · 18/06/2015 07:21

nothing at all here, either. Angry

This is mad! Surely it's against the odds that nothing's happening for this many full term women? Hmm

hullabaloo234 · 18/06/2015 07:33

you'd think one of us would be in labour by now wouldn't you lol! feel so pissed off to wake up pregnant still yet again Angry

HelenF350 · 18/06/2015 08:06

Well it's not me. Sod all happening here. I have a relaxation class this afternoon, maybe if I destress a bit it will help.

Usernamesarehard · 18/06/2015 08:21

My little Willow arrive yesterday at 6.12pm having been in hospital about 30mins!!! She's perfect and I feel like I've been in only a minor car accident, as opposed to a major one Grin
Am definitely in the bubble of love!

starfish12 · 18/06/2015 08:28

Sod all here too. Am 41+3 now ffs! Feeling so sorry for myself as my last baby was born 14 days late too.
Acupuncture did naff all, I've got a sweep today - let's hope they can actually do it this time and I don't get another 'sorry your cervix is still closed'!
Was soooo hoping it would be today as my 20 month old has nursery meaning I could labour at home in peace. No doubt it will be when the in laws are here and I'm huffing and groaning to an audience Confused
Enjoy the nice weather everyone (heat exhaustion, swelling, sweating...) and let's hope one of us has some good news xx

hullabaloo234 · 18/06/2015 08:30

User- CONGRATULATIONS!!Grin Absolutely amazing news I'm so happy for you!! Talk about a speedy arrival! Will you be allowed home later today? I'm over the moon for you - and a bit jealous of all those scrummy snuggles you are having! xxx
